Xifinty has the worst possible customer service by all means. This company scheduled an appt for my wall plate to be installed next day. When it was time for the appt, the AI bot stated "tech on the way" and my account had a "tech arrived" message. NO TECH SHOWED UP at all. 7 customer service and tech reps later, 4 hours later and still no resolution. Xfinity response to me was " well the appointment was a request, not an actual appointment ". WHAT??? No sense of pride, no sense of urgency, no sense of " hey, we are negatively impacting paying customers ". This company is the worst. read more

I called xfinity/comcast to add a line to my cell phone. They said phone would be active within 24 hours and they would email or text me the number of the new line. Nothing happened within 24 hours. So I called again and had a woman who hadn't had a clue what I was talking about but got frustrated with me and gave me a cell number that is in use already and we still do not have any service! They are incompetent. But, equally as bad is that you can barely get past the automated system, they will only give you options to pay your bill. You have to scream for the system to get you to a "customer service rep" ( I use that term very loosely!. I will switch my service. To top it off, there is rarely cell service in at. Somehow I ended up with 2 Comcast accounts for the same address and same tv/internet service. I tried calling the customer service number to get this straighten out, but they were only interested in getting my payment for the month, and not fixing my issue. This was my 2nd attempt with no luck. They (Comcast) created this issue, but will do nothing to help me solve it. Hell the support staff barely speaks English. I would not suggest Comcast to my enemy. They have incompetent people working the phones. I had them for 2 years, my contract supposedly was up so the gentlemen told me over the phone. So I told them to disconnect and I returned all the equipment immediately. Well I have been getting a bill from them for over $800.00 because they say I didn't meet my contract. That was 4 years ago and I still get bills from collection agency and now my credit is dinged because of that. Be very careful if you go with them. Plan on staying with them a long time. I didn't because the pricing continued to go up and I couldn't afford it anymore. The service is the same as all the other cable companies, no better and for the price, not worth it. read more

I was in the process of buying a new home, so knowing my closing date I went on the xfinity website and using their move your service tab I set the date to have my service moved. I sat there on the prescribed day, all day, and no tech showed. I did this a total of 3 times, on 3 separate occasions. I finally went on the website to contact customer service, to find out I was still being charged for service at my old address even though I hadn't lived there in over 15 days. After finally getting someone in the chat box. They set up a date a week later, I didn't agree to it and they didn't tell me a time, then they escalated me to 3 different analysts, I finally got a call last night at 5 ish. To let me know someone will be there on the 25th between 10 am and 12 pm. I told her that I have a job and can't be there. I had already missed one day of work to get this crap turned on and couldn't afford it a second time. The lady came back with, "Well you are the one who set up this date and time." I told her that I didn't set up either. But that the tech would have to come 2 pm or later any day of the week. She then responded, "Well I don't know what to do with you." I politely told her I would seek services from a different company that wouldn't take an entire month to move a person's services. The house is a new build so there are no wire drops to attach to, hence the service technician. Otherwise I would just do the online set up myself. Now I go on the site this morning to find a new date and time for a service tech. The 30th of this month anytime from 8 am to 8 pm. As if I would waste another day sitting at home waiting on a Comcast installer that might or might not show up. So instead a box of all of their equipment will be waiting for the tech instead.
