I had a terrible experience with Xfinity. My roommate paid a $200 bill within days of disconnection, yet Xfinity still sent it to collections and added $100. I had service for less than 4 days and was charged $50+ early, then disconnected and told to pay $25 to reconnect. This feels like targeted mistreatment. Given Xfinity's history of discrimination lawsuits, I'm deeply concerned. I've submitted a formal complaint and will escalate to the FCC if needed. read more

I lost my home and just about everything in it during the October tornadoes in Florida and Comcast wants their modem back. We lived on a lake and most of the homes in my neighborhood ended up in the lake. They have been harassing me ever since it happened. I have explained to many C.S. Reps at Comcast that we couldn't find it and they say they understand but keep calling me for their equipment. I finally told them to visit what was once my home, now a bulldozed lot, to look for the equipment. I also advised them to bring scuba diving or snorkeling gear. read more

Don't use their service. It is extremely unreliable. They randomly upgrade their system without warning. Really not good, especially if you're a remote worker. They do random upgrades in the middle of the work day. When I call, they tell me "so sad, too bad." read more

So they charged us service a week later they suspended it and said someone whom used to live at our address owes a bill and said we have to track them down and get them to set up a payment arrangement cause they used to live here. This store is not the problem, but the overall company is! Service was out for one full day in South Ogden, Utah. After work was completed, my family is not able to access the iPhone remote feature. System says it could take up to 4 minutes and it's been 2 days! Online chat did not resolve anything. Terrible customer support for this very expensive system. I don't recommend Xfinity for anyone In addition, some window sensors are not placed properly. Extremely difficult to replace batteries and impossible on some without relocating devices. Last week we moved to 628 East 260 S. in Midway, UT 84049. The day we found out we were moving we contacted Xfinity to set up our Internet. We requested a transfer of service. Xfinity verified that there was service at our new address, told us congratulations you will have uninterrupted service. Xfinity's representative showed up at 8 o'clock this morning and told us Xfinity does not service this house! What a joke! What terrible customer service. We could have been working to find another provider for a whole week and instead it delayed our service and we don't even get any! Terrible experience. read more

Buyer beware. We had the service installed when we purchased our new condo, however upon deciding condo life was not for us we purchased a townhome. When we called to have our service transferred to our new home we were told service there would not be available for 30-60 days. We could not wait that long as my husband works remotely from home. Comcast clearly does not appreciate its customers ! The name of their game is almighty gouge and nickel-and-dime the customer to death My significant other got talked into bundling our internet with cable which we never use because we have Android streaming media players which get far more than Xfinity can ever hope to get AND is all FREE and NO commercials!!!! Comcast has a racket going! What I cancelled the cable it only brought the bill down $14. $14? Really? They're playing the numbers marketing scam and it's going to catch up with them at the end of the day. What this consumer knows is that people like me are getting more savvy. This is the worst company I have ever worked with. This is poor even for a cable company. I have a new service and it has yet to work. I have made multiple calls to the tech support and they can't resolve the problem. They sent out a technician and he couldn't solve the problem but said he would be back. When I called the company the next day they have no record of this. I would cancel the service but the HOA only has a contract with Comcast. UGH...started cable and internet service in a nightly rental condo we own. The service did not work properly, so we had to call customer service several times over the course of a couple of weeks. I am a pretty even-tempered and patient person, but started to 'lose it' after attempting to navigate their phone system and not having options for my particular concern...and no option to speak to a human. Had to call several times and push buttons of other options to find a human. After going through the situation with one and spending about 30 minutes on the phone, he said he had to transfer me. I asked him to make sure the call went through, and he promised he would call me back if we were disconnected. We were disconnected, he never called back so I had to keep calling. I kept being placed with agents who were incredibly difficult to understand. If you have to ask the agent to repeat themselves after every other sentence, IT MIGHT NOT BE A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE THEM WORKING A CALL SERVICE!! Apparently it is located in the Philippines .... I asked one agent to transfer me...I was begging and pleading, telling her I could not understand her, and she would not give me a manager or ask for an agent. I ended up hanging up and starting over from scratch (4th time in a week). Ended up we received the wrong equipment from local service center....so had to exchange. One of the agents there very kind and helpful, another disinterested and not helpful. I attempted to get a contact email to explain my concern directly to Comcast/Xfinity. The agent on Chat was trying to have me discuss the issue with him. I told him I'd wasted too much of my life on Comcast, and just needed the Freaking Customer Service Email address (which is not listed on their website)...I spent an hour writing a detailed email concerning my issues, and the email was returned as UNDELIVERABLE to the address I was given. XFINITY/COMCAST BITES !!!! Unfortunately, I don't have another option as the condo complex has a bulk account with these BOZOS. For the price we are charged, the customer service should be excellent. I'm sure they can find very competent help in the United States for their customer service! read more

I have full Xfinity-Comcast service for around $270 per month. My remote was sticking and I drove to Park City to exchange it. I walked in the door and the woman behind the door grunted something, I don't know what she said, but I know what she did not say. She did not say hello, good morning or may I help you. I said that my remote was sticking and she got up, went into the back room, and came out with a remote that she tossed onto the table top. I asked if I had to program the remote and she said: "Yup." I walked away and there was no good by or even a good luck in trying to program the remote. They have a newer location and the windows are clean, but the service still stinks. read more

Like to think I am a very patient person but it was truly tested tonight. I started at 9:40pm trying to get help on putting a password on my wifi network. I was asked to provide my full street address, phone number in the account, last four of my wife's social security, account number, username and half hour later, he needed to call my wife to verify if I am authorize in the account. Keep in mind, I verified every single security questions he asked of me. After the call, he congratulate me that I am now authorize and then asked for the email in the account. I then ended the conversation. I understand security is vital and I appreciate on all the companies that I deal with. This is by far the worst. There is a point after verifying 6 different security questions you say, he is really not interested in my problem. Sometimes policy is there for a good reason but in Comcast's case, I am not sure who they are trying to secure. Customers or themselves from helping their clients. I know I am just one customer but I rather be paying someone $188/month to occasional assist me when I have a problem. Hope that's not asking a lot. read more

I had to login to my account, and then I tried to downgrade my service, as I've never used your poor cable tv offering, and when I selected my new internet-only service, I got a confirmation number and an assurance that my order would be processed soon. I've received 5 calls from you guys today, all of which rang once, then hung up. I finally call back, and I'm told that my order went to sales when it should have gone to retention. Also, I couldn't be transferred, and retention was closed, so I have to call tomorrow. I don't want to call, I want to be able to use your website the way you website indicates that it can be used. I don't care that your CSR is sorry for the inconvenience, I care that I can actually make a change to my account. The charges to my account keep going up and your service quality keeps going down. There is legitimately no reason that charges for a basic service keep going up as economies of scale dictate that costs per customer should go down. The only reason I even patronize Comcast is that there is no other option in my area. I'm very close to shutting off cable internet, and just using my phone as a wifi hotspot at home, and using my tablet to stream/cast everything else. read more

Tried to get television for 8 months in Park City from the 800 number and the Park City office. Comcast was not interested in having a customer for less than a one-year contract. Other than Satellite companies, Comcast is the only apparent option here. They only want you as a customer if they can lock you in for no less than a full year.
