After talking with us about our exercise habits and checking our gaits on their walking machines, he told us to sit tight while he got us some walking shoes that he thought might work for us. He brought each of us 3 pairs of shoes to try on to see how they felt. While we were trying on each pair, he explained each of the shoes to us. While he was helping us, the store got busy and he was also helping other customers. Yet, he did it so effortlessly, everyone was well cared for. He helped each us find walking shoes, inserts, and socks based on our specific needs. His customer service skills are awesome. He is friendly, knowledgeable, patient and he listens to his customers needs so he can help them find the right shoes. The store has an abundance of shoes and running gear at competitive prices and the staff is outstanding.

The sales rep we had, is the reason for this review. Right after he sized my girlfriend's feet, he automatically started pushing the most expensive brand after we told him we wanted a specific brand. He even gave us a shoe in this more expensive brand and told my girlfriend "it's like walking on a 2x4 piece of wood." I've never heard of a sales tactic like that. Next, every box of shoe he brought out, which was more than 10, was dropped or slammed, out of frustration, we weren't sure. My girlfriend asked him nicely to not slam the boxes as it was overwhelming and she was fighting through a migraine, which she told him. His response was, "what's a migraine? I think I've heard of one before," and he was being completely serious. Lastly, as another sales tactic, he tried having us buy a shoe that they didn't have in stock but a "newer model" was coming mid July, but he said it would be at the store in a week from today "for sure." Then when we nicely said no we will wait since the newer model was something she didn't try on yet, he then said "oh well I can put your name down for it as a hold." When I asked him why he didn't start with that instead of trying to sell us a shoe my girlfriend didn't even try on, his response was, "oh I forgot the store lets us do that." I shouldn't leave out the two times he swore saying f*ck infront of us and casually swore when talking about his personal life to us. Surprised at this kind of service, and ultimately he is the reason we will not be spending our money there nor coming back.

Sure the t shirt is well fabricated, the design appropriate to my tastes, however $50 and on clearance. Something is amiss here. To add insult to injury the counter salesman who assisted me waisted zero time to tell me that sizes I was searching for were not locatable in their inventory room nor did he provide alternative selections or impart product knowledge, let alone show enthusiasm for the items he was selling. At the bare minimum perhaps it might be beneficial for him to model his local grocery store clerk who inquires: "Did you find everything you were looking for today?", however to my dismay that didn't transpire. The sale was robotic, lacked pizzazz, upsell opportunities nor information shared about new products and failed to motivate me to purchase regularly at their location. A salesman knows his product, just like the female store manager who shared that new inventory from other stores would be arriving, was extremely knowledgeable about the variety of clothing and storage items on the floor. So...as I said when offered a receipt, "I'm good. All sales are final". My only expectation was to receive service with a smile from a store ambassador who knew the product line. Unfortunately that did not happen and I won't be investing anymore funds on merchandise at 511.

Heck, they'll even do a quick tune of your skis so you can fully enjoy your day. I have never been snowshoeing. When we showed up the guys engaged in a great conversation. They asked us where we were going. We let them know it was our first time and they gave us directions. They even gave us birdseed to feed the chickadees! The entire process took about 5 minutes. And you can't beat the price! We came in, I filled out a form, paid and we left. Super quick, super easy. I didn't have any questions as I had done my research on snowshoeing. Regardless, it was a good deal, so I came back to get 2 more Shorts the following day. When it was time to pay, there was no issue applying the sale, but we noticed the amounts didn't match when they should've been the same . Nick was able to see that in the previous purchase only a 5% and not a 10% Military Discount had been applied, so he made the necessary adjustments. I didn't even have to ask, he just made it right. I was able to take advantage of extra sales by placing my order via online and curbside was available. I checked in for curbside online and parked in spot #4, updated my spot and my order was brought out to me in less than five minutes. Their prices were a better deal than the other stores in the area. I will definitely be returning in the near future. With my kids and their sports I'm glad that this process was painless. I hate shopping with the crowds especially during the holiday season. With my busy work schedule and balancing my life these days, I've purchased most of my gifts online or shipped to my doorstep.
