I was astounded when I saw how much he pays for this service! He watches around 10 channels, 15 at the absolute maximum. Dish needs to come out with an option where we can personalize what we want to watch, not what THEY want us to watch. It's not fair that we should have to pay such an absurd amount of money for something we don't use! Plus, as soon as it starts getting cloudy we lose signal! Forget about it it rains or the wind blows faster than 5mph, our signal is gone long before then! Which brings me to my next point. We've been losing a bunch of our channels due to "complete loss of signal" for over a week now. After a 20 minute conversation with a representative I couldn't understand and a bunch of "tests" he had me run, he finally set up for a technician to come out and fix it. Fast forward to the next day, the technician assessed the issue but long story short, he couldn't fix it. Before he left he asked to use the bathroom. Which we, of course, allowed. The next person to use the bathroom noticed that the water was still running in the tank of the toilet. My dad came to the conclusion that the technician broke the flapper by pushing too hard on the handle when he flushed. Not an expensive/difficult fix but that's not the point. Moral of this review: I do not recommend Dish. Not one part of this company is worth what you'll pay.

    Sunday, July 17, 2022: My wife and I had a great experience at the Xfinity office in Owings Mills…read more We traveled to the Comcast Xfinity office in Owings Mills - 10132 Reisterstown Rd #20, Owings Mills, MD 21117 on Sunday, July 16, 2022. The Xfinity store had really convenient office hours on a Sunday, from 12:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. Our TV Box got fried when we lost power at the house during a severe thunderstorm that passed through the area on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. We went to the Xfinity office in Owings Mills to swap the box out for a new one. We were in and out of the store in minutes. The store is very stylish, spacious, open, clean, well-lit, and upscale appointed. A really friendly hostess greeted us as we entered the store. The store was not crowded, but there were a number of customers there. Yet we were seen by a customer service person very quickly. Our customer service person's name is Dante White. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He did not rush us. He acted as if he had all the time on the world to chat with us, yet in minutes he handed us a red bag with an upgraded TV Box. He walked us through the installation and activation process, and we were on our way quickly. It was a great experience. We had located the store on the internet. It had a phone number listed with the information on the store - (800) 266-2278. Do not waste your time calling that number. It goes to a central call center, and it is not efficient use of your time. Several years ago, we were really sad when the Comcast store in Westminster closed. The folks in the Westminster store were very friendly and helpful. The store was located in a central location in the county and served customers in Carroll County really well. Our customer service representative reported that he sees lots of folks from Westminster. The store in Owings Mills is only about 20-minutes from Westminster in a large shopping complex located next to Owings Mills Boulevard where Maryland Cup was once located. The drive was easy and effortless. The store is located very near - next to Wegman's - and a Cava, where we picked up our dinner after we visited the Xfinity store. After years of having Comcast internet and TV service, I hope to never-ever have to call the Xfinity customer service line again - after too many horrible user experiences. However, if I ever have a need for customer service from Xfinity in the future, I will look forward to visiting the Owings Mills store. Give it try - you will not regret it.

I visited the seeking assistance with my account and spent approximately one hour attempting to resolve my issue. During that time raymond, repeatedly redirected me to several employees who were unable to assist me. He then contradicted the virtual assistant stating " that he didn't know what he was saying" which only added to the confusion and lack of resolution. Thought out our interaction, Raymond repeatedly emphasized that he had worked for the company the company for 20yrs. However, despite his claimed experience, he did not provide any meaningful assistance or take ownership of resolving my concerns. Instead, after hours of being passed between employees, I was ultimately told to contact customer service by phone. What was most concerning was raymond's demeanor. I found him to be rude, aggressive and condescending. Rather than treating me with professionalism and respect, he spoke to me in a manner that felt dismissive and belittling. As a customer, I left the store feeling embarrassed, distressed, and uncertain about how to proceed with my issue. I believe customers should be treated with courtesy, respect and a genuine effort to resolve their concerns. My experience at this location fell far below those expectations. I hate my current internet and cable company-- Layer3 come to NYC please!! My brother had Layer3 installed one morning while I was visiting. I complained and expected the worst, but it was literally the easiest experience ever. This nice install rep (hi Chris!) came perfectly on time and did the entire setup for us in a few minutes - he was very pleasant and funny. I had no idea what this new cable was, so he spent time explaining and showing us a few pointers to make sure we understood the software. It's like a no contract, no fee, amazing cable company that has even higher quality imaging. Plus virtually unlimited DVR space (Hello binge watching!) Oh and it's less expensive than what I'm paying for UGHHHHH. The Damage: I believe the price is different depending where you are, so worth calling to see. The people that comes to do the installation are very professional as well. I am saving $50 a month with layer 3. Don't hesitate, you can't go wrong with them.

    I am reviewing this place for their satellite installation and customer service. I have nothing but…read moregood things to say. I have been dealing with Skyview off and on for almost 15 years. It started with a Dish installation. It continued with a Dish upgrade. From the owner, Duane, to the installation techs you get nothing but great service. Even if you have a problem with Dish, Duane always goes the extra mile to find a solution to get you a Dish install in your home. A few stories to illustrate this all. My mother had tree cover all over her yard. Dish and Direct tv folks had come to the house to check for signal and they told her it wasn't happening. I told mom to call Duane at Skyview. He sent a tech out and they found an easy and quick solution by putting the Dish on a poll beside the house. There was a direct line to the satellite. To this day, that install is in place. The only difference is, I am living in the house and my mom has moved elsewhere. But we upgraded a few times since then. Which brings me to the next story. Because I share a name with my mother, Dish wouldn't approve an install at the house, given possible shenanigans. Duane assured me that we would work it out. He found a solution and worked with me to make it happen. Now I have the great Dish Hopper system in the house. The tech has been to this house about 3 or 4 times upgrading or installing new systems. He has always been professional and very quick at his job. I appreciate these folks and will continue doing business with them in the future. I hope you do as well.

The installation was a bit complicated, but Kurt's guys, Joe and Adam, stuck with it and didn't take the easy way out. The next day, a Sunday, a piece on the dish went bad. Excede told me I would have to wait three days for a tech to come out to make the repairs. This is after more than 50 minutes on the phone. I called Kurt, and he drove in from his home - 90 plus minutes each way - to hook me back up to the Internet. I am very grateful for his diligence and integrity in backing up his product. He answers the phone and is available, and Always, Always seems to have the answers I need, When I need them. He is devoted to his customers and loyal, and his install team does a fast, efficient job too. My first dish with them, Joe installed in ice and know and I know his hands were freezing too! They are good, hard working and really get the job done right! In this business, they truly excel and do care about their customers, something other companies should do, but many don't give us the time of day. It is a relief to be able to call someone who knows and is willing to go that extra distance. They are really an asset and very valuable team and you're lucky to get their service and install!

    I had called last week to set up a payment plan I'll approved. It was to begin on 8 January. I get…read morean email last night telling me that my service has been disconnected for nonpayment on the 30th. I call them this morning and tell them that wasn't the date that was picked that was 8 February And they said well that's what was putting in the computer so not only are they not turning it back on, I have to pay my bill in full plus another 200 for a reinstall it. Because it was their fault. When I spoke to a supervisor, the supervisor said, we could go back-and-forth on this, but it's not gonna matter because once you get the email that you're being shut off, there's nothing more he can do. It was the biggest scam I've ever seen. I've been with them for years and all of a sudden recently, I started getting these emails from them saying that my bill has been running late which it hasn't and that my payments were dollars short which they weren't and I kept sending proof over. It was terrible. They finally I told him just keep it off. I can't deal with you guys anymore

We noticed they were charging us $160 for about 4 to 5 months without any notification and without supplying any service and refused to pay us money back. We talked to several employees and managers and not a single one were able to refund our money back that they stole from us without supplying any services. how is this legal?
