I tried it first to make sure it fits well, It was good to go. I wore the boots on my way work this week, the boots is killing my toes and was unable to change my shoes to a different. I wore it one time as the only I want to wear it. Trying to exchange to a different size, that is all I need. I brought the necessary stuff receipt, the tags and same bag. I went to the store today 12/5/21 at around lunch time. The associate is polite to me, explained my situation that I just need to change the size of the shoes. Not a return or refund. But, unfortunate thing happened they can't exchange the shoes due to the return policy, first of all, she wants me to read the return policy on the table while I'm paying, when I paid for it an associate never told me about the shoe policy, which most stores will do tell you upfront. In return, the manager on duty requested to just purchase a new one, since she can't re-sell my item.. And now they never gave me back my actual receipt, when I called them about my concern, to read the return policy on the receipt, which I don't have it anymore. The other lady also told me to read it, no one can explain it to me properly, but just to read. It's the first time they mishandle the situation, and bombarded with the situation how they want me to buy another shoes.. I told them I will call the corporate, and need the actual receipt and the name of the manager. Now, the manager told me she can accept my exchange and can return to the store, imagine the hassle she gave me. I was at the store 30 minutes.. i wish this was handled fairly, I don't want to make a scene in the store, or argue for more, It feels pointless how they talk to me..

But for the value, it's definitely worth it. My daughter got new skis and boots last season and the staff were very helpful. There is a buy back program that gives you discounts on the next set, which I haven't used but will likely have to this season.

I ended up with quite a collection of great work outfits! Today, I came in again, this time in search of overalls for a halloween costume (and everyday wear, so not an obvious costume). The salesgirls once again went above and beyond, finding the one pair left in the store, and it happened to be my size! I tried them on and they fit absolutely perfect. It was a last minute decision to go to there this evening and I was not really that excited about shopping...that is until I met Jessica, Denice, and Ciara. I seriously could say this is by far one of the most fun times I have had shopping for clothes. First, the customer service was spot on. They never let me have too many items in my hand by consistently, but not annoyingly, asking if I would like them to take the clothes back to the dressing room. While I was browsing, Ciara cunningly was watching my style and types of clothes I was choosing. This enabled her to pick out pieces and ask if I had seen or considered that item. Second, Jessica, Ciara, and Denise even arranged all the items I had chosen into outfits they thought would look well together. It was incredible! They showed me how things could be mixed and matched all by just hanging them up in the changing room! They showed me not only trendy, but sassy ways of thinking about dressing that could work both for casual or business wear. Denice was so knowledgeable about the specifics and ins and outs of clothing. It was clear that not only has she been doing this for a while, but that she has a passion for her work. Lastly, they said they would love it if I would show them all the outfits as I tried them on, so, what the heck! I felt like a little model (LOL)! They were so kind, funny, and honest about everything I tried on. They were there for anything I needed, whether it was to get some advice or to get something in a different size. When I was ready to check out, Jessica had a smile on her face and said she could see that I could not find anything I liked... she is hysterical! I loved Maurices clothes before, but this experience has me sold! I believe this type of customer service really ensures that customers feel at home and as if they are special. I did not buy it as I want to break the first pair in. I also saw the one I am replacing there, lol. If you are following, you already know I have been shopping for a new pair of Hoka shoes. And I finally found a place that had what I needed and wanted. They actually had my size! Thank you. I did not know Hoka also made slippers...? Might have to get one in the future also. My wife also got a pair of shoes the other day and put another pair on hold in this Sparks location. This location is smaller than the one we visited in South Reno, but larger than the Lakeside location, but still has a decent selection of high end good quality shoes for running and walking. Atmosphere - Clean and well organized. Obviously supports the running community, see all the pictures. Open 6 days a week from 10am to 5pm or 6pm. Closed Sundays. Water fountain station. Service - Only one person was working today. He did a great job with the two other ladies he was helping and helping my wife in between. And an amazingly hard worker. They are also willing to order for you if needed. And match prices if needed.. Price - $130. It pays to pay for quality. This was my first time in the Sparks location. I had frequented the Reno location as it use to be…read morethe only location. This one is closer to my house. I went in on 10/4/2023 with my mom and we were looking for good supportive shoes. My ortho doctor recommended coming here for said shoes. Leland and John were the ones in store today, so my mom and I each got a one on one experience. John helped me and he was super patient and listened to my requests and preferences for shoes. I ended up walking out with a pair of Brooks and Hokas, as I couldn't decided between the two which I liked better. My mom found a pair that she liked, but the Sparks store did not have her size. So Leland called the Reno location and placed her size on hold so we could go pick it up in person. Would definitely recommend Reno Running company and will continue to come back to them for solid shoes.
