This is their mini tenderloin. Full size is twice as big!) absolutely delicious!!

One of the best pork tenderloins ever. Great price and great service. It was thick with a crunchy breading. So so good

Breaded Pork Tenderloin was 9.5 Come N Git It! Martinsville in Very Good for $12.95 with choice of side. I suggest their Come N Git It Ribbon's Home made fries get the seasoning.

We've been wanting to try this place for a while. We have always been to late - they close at 3:00. We were very pleased. We arrived around 1:30. I missed the restaurant as I thought it was an antique store. The eating area is decorated with old woodworking tools and delightful pictures drawings made by children and left for the staff. This place has a very relaxed, down home feeling. My wife's first concern is cleanliness. Even though they had been open since 8:00, this place was spotless. Second, is service. If you have been experiencing bad service, you need to come here. You would be hard pressed to find better. We talked with the manager at the end of the meal about the amazing service. Ever time we had wanted a drink napkin or box to go, it showed up without us asking by different servers. We were checked on just the right amount of times by 3 different servers and the the manager at the end of the meal to make sure the meal was perfect. The manager told us that there are no sections in this restaurant. Everyone is there to make your experience the best it can be. It was! Finally, the food which was made to order and served still quite warm. So many places let it sit in the window and cool until the service has time. The wife ordered the 1/2 order of breaded chicken salad. It was the perfect size for her. I had to order the pork tenderloin with all the fixings - I'm from Indiana, what can I say. I'm posting two pictures of it. The first is with the bun hidden under the tenderloin. I tried the cat and stack method for the second pic. There is no way you could open your mouth wide enough to tackle this. I had to gave up and bring the second half home for dinner. It hung over both sides of my Aunt Millie"s bread. This has been the best restaurant we have been to in Martinsville on our weekly visit.

Found this spot on my way back to the airport. There was a sign at the corner saying come checkout out the new Martinsville. So I made a right and decided to take a look since I had some time to spare. I sure am glad I turned... the food was amazing!!! I had the tenderloin sandwich with their homemade chips. This place makes you feel happy. What a great experience. Thanks Will stop by again and again and again when I have to visit Indiana

Solid four, maybe a 4.5 star experience. I stopped in while exploring the Martinsville/Morgantown area and wasn't sure what to expect. After parking by the courthouse, I stepped into the restaurant and was told I could sit where ever I liked. I grabbed a high 2 top along the right side of the aisle that runs down the length of the restaurant. Soon, a waitress took my beverage order and let me look over the menu. They have a lot of breakfast items including breakfast wraps that I thought was something I don't see at most diners. But since it was already a late lunch, I went with the tenderloin (I chose breaded) and picked the 'Git It Ribbons' as a side. Before long, my basket arrived with a huge tenderloin that covered both halves of the bun side by side! The buns were dressed as I had requested...I just couldn't see them until I lifted the tenderloin. The other half of the basket was filled with thin, spiral cut potatoes...think one large potato chip that expands like an accordion! They offer those plain or seasoned to fit your tastes. Back to the tenderloin, this wasn't some thin pounded to death piece of meat. Instead, the tenderloin was nearly a half inch thick which allowed it to stay moist and tender. The breading had just enough seasoning to give it a balanced flavor...not bland and pasty. And though the menu said it was 10+ oz, that was an understatement. I used my knife and a to go box and figured my meal was nearly 14 ounces of breaded delight! (It made for a nice second meal later.) I will say that the only area of improvement could be on the service. Only one gal was handling taking orders for the entire restaurant (another guy helped bus part of the time.) Another person sat at the checkout counter where you pay. My service was good most of the meal, but when I was ready to check out, it seemed like I had trouble getting the servers attention. She never did bring a bill, but told me that my bill was waiting at the front desk. That seems like an odd way to do things. I'm not sure why they don't tell you that they have a different method of bill paying so that you don't waste your time waiting. Oh well, the food was good and the service was generally good too. Great value for the money as well. Review #2122

Sysco food. GFS food. Skip it. Nothing special, school food sometimes better. Don't see the appeal. Once was enough.

So it's kind of loud with kids running around everywhere. There are quiet spaces however I think the design is weird with having that play area close to the counter. You can't hear them call your name for drinks and it make waiting around awkward because they put the drink out at the counter directly across from the play area but if you don't had kids, you don't really want to wait down there. If I owned the building, I'd flip the spaces to have the play area on the other side of the door to the cafe and then people could have a more streamlined area for coffee. The artwork on the outside is adorable and attractive and changes based on the season. My drink was off the spring menu - I got an Irish Cream Chai and added an espresso shot. It was incredibly sweet. Much too sweet for my liking and I am pretty sure they used a store bought chai concentrate, which kind of bummed me out. Also, the cost for a large (with tip) was $12. That's pretty outrageous. Would I go here again? For sure. I just wouldn't get and extras or get the large because paying that much for a chai (that isn't even freshly brewed) in this economy is very much a luxury spend.

They even made a fancy design with the milk/froth on top but of course it ends up getting covered by the lid but I did appreciate the effort and attention to small things.

It was delicious, and we've eaten there a few times since and always have a great experience. We both have been wanting to try some of their lunch specials, but we work and can't get there to check it out. We were off today and decided to go there for lunch because they were having chicken and noodles, and that's one of my favorite meals. It did not disappoint at all. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals and even ordered seconds to go, so we could have it for dinner. The chicken and noodles came with mashed potatoes, corn or green beans, and a roll. You could definitely tell the food was homemade too. Delicious! The Farmhouse Diner isn't a very big restaurant and can get pretty busy. It reminds me of a little country diner where all the local farmers and their wives go to eat breakfast and lunch. The staff is always super friendly and attentive too. We will definitely be going back.
