I love the breading on their fried zucchini. I've also tried their fried mushrooms and their BBQ sauce is amazing!

Simply the best. Gyro plate is minimum three meals. Some of the best lemon rice soup in the region. Service is fast and solid.

I can no longer rate them a 5 star. The food although getting expensive still tastes good but the last 2 times I've been there, my order was incorrect or missing something, so make sure to check your order before you drive home only to realize you're not going to enjoy what you actually ordered. I don't mind paying for good quality but really have a problem with order inaccuracy. First I was missing a fry on my previous order and now today my Greek salad with chicken had zero olives and no feta. I will definitely be rethinking my choice for lunch next time. read more

I walked inside this Gyros joint to obviously get some good Gyros. I'd say the mission was accomplished. The inside was dated with a colorful feel throughout the place. I looked over the menu and decided to order the Gyros with Fries. On the Gyros, there was sauce, onions & tomatoes. My girlfriend ordered the same. We ordered two Large Diet Pepsi drinks, a B-B-Q Sauce, and a Bowl of Lemon Rice Soup as well. We sat at a corner table and waited for our food. I'd say it took about five minutes. We ate most of our food at the restaurant with the exception of the Lemon Rice Soup. The Gyros came in a hefty portion and all of the meat it came with couldn't even fit on the pita. It was really good. The Fries came in a big bag. They were decent, but even better with the B-B-Q Sauce! The drinks were alright. The meal was filling and worth the money. The soup was alright at best. I dumped the three bags of oyster crackers in the soup. They made it a little more tolerable, but still not good quality. It was bland to say the least. I wouldn't get this soup again. The service was satisfactory. It was easy to order our food at the counter. It was promptly made and bagged appropriately. They forgot our soup at first, but we ended up getting it. Overall, the quality you get for the price you pay here is acceptable. The portions are good. The restaurant was clean, but dated, so it's not the best place to sit down and eat unless you have to. They charged me over a dollar more from my total. We stopped by on our way to sweet home Chicago from Indianapolis. This place has a great variety of delicious, fresh food with wonderful customer service not far at all off the highway. The chicken gyro plate was a very generous portion of perfectly seasoned and tender chicken breast with all of the fixings (pita, lettuce, tomato, onion, tzatziki sauce) enough for at least 2 meals that leave you absolutely ready to pop you're so full. The fries are perfectly crispy and the lemon chicken and rice soup is top-notch. Drooling just thinking about it! They also have soda pop with REAL sugar that is definitely worth it if you're going to drink pop anyways - Coke, Sprite, Jarritos ... yumm! Can't wait to go back read more

I don't normally give a little gyros joints like this five stars but the food is always great. The prices are good and the service is good as well. My order is always correct and hot as it should be. I kept reading reviews about this place, so I decided to finally give them a try. I ordered their signature item, a gyro. Standard portion size, but it was served without tomatoes. I inquired why, and got a look like I had asked a ridiculous question. Funny thing is their menu states that tomatoes are included! That type of service is bad enough, but the gyro itself was definitely nothing special... not as good as Munster Gyros, or Panos in Calumet City (who both serve their gyros with tomatoes, just like they are at the Greek Islands in Chicago, and traditionally elsewhere). Today, I place a large order with Columbia Gyro in Hammond Indiana. Unfortunately, it was wrong, and the food was not well done. I ordered Chicken Gyro's instead of Regular Gyro's. The Meat was not well cooked, and the fries were not well done and drenched with the oil. I called the establishment, and they were not helpful in resolving the issue. I spoke to the supervisor (Jose) in hopes to get it corrected but instead he said, " There's nothing I can do about it because I don't want to lose money". Very unprofessional. I went here on Saturday and purchased a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. I asked for the lettuce to be put on the side the rude dirty looking cashier said that it doesn't come with lettuce. I said that's fine. I got home, got myself situated and now I'm ready to dig into my sandwich. I unwrapped the sandwich and I literally had to pull the bun apart to add my lettuce that I had at home, what Philly Cheese Steak sandwich you know that didn't come with enough meat that you could enjoy possibly the next day. Oh my Goodness, if you could have seen the small amount of meat that was in that bun you would have been PISSED off too. I paid $9.45 for this sandwich and on top of that the fries weren't done. I will NEVER EVER patron this establishment again and I will make SURE that non of my family or friends do either. When I called about my concerns, the manager said in her 17 years she has never had a complaint, well there's a 1st time for everything. I asked to speak to the owner because I heard he was a pretty nice guy but he wasn't in so they gave me to his wife. I should have just waited to speak with him because she was saying that the portions are pre-packaged from the vendor. I don't care that sandwich wasn't a $9:45 sandwich bread/cheese/onions/bell pepper and a smidge of meat. Good thing about this is I have options and I have opted not to ever patron this place again. I don't complain unless a complaint is warranted and today that's exactly what I did was complain without getting any results. P.S. Let me start by saying Good Food, and the ball stops there. Horrible Horrible did I say Horrible customer service. Every time I come the lady at the front acts as if she is mad at the world. I go through the Drive Thru and I am told I can't get a total until I get to the window because they only have one register to ring on and have to clear out the people in front of me. What??? Supposed I wasn't sure I had enough? I asked that and the cashier TD me to use my calculator on my phone to add up the totals from the menu myself and come up with a roundabout total. I had more than enough money but I left and I will no longer spend my money there again. Also I will be letting everyone I know not to patronize there either. I went to the drive through and had the rib tips dinner and wasn't a big fan but I've been back quite a few times since then and had the gyro, chicken and the cheeseburgers. First, let me say that the food is Great! Love the tips, but I would recommend trying to take the time to get most of the oil off of the tips. Your meat ends up swimming in sauce and oil. Other than that, LOVE THE TIPS!!! read more
