    Side wall. Great photo spot.

This location is still sparkling new - despite being over a year old I think now. You pull into the driveway and are immediately met with a Wolf Pack mural on the side of the building. You know you're home and ready to represent the Pack! Very cool spot for photos too - especially Alumni before they move (like yours truly). My wife and I were looking for some UNR gear before we move. The store has a wonderful women section which is quite nice for my wife. She found workout clothes at a great price and a nice hoodie for nostalgia purposes. I was impressed with the mens side also but definitely looking for more sweatshirts and sweaters. There are lots of tees but not a lot of hoodies and no sweaters. I wear sweaters almost daily and was hoping to find something that I could dress nicely in as well as rep for the Pack. I did however find quite a few pairs of UNR socks which was an unexpected find as I have a sock collection! I picked up a pair but wanted more. They were a bit pricey so I could only justify one pair. I may come by and grab another pair before too long though. Also, the accessories were awesome. Perfect for game day. License plate frames. Face paint. Nail stickers. Car stickers. Beanies. Hats. You name it, they had it on the wall! Also the customer service was a nice touch. Helpful but not pushy. There to give my wife a fitting room, check on her once but leave her to take her time choosing between outfits. They also called the other store for me in an attempt to find a $5 clearance tshirt in my size. Nicely done. Only downgrade is due to the more business oriented apparel options. Game day - yes. Workplace - not really.

One of my favorite features is the Walk of Presidents upstairs. The lifelike presidential statues are fascinating, and you can listen to each president's story as you stroll through history. Kids (and adults!) will also love the indoor Ferris wheel (only $1 a ride), the classic shooting gallery, arcade-style attractions, bowling, the candy shop, and the impressive aquarium. You could easily spend a couple of hours here even if you're not shopping. Don't miss the cafeteria if you get hungry. It's a great place to grab a bite, and while you're there, be sure to stop by the fudge counter. They offer free samples of their delicious homemade fudge, making it hard to leave without buying a piece or two! When it comes to shopping, they truly have something for everyone. Whether you're looking for clothing, shoes, sporting goods, camping gear, coolers, golf equipment, water toys, or just about anything for the outdoors, chances are you'll find it here. The selection is incredible. What really stands out is the customer service. Every employee I've encountered has been cheerful, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. Located at Legends in Sparks, Scheels is one of my favorite places to browse, shop, and spend an afternoon. Whether you're shopping, exploring, or just looking for a fun family outing, this place has something for everyone!

They're overpriced, especially on non-sale items on almost everything. I stumbled here in the very rare circumstance I needed something before Amazon could deliver it -- a snorkel set before leaving for Hawaii the next day. I was blown away what was inside. A full size Ferris wheel? Shooting Gallery? Cafe? Candy Store? On and On. While not nearly as impressive as the Bass Pros headquarters store in Springfield MO, for those in Reno locals/visitors, it's worth a visit just to see the place, especially when super cold or hot out. Liberal's (REI folk) might find some of the stuff amusing (the premium gun collection and the huge safe assortment come to mind.) I'd give about 30 minutes to wander around. Longer if you actually want to shop or actually do some of the activities.

I really wish they would open a Sierra branch in my 'hood in Northern California! Sierra is like the "sporty" arm of the TJX family of stores. You can get camping gear, clothing/shoes for men, women and kids, home goods, toys, snacks, pet supplies, and so much more. It's like a treasure hunt every time! There's also clearly marked red tag clearance items in each department. On my recent visit on a Saturday morning, I found good name brands in clothing and shoes, such as Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Levi's, LL Bean, and Crocs. All at discounted-from-retail prices! The store was recently remodeled and everything was neat and tidy. The cashier was pleasant and the line moved at a reasonable pace. There weren't a lot of workers roaming the floors to ask questions, but then again, this isn't a typical department store, so don't expect Nordstrom service! Highly recommend checking Sierra out to see what bargains you can find!

We were regular customers of their employee store in Richmond, CA. That location is for employees and invited guests only. We fall under the invited guests category. My wife also buys both their Sorel and Prana brands. Atmosphere - Good size location. Well only 50% stocked now. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Great, but feeling sad for their employees. After talking with us about our exercise habits and checking our gaits on their walking machines, he told us to sit tight while he got us some walking shoes that he thought might work for us. He brought each of us 3 pairs of shoes to try on to see how they felt. While we were trying on each pair, he explained each of the shoes to us. While he was helping us, the store got busy and he was also helping other customers. Yet, he did it so effortlessly, everyone was well cared for. He helped each us find walking shoes, inserts, and socks based on our specific needs. His customer service skills are awesome. He is friendly, knowledgeable, patient and he listens to his customers needs so he can help them find the right shoes. The store has an abundance of shoes and running gear at competitive prices and the staff is outstanding.

The sales rep we had, is the reason for this review. Right after he sized my girlfriend's feet, he automatically started pushing the most expensive brand after we told him we wanted a specific brand. He even gave us a shoe in this more expensive brand and told my girlfriend "it's like walking on a 2x4 piece of wood." I've never heard of a sales tactic like that. Next, every box of shoe he brought out, which was more than 10, was dropped or slammed, out of frustration, we weren't sure. My girlfriend asked him nicely to not slam the boxes as it was overwhelming and she was fighting through a migraine, which she told him. His response was, "what's a migraine? I think I've heard of one before," and he was being completely serious. Lastly, as another sales tactic, he tried having us buy a shoe that they didn't have in stock but a "newer model" was coming mid July, but he said it would be at the store in a week from today "for sure." Then when we nicely said no we will wait since the newer model was something she didn't try on yet, he then said "oh well I can put your name down for it as a hold." When I asked him why he didn't start with that instead of trying to sell us a shoe my girlfriend didn't even try on, his response was, "oh I forgot the store lets us do that." I shouldn't leave out the two times he swore saying f*ck infront of us and casually swore when talking about his personal life to us. Surprised at this kind of service, and ultimately he is the reason we will not be spending our money there nor coming back.

Men's clothing selection is nice But I probably wouldn't be able to find anything in the women's section in my size. At least not in the times I have been to the store. That said, I have a few qualms with customer service. I personally have not had any problems but my teenager, who has been in a couple. The last two occasions were their last. The first time they wanted to purchase a pair of gloves. The gloves were 32.99. My teenager had two 20s. They were told that they no longer take cash. I found that odd because I had been in just a few weeks prior and used cash. Thinking it was a new policy I figured no big deal, I'll just go in and get the gloves which I did. I used my card and there was no issue. A few months later my teenager went in again, this time with a card, and again tried to get an item. This time a beanie. They were told that their card was not accepted. When I asked for clarification my teenager said they didn't even run it they just said they weren't accepting that card. It's a MasterCard. I have no idea what the problem was this time. My teenager also told me that they were followed around the store and felt uncomfortable. My teen was there with their friend. Both kids are amazing young people who never get in trouble, are not rowdy, and are very respectful. My teen is actually quite shy and so going up to buy items causes a bit of anxiety. When they encounter this issue with the card they just put the hat down and left with no words. Since this experience my teen and their friend have not gone back. They both felt unwelcome in the store and like they shouldn't be there. Their stories of how they've been treated when going in alone (they're 16 so old enough to shop on their own) has really soured my opinion and has made me avoid Cabona's.
