This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Avoid them at all costs. I've tried to use them…read morethree different times and each time they were unable to fill a prescription for one reason or another and never reached out to contact me. One time the prescription was half filled and they didn't tell me, they just bagged up the other medicines and handed them to me as if they were done. Each time it was days of inconvenience trying to get things fixed. I can't imagine a pharmacy could be this incompetent.

This last time I came, two people were literally spending more than 15 minutes talking to someone in the drive through. The Manager wasn't doing anything, and there was a huge line both in store, and the drive through. The manager gave me attitude when I mentioned it was inappropriate to have more than 8 other people waiting while working on a single customer for more than 15 minutes, especially with the pharmacist literally standing there doing nothing. When you have actual physicians telling you how bad this place is, I really should have known better. Use this pharmacy if you want to spend a minimum of 30 minutes picking up your medication every time.

If my doc sends in a script, I have been able to get my meds refilled that same day most of the time. When I call, I do have to wait on hold for a minute or two but I barely notice because it isn't for very long at all. All the staff I've interacted with have been on the friendly side, and they pretty much always have my medication in stock. In my experience, they are actually willing to help, too, and don't treat patients like an inconvienience. I think there was a period of time where a lot of pharmacies were understaffed and I think the negative reviews of this Walgreens might be from that era- and therefore a little outdated. Overall I have been really pleased with my experience at this location!

When I called to say I was down to 1 dose and ask when they would have it the young girl who answered the phone had a terrible, unhelpful, "I don't care" attitude. She seemed rather gleeful that I had a problem and made no effort to help me at all. She didn't even look in the fridge to see if it was there. She told me to call around to other pharmacies. I lost my temper because of her cavalier attitude; this girl has no business dealing with the public. Everyone else I have dealt with at that store has been lovely. When I called another Walgreens the woman who answered took a moment to search the computer for me and found 2 stores that have the med. -What the first girl should have done. That being said, it is a real shame they have not followed the lead of a major national competitor and removed the sale of cigarettes from their supposed health oriented business plan. They have filled all three levels of this former bookstore facility. The basement level is the vitamin, supplements, first aid and quasi medical supplies that you would find in other chains, offering both national brands and private store brands. Plenty of sizes available which seems to be a failing of the big groceries and discount box stores. There is no prescription pharmacy at this location. Being adjacent to campus, they are serving a population that generally receives University healthcare which includes their own, and very affordable pharmacy. The main level still sells CU gear as before along with school supplies, tech accessories and gift items. There is a grocery section including refrigerated and freezer cases of convenience foods. The upper mezzanine level includes beauty, personal care and household cleaning supplies. On opening day, there was plenty of staff and checkouts on the main floor and the mezzanine. I doubt they will maintain so much staff unless they attract a larger number of customers. The prices are higher than you would find at a destination big box but if you sign up for rewards membership, it becomes far more competitive. This is true of all such health chains. Today my member savings was over $8. Get rid of the cigarettes and I will go up a star!

Went back again this morning only to find a handmade sign in the window that read, "The Pharmacy is currently closed today due to pharmacist callout. Sorry for the trouble!" Then, 10 minutes later on my drive home, I received an automated call from Walgreens stating that my prescriptions are ready but that the pharmacy is closed. I called and spoke with someone at this Walgreens location who told me to go to another Walgreens (wait in line, etc.) to ask if my prescriptions could be transferred and filled. NO! I think Walgreens has wasted enough of my time and has caused enough TROUBLE! This is par for the course in Colorado...standards are so low here it's near impossible to write positive reviews for anyone or anything. I hope the people who support this incompetence, ineptitude and unprofessionalism are really happy with themselves...it's only going to get worse. I'm always anxious about getting immunizations of any kind and it's worse if it's something else like a blood draw. We made appointments online and arrived on time. We had to wait a little while because someone was ahead of us. Not a big deal. My spouse went first and he asked the pharmacist if he could stay in the little stall with me due to my anxiety. We were unsure if we'd be allowed that or not, due to COVID. But the pharmacist allowed it. I told the pharmacist that I was really anxious and I was told not to look. My spouse held my hand and I closed my eyes. I only knew he'd even started because I heard the noise the syringe makes when they're empty. He'd already removed the needle and covered the site by the time I realized what happened. It legitimately did not hurt, it was very fast, and it was free with our insurances. It was a great experience. If I can get through it, anyone can. Do recommend. Edit to add: The pharmacist made sure our special bandaids were right side up so they can be read. I thought that was cute.

I got passport photos from here and needed the edited (zoomed-in face) digital copy to submit in the online application. When I went home and downloaded the digital copy to my computer, it was the original full-body photo. If the full-body version isn't acceptable for the physical copies, why on Earth would it be acceptable as a digital copy? Anyway, I end up driving all the way back to request the edited version, only to be told that "That's how the digital passport photos are, we don't send the edited version". I verbally called BS on that, explaining that my family just had their photos taken at Walgreens (different location though), and the digital copies they received were the correct edited version. That was met with a lot of "we can try, but...", "I've never seen it done that way..." and "the computer won't send it that way" comments from the service representative. Seeing that any further requests for correcting the issue would be met with more angsty teenage-level attitude and eyerolling from a fully grown adult, I just left. Inhale. Exhale. Repeat. I will never set foot in this Walgreens again. If you value your time, money, and sanity, then I highly recommend making the drive to another location to try your luck.
