Fantastic place considering how small Bluff is! We tried the western pizza and the quality of the toppings and crust were great. They have a small but good collection of beers. Stayed at an RV camp across the road and ordered a Bourbon Burger and pecan pie to go. Hannah who checked me out was polite and friendly, the to go packaging was neat and trendy in cute brown folded boxes. The burger and fries were hot and well cooked. The bourbon burger (I don't remember what the description said but it tasted maybe like a barbecue sauce with bourbon?)with bacon was very tasty and had two patties. My husband and I split it with an extra order of fries. It was plenty of food. The pecan pie crust was exceptional. Maybe the best I've ever had. The pie filling was very thick and dry. Maybe I should have warmed it up. In Oklahoma our pecan pie filling is softer and more like a caramel custard made with brown sugar and eggs. This filling was more brown sugary and grainy. This is your best option for dinner during COVID. They have about 10 tables out front, well spaced. The food is fresh and delicious. Staff works hard to make everyone feel welcome and well fed. Mark and Sky are the best. You won't linger over dinner - there are probably folks waiting for your table - but you will leave happy. We went twice in four days! We were there for dinner so couldn't try the raved-about blue corn pancakes, but the fish and chips were excellent. Even my terribly picky son liked the cheese quesadilla they made for him, even though that wasn't even a menu item (he didn't care for the offered kid options). Note that the ketchup is not homemade despite the claim of another reviewer (we talked about it with the waitress). We stopped for lunch at Comb Ridge, on the way from Monument Valley to Moab, and were amazed. How this gem can exist in such a sparsely-populated area is beyond me. The decor is old fashioned country (lots of wood) and you expect a rustic experience. Then you see the fancy espresso machine. You sit at your table, complete with wobbly chairs, and open the menu. It gives you hope - this is not a dry hamburger and soggy french fries place. The waiter comes over looking like a good old country boy and then whips out his tablet. And somebody can really cook! Our vegetable quesadilla was excellent, probably the best I've had. There was a delicious smoky flavor, probably from the smoked gouda they used, and the vegetables were perfectly grilled and well balanced. The fish and chips were the best you can buy, crispy and tasty. Fries ditto. The apple pie was very good too - at any other restaurant it would have been the highlight of the meal, but here it was just very good pie. I'll bet everything else is good too. This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel we were staying. The setting outside was quaint and we were seated near a giant cottonwood tree on a very nice day. The waitress was very pleasant, and we placed our orders. Everything went downhill from there. My hamburger was served cold when it was supposed to be hot. The prices were exorbitant with $21 burgers. Then we had a hassle paying. It was one of those one line payment devices which I abhor. I was never sure I had paid when I was assaulted with an invasive questionnaire which was time consuming and annoying. I reported that to the owner who indicated he had no idea about it which is odd - just who is asking for this infomration and why and how is it being used? My advice to other customers is to go elsewhere or bring food with you to this one-horse town. My advice to the advice is to serve warm hamburgers at a reasonable price and get rid of you annoying pay system and survey. read more

We liked this place so much that we came for a repeat in the next two days, even though it took a 25 min drive from Blanding to Bluff. Service was flawless all three evenings. This is not only one of the best restaurants in Bluff, probably one of the best in the southern region of Utah! So rather than saying great service, great food, good prices, what are some of the other details that would make me want to visit this place over the rest? The atmosphere. It's not your usual 50's diner look or the usual chain restaurant feeling with pretentious servers and cliche specials. It's more like a coffee lounge kind of look which fits perfectly with the food. The place is not huge but not small either. On the walls you will find random pictures. Not your themed Najavo pictures but pictures that look like they were inspired by the atmosphere surrounding Bluff. The service. Simple, straight to the point. These are people that simply love what they cook and what they deliver. Therefore, they are enthusiastic about sharing what their food is like, how it pairs well with certain drinks, and what not to miss out on your visit. The food. Oh the food. Food like this has not been tampered with yet. Meaning if it ever went in to mass distribution for all, you will have to alter some ingredients to preserve and to save money. For now, it's food at it's prime! The fish and chips, the server said they are a MUST, and yes they did not disappoint in the slightest. It's amazing how crispy the outside is while the fish, while cooked thoroughly, is still soft and moist. Amazing! The meatloaf, that's a whole other story. Everything flavor wise blends well. Does not remind me of any sort of packaged meat with seasonings. Even the mashed potatoes balanced out the meal without tasting like paste on a warm plate. Now the dessert, the key lime pie, outstanding, but I want to talk more about the Pecan Pie. According to the server, a well renown international chef came to visit Comb Ridge Coffee and commented on the pie saying, "I must have the recipe for this." That's enough to sell me and I've never had pecan pie until then. How do you say, when there are chocolate pies that taste LIKE chocolate, butterscotch pops that taste LIKE butterscotch, well the pecan pie IS pecan pie. It's the only way I can describe it. Price - For the experience, after the long drive, the service, and the unforgettable food, not only worth it but affordable! To sum it up, including the monument and canyon visits, this place was one of the highlights of the trip! TIP: Be sure you arrive at the earlier window of lunch or dinner in case they run out of any food portions. They were almost out of meatloaf when we arrived. Thank goodness there was still a portion left to create. Comb Ridge Coffee sounds like a small shop but possesses a monumental array of restaurant nostalgia that is very hard to come by. I was passing through in early March and stopped in for breakfast after I read other reviews about their blue cornmeal pancakes. Breakfasts two days in a row at this cozy spot while staying across the street in a cabin at the Desert Rose Inn. Menu was limited, but we fell in love with the oatmeal. This was no ordinary oatmeal - instead it was perfectly laced with seeds and currants. Hot cocoa with whipped cream was a great way to start the day, my sister loved her chai lattes, and my mom's large coffee latte had four shots of espresso - one hell of a way to get going for a day of visiting the natural glories surrounding Bluff. Atmosphere was welcoming, with a staff clearly committed to responsible sourcing and warm customer service. Prices were easy. I was looking for a breakfast between Kayenta and Tuba City. I did not hold out much hope that this place would be any good given its location. However, it is GREAT! My coffee was as good or better than Starbucks, the food was great, the service very good, the decor interesting and very clean. My mom and I found ourselves in Bluff, UT for the Huff 2 Bluff Marathon last weekend. There weren't many dining options for the night before the race, but found this quaint place while searching on Yelp. It is a really cute place with a small menu. My mom ordered a regular cheeseburger and I ordered the Hot Fatty burger. They were both huge, but delicious. I ate every last bite which is very unlike me! My brother and I were traveling southeast Utah for 10 days and whenever in such small towns, we get concerned about food after hiking all day. Stayed right down the street in a VRBO rental while we explored the Four Corners area. Based on reviews here, I knew we'd have to visit one morning so I could try the blue corn pancakes. We sat down and had fresh orange juice that was delicious and a cup of coffee that was one of the better ones I've ever had. I had the blue corn pancakes with eggs and sausage and all were so good and obviously quality ingredients. My daughter had the Breakfast Santa Barbara and the onion jam on the potato pancakes was amazing. I wanted to go for dinner as well, but we just didn't find the time while we were there.
