Burgers are AMAZING!! We tried the "Bad Breath" and the the "Whiskey Burger" a both were awesome but the Bad Breath burger was the better of the two. The Homemade Pecan Pie was the best I've had and super delicious... even non-Pecan pie eaters in our group liked it. Stopped here for a late lunch, was standing at the Outside window, the order taker, in a less than pleasant way, literally jumped back because I wasn't wearing a mask. Lady, I was standing outside. She refused to take my order unless I put a mask on so I did and then place my order. She was then generous enough to give herself a 20% tip added right onto the bill. I had the whiskey burger yesterday... it was so good! Best burger ive ever had. If I was still hungry, I could have eaten a second one. As a side, you can choose between fries or salad. I chose salad with honey lemon dressing, it was a really good combination. I went on a Saturday around 6, the waiting time was appx 10m. The decor is very cute. There are only appx 8 tables. This restaurant is amazing! We had the Meatloaf, Chorizo Pasta, and Fish and chips. All of the food was fresh, well seasoned and gourmet grade. Coffee is great and we topped it all off with the Pecan Pie and Chocolate chip cookie. This is a real find in the area! Service is also top notch. We will be passing by again tomorrow. We believe we left our credit card after a great meal last Saturday night, but didn't discover this until we returned to our home 150+ miles away. Since then we've called multiple times on multiple days - it hangs up after announcing it's CombRidge and rings 5 times. We've emailed, we've tried social media - all with no response. We've been there multiple times and we love the food and service. But we need our credit card! 10/28/22 Update: Sharon emailed me back with apologies and a note that our credit card is in the mail! It was a cold morning ride and I was looking for a warm breakfast and some hot coffee, from out of nowhere popped out this place. First, the coffee is amazing. It's not a diner mass produced kind, seriously quality. Second, the service was awesome. They were so nice, greeting everyone who walks through the door. It's a small quaint little setting that is relaxing and comforting. Lastly, the pancakes. OH MY GOD THE PANCAKES!!! They were seriously the best pancakes I've ever had. Delicious!!! We stopped here on our way to Moab and the food was outstanding. I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger and it was mouthwateringly delicious. Super yummy and I had the salad with the citrus dressing. I loved the touch with the pickle. My kids got a wood fired cheese pizza and they liked it so much I took a bite to confirm that it was indeed very yummy. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich and liked his food as well. Wow, what a find. I walked into this place at probably a top 5 hungry moment of my life and left having had a top 5 meal of my life. The bourbon burger was absolutely mouthwatering. You will dream about this place for years. My first visit to Comb Ridge Bistro was in July 2014 and I've been dreaming about it ever since. Whenever I see blue corn pancakes on a menu, I get them - only to be disappointed. I've tried making them at home - great, but nothing even approaching the ones here. I was starting to think that maybe I was overhyping Comb Ridge Bistro in my memory, but I went back today and can wholeheartedly declare that I. WAS. NOT. I've lived in Utah fro 10 years. Been to every nook and cranny. This isn't just the best food in Bluff. Not just the best food for hundreds of miles. Comb Ridge Bistro is easily one of the best restaurants in the state, on par with Hell's Backbone Grill in Boulder. Get everything. Go for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This place is special. Get the blue corn pancakes, prickly pear lemonade, their homemade pie, grass-fed burgers, fish n' chips - literally everything. To top it off, the owners are incredible baristas. This place is just eh. I had the pulled pork sandwich but it was nothing to write home about. There's no inside seating and very limited outdoor seating. We were basically sitting in the hot, dusty parking lot within feet of someone's bumper amidst the flies landing all over our food. Our server seemed to be on top of things, but then we waited a good 20 minutes to get the bill when we heard people at other tables saying they don't bring the check, you go inside to pay. read more

While visiting in the Monument Valley area, we drove to Valley of the Gods and then on to Bluff, UT. We spotted this cafe and decided to have some lunch. It reminded me of some of the eateries in Homer, Alaska so I instantly felt right at home. I had an egg salad sandwich on fresh homemade bread and my partner had quiche. Both were delicious and very tasty. The homemade pumpkin muffin for dessert was possibly the best I have ever eaten. 5 star wow factor on that one! The locals kept coming in for coffee and lunch so it's obviously a popular place. It's filled with 4 Corners Native American arts and crafts. We were staying in a nearby town, which we discovered was virtually devoid of decent restaurants. But down the road a bit, in Bluff (pop. less than 400) had some viable choices. Go figure. Based on the reviews, we chose Comb Ridge. Oh. My. Gosh. This place is a sparkling gem in an arid desert of eateries. Falafel Tacos? Pork Poutine? Tabouli? And wine/beer??? Are we still in Utah?? Our waitress was friendly and pointed out several items on the menu, explained that they make dishes in house from scratch using fresh ingredients. Gotta love that. If like me, you've never had falafel tacos, get these! Made with local Anasazi beans (instead of chickpeas or fava beans), topped with salsa, yogurt sauce, cotija sauce & greens, served in a fresh warm pita. Huge serving, too. Side salad of fresh greens and veggies topped off with house made dressing. Being a Sunday, our other entrée was the special: Pork Banh Mi, which is a slow-roasted pork sandwich with veggies served on a grilled baguette. Absolutely outstanding food - our taste buds were so incredibly happy! We were just too full to get desert, but the ones we saw passing our table looked *to die for*. While waiting for your meal, check out the local arts & crafts for sale: jewelry, painted silks, native crafts, paintings, homemade soaps and oils. What an unexpected delight in the middle of nowhere! This bistro is a gem! The dining room is an eclectic mix of mismatched tables and chairs, which add to the charm. My husband had the Mexican vegetables with rice and I had the falafel taco, made with Anasazi beans and blue corn flour. Both were out of this world delicious. I'm impressed that vegetarian options were available, even though we aren't vegetarian. We stopped at this place for lunch on the long drive between Moab and Page. We arrived a bit earlier than the lunch menu started but they allowed us to come, sit and start ordering while they were getting ready. We ordered fish and chips, two side salads and a chocolate chip cookie. We enjoyed very much every single dish. Fish was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Chips and sides were excellent. The salads were simple, but made with excellent ingredients and a refreshing citrus sauce. Chocolate chip cookie was great! This place is also very famous for their special coffee beans that come from India. I did tried and I can tell that I wasn't expecting to find such good quality coffee in Bluff!
