This Columbia factory store is one of several Columbia outlet stores. This one is located at "The block" outlet mall in the city of Orange, CA. It is your typical open air outlet mall and there is plenty of parking. Columbia specializes in apparel designed for sports and adventure but more so geared towards adventures such as hiking, backpacking, running etc... They always have a sale of some sort for different items and i feel they offer great products at a competitive price making it a good value. The service is always friendly. I Love their Omni-heat jackets. I also love their T-Shirt prints and i used to buy all my tee shirts from them only. But unfortunately I stopped buying them because for some reason, they no longer use quality cotton Tees which hold up and wear a lot better than the ones that they use now. I feel that the ones they use now. The fabric is really thin. It wrinkles really easy and does not wear well at all. That's really disappointing for a big brand like Columbia. I have brought it up to the manager of more than one store but nothing has changed in the past 2-3 years since the change occurred. Thus the reason for taking 2 stars away. Please bring the quality cotton tees back and do not cut corners. I bet that your sales will increase. read more

The store is a bit limited in selection but it's always nice to have if you're looking for some deals on outerwear. Men's selection is way too small for me however. I occasionally find some good deals but overall it's pretty limited unless if you go when they are having one of their special seasonal sales about twice a year. The women's side has a ton of jackets and gear up to 60-70% off list price. However the guy's stuff is sometimes only fleece, tshirts, and vests and not much else. Maybe gloves. It's worth a stop though if you're in the area. I even got some hiking poles here for like $25 and they're good, compared to $50+ from REI You can also return online orders here which is nice, but they don't really advertise it. read more

Located in the Orange Outlet, parking is spacious but can get crowded. The store was filled with great discount and deals. Before Christmas sale, they had $25 zip ups that were great for gifts. The colors and style were basic and not too crazy which I love. The sizes were plenty and i was able to find a gift for almost everyone on my list. The store was considerable clean thanks to the staff there. As people are fumbling through the merchandise, they were busy refolding and replenishing the inventory. The crew was very helpful and nice. Feels good to shop there. Would recommend and will be coming back. read more

First time at this location, it was super crowded but regardless we received very good service as soon as we walked in someone was already greeting us. We were mainly there to check out the snow boots unfortunately we didn't find the right ones but we did find some gloves at great discount. This is the Columbia store at the Outlets of Orange shopping mall. As this is an outlet store, you can expect to find some good deals. This is a large store that covers a lot of space and offers a lot of items. Pretty much everything you expect from Columbia, they have. They have a large selection of clothing, footwear, luggage, outdoor items, you name it. And, it is all offered at a discounted price. This is an open store that is well organized and inviting. The staff here are always helpful and can guide you in the appropriate direction if you need any help. Pleasantly surprised to find a Columbia store so close to work. I've grown to love and trust the Columbia brand over the years since I picked up my first few jackets up in Portland over a decade ago. Always great quality, features, reasonably stylish and priced. I was shopping specifically for a rain jacket - one that was better than the "water resistant" one I had that left me soaking after just a few minutes in the rain, also in preparation for a long trip up to the Pacific Northwest. I found a style that I wanted after browsing, but was saddened to see that it was only offered in SMALL and MEDIUM. William to the rescue - extremely helpful, friendly and service-oriented. I asked him if he could check to see if a LARGE size of the jacket I wanted was available or not. He went in the back to look, and came back and told me there wasn't any LARGE left - but suggested I try on the MEDIUM to see if maybe the size runs a bit larger than stated. MEDIUM fit perfectly! Wasn't too tight, wasn't too loose - if it weren't for the printed "M" on the tag, I could've sworn it was a LARGE. I ended up picking up a winter style beanie too during my visit, and William talked up their free Rewards program and told me the cashier could sign me up. I returned (a few days later) this evening to pick up a slim backpack and some water resistant khakis - was helped by William again who remembered me from my first visit a few nights ago. Overall, amazing customer service, great selection, awesome prices (my purchase was almost half off the original list price. My first visit was yesterday - a very pleasant delight. All the goods were displayed neatly - easy to find and examine. Dressing rooms were clean and ready to use. Staff seemed very young, yet were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help us or stand by. Checkout was smooth and easy. I do not shop much. And I would gladly return here !!! So i walked into the store today after havin lunch at the block. The store is always clean and the staff know the perfect balance of being helpful without asking you a half a dozen times if you need help. Size selection is good and things are actually discounted with some really good deals. The winter gloves are a BOGO and worked well for a hike this doming month. If your in the area drop in as the stock is always being rotated and the brand is getting rave reviews in annual gear guides. read more

I am so glad to have a Columbia Factory Store in our area. The new store has a great supply of everything from socks to shirts and jackets. The store is very well organized, clean and has lots of sizes and varieties of apparel. Almost every time I walked into Columbia, they have a pretty good sale going on and the prices are hard to pass up. I buy lots of their fleece pullovers. The light weight ones are great for around the house and the heavier fabric is great when it chilly outdoors. They are comfortably soft and really last. They are also great for layering. Floors are slippery! Not wet - the flooring surface itself is slippery. Not safe. Otherwise, nice store.

As of Labor Day weekend, Columbia is officially open. Within the Outlets, it is located across from AMC theaters. I suppose the end of summer is a good time to start selling cold weather clothing. For this weekend only, 30% off entire purchase. It is a fairly spacious store with sections for men, women, kids, foorware and so on. It was well staffed. It is worth a visit for your outdoorsy/ cold weather shopping needs. read more

Zero selection. After looking at Columbia's website, I went to this local outlet to try on men's snow jackets. It was my first time and I'd actually call it more of just a retail store than an outlet. I had a hard time finding the men's jacket section, so I had to ask where the keep them. Turns out they had exactly three jackets. Not three styles, just three jackets. Two smalls and a medium. I then went to look for snow gloves. Just one pair available in small. Store clerks just referred me to shop from their online warehouse. You'd think that their online warehouse would just ship their outlets more inventory. Columbia is such a great, well-made brand, but this location is just woefully inadequate at this time of year. read more

I came here for an upcoming skiing trip to Mammoth and wanted to ensure that I had one hardshell and Soft shell jacket. The customer service was very friendly and they had everything that I wanted. The only drawback was they did not have the correct size of the color of hardshell that I wanted, which is not a huge deal. They said they could order it for me. I bought gloves and snow boots and I bought gloves and snow boots for my family. My kids wanted a had it so I bought them hats that were really great and I think will keep them protected and warm. This location is in a good spot in theOutlet mall at Orange and it seems to have a good deal of traffic. The parking is pretty easy and they have valet parking as well I think that I will definitely be back especially when my outer shell comes in my size. read more

Never shopping at this store again very bad customer service super bias. The store looks great fully stocked, but employees need better training to provide better customer service.
