I live less than 5 minutes from Fort Washington Tire and from my recent visit, I thought it would be a better place to go. Staff checked me in quickly and notified me on time. Jeremy and his crew are the best! The price for an oil change & tire rotation was unbelievable!! Less than a hundred dollars??? I mean, c'mon!! Can't beat that anywhere else. And they used full synthetic (according to my print out, LOL) and topped off all my fluids. Their customer service and great/reasonable pricing will keep me coming back everytime. Thank you Jeremy & Staff!

I had high hopes for this auto shop. My visit started out great. But they disappointed me in the…read moreend. First, I want to acknowledge the good things about my experience. Although they didn't take appointments, I did not have to wait for my car to be looked at when I got to the shop. My car was assessed within 30-45 minutes. For the most part in the beginning my interaction with everyone was positive and the work that was done was completed satisfactorily. I interacted mainly with two service advisors. The first service advisor at the front desk took my information and I told him what I wanted done to my vehicle. I told him that I wanted the under carriage of my car to be assessed for any damages and to see if and how the undercover could be repaired/replaced. This advisor told me that once my car was on the lift, the mechanic would assess the vehicle for any damages to the undercarriage and would also generally look over the vehicle for any other issues at no charge. I also asked for them to call me as soon as my car was on the lift so that the mechanic could point out any damages he may come across and so I could ask the mechanic questions before anything was done to the vehicle. The advisor agreed to my request and I had a seat. Now this is where things went downhill. I was expecting the advisor to call me when my car was on the lift. However when an advisor came to notify me about the status of my vehicle, he told me that the mechanic had already lifted the vehicle, looked over the vehicle and repaired the undercover. The advisor that let me know the status of my car was not the advisor that did my initial intake. I told this second advisor that I was supposed to have been called when the car was on the lift so that I could be there to see what damages were identified prior to any repairs. This was to include the undercover. They did not even give me a quote for the repair prior to the repair and I had specific questions on certain areas on the undercarriage that I wanted to point out to the mechanic. The initial advisor was near the new advisor and did not say a word. The second advisor kept reiterating that there was no damage to the vehicle. When I got to where my car was, it was already on the ground, the second advisor told the mechanic to lift the vehicle to show me what was done. I could not see any thing underneath the cover. But I observed that there was no extensive damage to the undercover and the advisor pointed out that just a few of screws/bolts needed to be replaced. When I got back to the register I told the service advisor that I did not intend for them to do the repairs before I saw and agreed to that service. When I got to the register they gave me quotes for other recommended services and charged me for the reattaching the undercover. Rather than acknowledging the error he rudely asked if I wanted them to undo the work that was done. The initial intake advisor again was standing nearby and did not say anything. I went ahead and paid for the work. I also had to ask the mechanic for my keys. The mechanic eventually found them in passenger side of the car. My issue with the shop was its failure to follow through on my request as agreed upon and to provide good customer service until the end. This is just as important to me in ensuring trust and long term customer relationships as providing good workmanship. I will not be returning to this shop

I had gotten my a/c fixed here and my tire pressure sensor so I trusted them to replace the oil…read morepressure sensor even tho I was still having issues with my tire pressure sensor I knew they warrantied it and Andy was a nice guy so I had trust. I shouldn't have. I drop my car off in October. Oil pressure sensor, manifold was replaced. I pick up the vehicle drive 8 miles home and it stops working. Starts making a loud noise. I call Andy he's responsive tows the Jeep back to him. Calls days later I need new lifters. I'm confused cause I just replaced them. I call the dealer. Send the tech my video. They inform me they only did the one side but said "any smart mechanic knows you need oils to lubricate the lifters". I'm confused which will be worked out later but call Andy approve the work. He calls back "we can't stop your engine from knocking you're going to need a engine Jeep engines are just crap". I'm FLOORED cause that engine was not giving me any problems. He calls back with prices that are way more then every other estimate I got but the dealer. Then tells me the engine is on back order but he can get it and will discount the $1800 I've already paid but that still put me into a $6500-$7500 price range for an engine. Additionally because they had to get a used engine they wouldn't warranty their work. WHAT! I lose trust plus I'm buying a house all my money is tied up and my credit cards so I have my car towed from the shop. We're now in November. Andy goes through a holiday and explains to me how during dinner conversations his family is telling him how he shouldn't give me a discount for the engine and he's so nice. Well at the gives me a full refund when I pick up my car and now I know why he was so willing. When they replaced my oil pressure sensor and manifold and gave me my cat Brandon didn't do the oil change. My vehicle was bone dry no oil. When I picked up the vehicle Brandon was a bit distracted with his conversation to his peer about a date and "what women brought to the table" I lie to you not cause I was a bit uncomfortable in the waiting area able to hear this but I wanted my car. When I drove the 8 miles home I blew the lifters because NO OIL like the dealer cryptically said "any mechanic knows oil lubricates the lifters". I didn't get it. A repair estimated around $700 ended up costing me $6000 due to negligence not on my part. I'm disappointed cause I thought I was really going to like this shop. He's the first person to touch my Jeep that wasn't the dealer. I had new lifters and new transmission and their negligence cost me way more than what I paid for the engine. I had to rent a car for over a month. I'm almost out $10k due to their error and all they said was sorry heres your money back.

He provided a quote of everything I needed done. I dropped my car off and when I got the call to confirm the issue, Andy provided recommendations for other issues he found. It wasn't anything that I didn't already know I needed. I had quite a bit of work needing to be done but Andy recommended the most urgent. He didn't try to hustle me to get everything done at once. When I picked my car up he showed me the old parts and the reason they needed to be replaced. This has to be one of these best experiences I've ever had with a car shop. I'll definitely be back.

I called and asked about pricing. The cost (whether jump start or battery) was reasonable. Mr. Ayala said he'd pick up the battery on the way just in case - having gotten the information I had on hand for my make and model, and my equipment preference if it came to that. He also said that I wouldn't be charged for the battery if it wasn't needed - regardless of him making this outlay. As promised, he showed up about 45 minutes after our call - this is with him driving up to Baltimore. When he arrived, Mr. Ayala looked at the battery, said it was 2 years old, no corrosion - relatively young for the equipment. That it probably would be just a jump start (I had left the car sitting for too long). He then promptly walked me through the steps to jump it, while attaching the cords to the outlets. The car started. Then he had me turn it off without the cords attached to check that it still started, which it did. The service was $85. Perfectly reasonable. Convenient and timely, as well, and I found him to be pleasant and knowledgeable.
