We were just driving through and stopped someone on the street to ask where to eat. He did us good. This was last month but just had to get a review in. This cute little place was great. I ordered Chicken with grilled vegetables. So good , down to last bite. I only wish OKC could learn how to really cook vegetables. All food came out hot with nice service. We will remember this place next trip for sure.

    Steak & Eggs Breakfast!

Have stopped here twice now. The first time was a little chaotic with my 2 oldest kids. We waited forever for our food to come out and was a little disappointed but the food was phenomenal! I decided to stop in for breakfast this week and let me tell you that they made up for it and then some with the great service! Only complaint was they brought our A1 sauce! Lol. Never need that on a well cooked steak! This place will definitely be one of my go to spots whenever I'm in town for one of the houses we are building for a client in the area! I absolutely love the interior look of this place with the old brick being exposed and the wood paneling everywhere! This is a great place you'll need to try out for breakfast lunch or supper! I've now had the chicken fried steak which was great and the steak and eggs for breakfast which was even better! The biscuits are huge and taste great with their gravy they make! Bacon was crispy! Hashbrowns cooked to perfection! Steak Rare exactly how I asked! Eggs were perfect! If you're looking to fill your belly then look no further! Stop in and get you a bite to eat!

The service was impeccable. Rachel was our server. The food was mediocre but great for a diner. Over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Hashbrowns were hot and crispy. Gravy was good. Biscuit tasted good but was cold. Sausage was hot and tasty. The coffee was super weak, more like hot water. Very inexpensive.

Server No idea. Never said her name. Never said anything to indicate that she was glad we stopped by. In fact this older gal seemed to almost have an attitude. Other customers called her "Grace". Ambiance This place is tucked on the back side of sallisaw and has a good reputation. It's a typical greasy spoon with the table (or three) of old guys sitting and spreading the days gossip. Food The vegetable omelet was good. The 2 egg breakfast that I got was not good. The hashbrowns were not cooked through out. The sausage was In no way cooked like I would prefer... cooked. Picking it out was the best choice. It would however, be unfair to note. They have very good coffee. As was the biscuit n gravy. Overall It's kinda disappointing. A place with such a history and reputation putting out food like this is very discouraging. Military Yes

Great hometown place. Staff was friendly and informative. We ordered the chicken fried steak for breakfast and it was a huge serving, enough for 2 of us to eat. It was homemade , dipped/breaded in house and so.e of the best I've tasted in years. It was tender enough to cut with a fork. Definitely a small town gem.

Shrimp was cooked perfectly and hush puppies had great flavoring.

Amazing friendly service and great food is all you ask for when going out and this place checks all the boxes. Food was prepared perfectly and when ordered the waitress will work with anything you'd like to add or change. Definitely a great relaxing atmosphere with plenty of room for groups and kids. Sallisaw is doing good food right and you won't regret stopping in for a bite.

A sweet young girl, named Emma, recognized my sorrow, and gave me extra, special attention, and really helped get my mind off of my sorrow, talking about our pets. She will do well in her chosen profession. While I prefer a thicker cut rib steak, mine was very tasty, tender, and properly cooked. I have no complaint. Just a single wish for a thicker steak, that's easier to sear.

The only down side was the chicken fried steak was heavily seasoned and a little smaller than Im use to but other then that it was really good. My daughter ordered carne Asad fries which I had a few bites of and it was really good and full of flavor and not over spiced. The service was very good and kept making sure our drinks were filled. They were also very knowledgeable about how the food is prepared and this was a major plus due to a few food allergies in our party. The restaurant was very clean and we really like the little town feel to the ambiance. Only thing I would suggest is that they serve freshly made dinner rolls which I think would be an option everyone would love even if they charged a little more for the rolls. We are looking forward to trying other items on our next visit.

I know you're supposed to eat catfish at a catfish house, but neither of us wanted fried catfish :). I'm here to tell you the alternative options are very tasty! Here's the setup- you are seated and they automatically bring you a bowl of coleslaw, baked beans, hush puppies, and a plate that has pickles and onions on it. This is for you to share, and they will keep refilling it as long as you empty it lol You then order what you want for your main off the list on the wall. I really can't eat fried food so I went with the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. I also had a side of steamed veggies which they serve with butter and some seasonings on the side so you can do what you want to do with it. Hubby was craving a steak and saw that they had a black Angus 10 ounce sirloin and so that is what he went with and he said it was absolutely fantastic. They have you cut into it to make sure it's perfect before they leave it with you. He also had an absolutely huge baked potato! I feel bad because we really couldn't eat all of this food, it's a lot! And for $57 this is a pretty darn good deal They do not serve alcohol, but you can get iced tea or sodas They have a person playing guitar and singing music, he was actually quite good! It's Saturday night and the place was busy but service was very friendly and efficient. I know this is well off the beaten path, but if you're in the area and you want a filling dinner, go for it. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and on Sunday it Looks like they have limited hours from 11:30 to 2:30p. There is a cash discount available but they do take Visa.

They are located near Spiro, Ok - sort of between Spirit and Sallisaw, Ok. We got baked potatoes and fried catfish, fried clams and fried scallops. We really enjoyed it.

The furnishings, decor and spaces are well designed to be modern, contemporary and (comfortably) trendy. The food was high quality. We enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller and Pull Apart Crab Rangoon as appetizers. For our main course, we shared a cut of 16 oz Bison paired alongside a Wedge Salad with thinly sliced green apple that complimented the superb homemade blue cheese dressing. We also had Brussels sprout and asparagus. Our kids shared a fish n chips with Mac n cheese as the "chips!" We drank water with our meal. The drink menu was plentiful for those who enjoy alcohol - it was quite expansive and seemed to have something for every taste from wines and beers and cocktails/specialty drinks. We don't drink alcohol, so we cannot speak with the voice of having tried any of the adult beverages. The dessert menu looked nice, though we didn't save room at this meal to enjoy - we will save that for another time. The pricing was a bit more than one would normally spend in the River Valley - though the ambiance, food quality, menu selections and wow factor were all certainly outstanding and in a class apart from most any other restaurant in this area. By comparison - I would say BluPoint would compare to Oak or Ruth's Chris (both in Rogers, Arkansas and both specializing in steaks). Other comparables in quality and enjoyment factor would be Doe's Eat Place in Fort Smith and the location in Fayetteville (also steak houses). Finally - just a little below those mentioned above (in my view), I would say 21 West End and Stone House at Chaffee Crossing, both in Fort Smith would be comparable to BluPoint. Of course, the menu selections will vary from the places I've mentioned as comparable - BluPoint had two solid options for high quality meat (filet and bison), as well as several seafood options - which makes sense given their specialty. We met the chef and he was friendly and pleasant. His creations (that we tried) were very enjoyable. We paid $270, including a 20% tip for the selections described above - so definitely don't forget the wallet or you'll be washing a lot of dishes!
