When I arrived for the FREE consultaion I was impressed by the comfort of the office and waiting area. They even had a Keurig for coffee!! There was a short wait, at which time I filled out paper work regarding medical history and necessary forms as well as valuable facts and FAQ's to read through. While you're waiting there are photos of before and after's playing on a tv. It was good to see real life results. I was called to the back by a frienly young lady that directed me into a private consultaion area. Very comfy and intimate which was so relaxing. After discussing the proceedure and answering the millions of questions I had, we reveiewed pakage and payment options. The consultant was VERY helpful and honest and even suggested against attempting certain areas only because of the type of hair and potential of the lasers. I settled on a package and they even tried to get me in that night! Unfortunately I had a prior engagement and could not stay. However I returneed in 2 weeks time for my first appointment and was blown away!. The friendlieness of the doctor and the laser technician where second to none!! And the feeling of the laser was perfect...not painful at all! It has been about 4 weeks since the first treatment and the results are already noticeable. I have only had to care for a small are 1 time since. Normally I was preforming at home hair removal maintainence 1-2 times per week. Relocating to Columbus area past summer meant losing the comfort of all you personal care routines and therapist. The search began....I had been undergoing hair removal with IPL laser and had significant reduction in the amount of hair, of course I couldn't stop now. BUYER BEWARE! I was a client at a different location that they shut down a few weeks ago. They sent an e-mail that said they were closed and if there were questions to call 866-694-1019. I've never gotten a call back and usually the line just hangs up so you can't even leave a message. I did get an e-mail that said that they had sold the business to another local provider. I immediately called that local provider to schedule my next treatment and was told that they had not been told of the e-mail sent by Premier Laser Spa and were still in negotiations. I have a $5000 investment paid to them and in three weeks cannot even speak to someone after writing and leaving a message that I want a refund! (They did e-mail back that they would not give me a refund in spite of less than 25% hair removal.) Most recently they said it would be another 4-6 weeks. To recap: They have my $5000 and are unwilling to refund the portion for services they can no longer provide me. I found Columbus Laser Spa online and was immediately drawn in by the coupon they had advertised for $250 if for new clients. I clicked on it and received an email to get in contact with the company to make an appointment for consultation. The process was easy and everyone was very helpful. My first appointment was to see what i wanted to purchase and that prices was also easy and I want made to feel i had to purchase anything, if I didn't want to. Right after i made the purchase, i had my first treatment. It was very quick. I had significant hair loss after the first treatment and i get to have 8 more that i purchased! I can't wait to be hair free! This is truly something I have been battling with my whole life and I finally found a solution! My second appointment was today. When I walk into the office i am met with a wonderful smell of candles, many bowls of mints and a single serve coffee machine for my coffee drinking pleasure. The entire staff is extremely nice! I have been treated by several techs and they were all wonderful but I had been going for quite some time and not getting the expected results. The first time I was treated by Annie I knew right away I was finally going to get the process completed. I believe the other techs were afraid to increase my laser strength due to my natural darker complection in fear that I had been tanning. She also had no problem treating my "brazilian area" which is where I was having the most hair still remain. I understand that it is a littel awkward to treat that area but it is nessesary to have no hesitation or embarrasment getting all up in the business of the area if someone is going to get results, where as the other techs were a little more reserved in treating that area so I was left with a less than stellar outcome. I would recommend the service to anyone who is tired of dealing with unwanted hair. It is absolutley worth the money!!! But if you are going to get "unmetionalble" areas treated I recommend Annie. read more

I was in a few weeks ago for a consultation and it was crazy high pressure. I told Tiffany numerous times that I wasn't comfortable committing and needed time to think and was somehow pressured into signing papers. She was really good at her job... Not letting people leave without signing up. I told the front desk I that I didn't want to do it before I left and they put me back in a room with Tiffany where she told me I could meet with the doctor and if I decided to cancel, I wouldn't be out any money. I met with the technician and doctor and told them I wasn't ready to commit and that I didn't want to do it and told the front desk again. Tiffany called me the next day and told me to think about it over the weekend and if I decided to cancel, I wouldn't be out any money. I called the next day to cancel when I knew she wouldn't be there. Today I got a bill for the full amount of the service that I told them I didn't want and that I was assured I wouldn't have to pay. Don't go there unless you want to be pressured into high prices. read more

Not sure what I had got myself into, but thought it was time to make back hair go away. The consultation helped ease my concerns. Doctor was friendly and made sure there would be no medical interactions. He even showed me how the laser would feel. The tech came in to perform the treatment. She was super friendly and actually quite attractive. Great, I thought, but she kept me at ease. Treatment was quicker than I expected and not as uncomfortable as I would have expected. You can feel the heat of the laser pulses but it has a cooling spray that limits any discomfort. The tech offered to apply some aloe if I still felt any burning or itching, but I felt fine. I felt no ill after effects later that night also. The front desk set me up for my next appointment and I look forward to my journey towards a permanently smooth back! Also, one piece of advice, make sure whatever area you are treating is not tan. The laser works by targeting pigment, so it needs to be able to find the dark hair. read more

I was incredibly nervous because I have heard of horror stories about other people's experiences with Groupon deals for laser hair removal, however, my nervousness dissipated the moment a arrived for my consultation. It could take 8 sessions if the area you are treating is very dense with hair, but by the 4th I had almost no hair in the areas being treated and I can't tell you how amazing it feels to never need to shave or be embarrassed again. The women at the front desk who handle your scheduling are so friendly and accommodating (funny too). My specialist of choice is Anne (Bonthy). She's so sweet, knowledgeable and funny, and makes me feel so comfortable that I forget I'm having a treatment. It's more like catching up with a good friend. I'll be heartbroken when I never get to see her again. And the prices are reasonable as they are always having a special. If you add up the cost of shaving supplies and your lost time, it really will pay for itself in just a few years. I started my laser treatments over a year ago and have absolutely LOVED my experience!! I went to Columbus Laser Spa to follow the deal, I told my consultant that and she asked if I had been to other places. I told her where I had been and the areas that I had treated...her response..."yet you still have hair in those areas". I said yes and that the 'other places' told me it would be new growth. She disagreed with what they had told me and said that I should not still be having hair growth in those areas. As with other folks I was skeptical, but what woman wants to be hairy...I mean really? They worked out a TERRIFIC deal for me and assured me that they had very good success. I have only had one treatment done so far and that was just this past Thursday. I am so excited to go to my second appointment with Columbus Laser Spa today! I signed up for a leg/ underarm/ bikini package, and after only one session I am shaving only one time per week vs. every single day. What a difference! I wish I had laser hair removal years ago! The Columbus Laser Spa staff has been great to work with, and the prices are so much more affordable than Ideal Image. Honestly, when I decided to go with Columbus Laser Spa I was a little nervous that I would not get results because somehow the service must be less effective because it is so much more affordable... I chose Columbus Laser Spa instead of Ideal Image because they had a better deal and their website was more personal, which made me think my experience there would be more personal. I was right! The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Even in the midst of feeling embarrased during the first visit, the staff was sensitive, accommodating and reassuring. I have received treatments for 4 months now. At first I doubted that the the treatments would actually work as well as they say, but I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly there was a reduction in hair growth. I went to Columbus Laser Spa after having an extremely bad experience with another company. After 10 treatments with this other company I had less than 5% hair reduction. So when I came to Columbus Laser Spa I was very skeptical, but I really wanted to have the treatments done. They assured me that they had very good success. Cautiously I went ahead because they seemed so sure that it would work for me. After the first treatment I had 30%+ hair reduction. By the 5th or 6th treatment it was more like 98%. I was so pleased with the results that I had other areas treated. I am about as happy as I can be with Columbus Laser Spa. I really wasn't sure it would work for me, but it definitely did. I just moved to Columbus from Cleveland where I was a client at the Cleveland Laser Spa. My experience at Cleveland was pretty poor - they burned and ruined a tattoo and on a seperate occassion did something to my underarms that resulted in the skin turning brown and peeling off in huge, dry pieces. Definitely not a fan, and I was seriously considering going to a new place rather than transferring my remaining Cleveland package to the Cloumbus Laser Spa. I am glad I gave them another chance. My technician, Jackie (I beleive) was great - thorough, friendly and she apologized for my experience at the other location - something the Cleveland staff never bothered to do. I am guy and I started by getting my head done (everything from the neck up except beard and eyebrows). I got an amazing deal. I am 35 and have been shaving my head for eight years. I wish had done this years ago. AMAZING GIFT FOR A HUSBAND who shaves his head. Now that I am current client I get even better deals. I just got the complete T-shirt area for a price cheaper than anywhere else I have seen on-line. The staff is friendly and even take the time to laser the hair to make straight edges that leaves a real clean look. Columbus Laser Spa is AMAZING. I went to another laser place for a consultation before going here and the differences were outstanding. At the other place I was made to feel bad when I remarked how expensive the treatments were. They said, and I quote, "Aren't you worth it??" I couldn't believe how expensive it was. I am almost done with my treatments and the results are great. I can't overstate how amazing it is to not have to shave. Although, I have recently had some side effects, (significant itching), so I called Columbus Laser Spa and they were very supportive and helpful with tips on how to mitigate the symptoms. My technicians are always friendly and patient with me, as I do not handle the pain very well. Overall a good experience. One piece of advice- do your treatments during the winter months. In order to be able to receive treatments, you must not have had any sun exposure, which becomes very difficult during the summer months if you like to play outside. read more
