Only needed number 2 replaced; cost $10. Dr. Kim told me I needed an ENTIRE implant replacement for the small cost of $2800. Wow!

I just want to warn people about this practice, 3 years ago ( it previously was named Polish…read moreDental Center ) I've been a patient of theirs for years. I was told I needed a root canal, and was referred to an endodontist (Atlanta endo center) The root canal had failed, and a chronic infection formed. EVERY 6 months at my cleaning here at Duluth dental studio, I would bring up discomfort in the tooth to the dentist assistant and the Doctor. They would tell me it WAS inflamed/bleeding but there was nothing showing on my x rays to be wrong. I believed them. This past December, during my cleaning Dr Kimi told me the tooth had periodontal disease. That was a shock to me, and it didn't sound right. I knew I needed a 2nd opinion. Thank God I got one, my root canal was infected and had failed. I had to get the root canal redone recently, and this office (Duluth dental studio) has given me such a hard time about getting my dental records, saying they would be "encrypted" and I wouldn't be able to see them. I spoke with someone named Tonya on the phone a few days ago, who thought it was funny and was laughing because I was concerned about not being able to obtain my records. DO NOT GO HERE- please, go somewhere else. If something seems wrong with your care, STAND UP FOR YOURSELF. I wish I stopped going here years ago, so I wouldn't have had an infected root canal in my mouth for years. I should have known this practice was a joke when it suddenly shut down and changed their name/practice completely... so disgusted with this place and these doctors

Soo long story short I head butted my boyfriend on accident one night he was tickling me and i…read morechipped his tooth along with making others wiggly lol oops so i immediately felt horrible and we searched for places online to see who could attend him ASAP. I'm sooo glad i read reviews before just calling any place because i was originally going to call a different place but both locations had 1 star and the reviews were so bad. Then i came across Duluth Dental Studio and their reviews were awesome, a lot mentioning Dr. Moon being great. So he called the next morning and they took him in the same day! From his words, the staff was very friendly and Dr's explained everything to him thoroughly and were extremely helpful. Their membership plan is also great and helps save what he was originally going to pay. In his case, his bottom teeth were very delicate and dr was responsible and generous to let him know they couldn't go straight to cleaning his teeth or anything yet due to the fact that his nerves and teeth were too delicate at the moment and since nothing really hurt him but coldness they want to wait til the head trauma passes. My boyfriend then went in the next day to get a little fill since I did chip his teeth, on accident ! I believe they also did clean in between him gums which made his teeth look nearly brand new! Ofc he has a few appointments after that but we 10/10 recommend this place!! Don't go to a whatever last minute place without reading reviews like we were about to do!!

Dr. Nuguyen and his hygienist/receptionist T were phenomenal. Great conversation, made everything plain and easy to understand and didn't suggest any unnecessary work and even referred me to get my normal dental care done to fix, preserve and maintain my other teeth that weren't as bad as I was made to believe. The whole process was under 3k and they were able to get me started right away. The procedure was quick and mostly painless (those numbing needles are a b*tch). The quality of care was wonderful and I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get their smile back and better! Thank you so much

They obviously don't care about patients and don't know good customer service, and Alex, dental assistant has the worst ill manners. I took my parents to this office due to referral from my general dentist. The first consult, parents got oral X-ray. My dad kept saying the bite-wings hurt him. He said that the plastic cover for X-ray device has sharp corner cut his gum, hence, it hurt him. I told Alex a couple of time that my dad said it was painful. She immediately asked me " do you do X-Ray?" . It doesn't matter who I am and if I do X-Ray or not, you are hurting my dad and he is complaining about it. My mom had the same complaint when X-Ray was done because the plastic cover was so sharp. Today, after the oral surgery, she tried to put the gauze that she placed on a dirty table to my dad's gum. I told her that , then she said " let me do my job. You put the gauze on the table" . I caught her using the dirty gauze but she said it was me and upset . The front desk are rude and unas hell. They will put you on hold then hang up. You will call back and go to voicemails. The office manager needs to do better job on hiring good staffs and then know how to train their employees well. I definitely will tell my general dentist not to refer any patients to this place. And I don't want to come back to this place.
