They have refused to release my funds for a full eleven days(11). That is so far it has been eleven days(11). From April 01, 2022 through today, April 11, 2022. I can not pay my rent, I can not purchase my necessary medication. I am facing eviction and at a minimum, penalty and late fees on ALL of my necessary transactions every single month. Who should pay these fees??? Not me, I was ready, willing and attempting to do so on April 01, 2022, but Comerica had refused to release said funds! Do they care? Apparently not! I have been calling, emailing, sending faxes,taking every option I am aware for a resolve. Is there an attorney available here? REVIEW OF THE CHINO HILLS BRANCH: Been a member for over 5 years I was so happy that they recently did a remodel and upgraded the ATM machines. They also got rid of all the amazing people that worked there they were all so helpful and friendly and replaced them with a lazy unfriendly, unhelpful staff that hides in their offices and does everything they can to not help customers out. As a matter of fact they go out of their way to not help anyone. I had to drive all the way to the Ontario California branch to get the customer service I was used to at the Chino Hills branch. Not sure his name but the male manager that works there is AWFUL ! He is lucky I didn't catch his name it would have been mentioned in this review. Can't understand why this location hasn't been reviewed more. From the first time I walked through the door three years ago I haven't had anything but awesome service from this location. It reminds me of the small town banks I went to when I was much younger. This is also one of the few banks that still has free checking. On at least three occasions Erica C. has going above and beyond when I've had questions or problems with my account. The entire staff is great but Erica really stands out. just for her alone. The HB location is pretty good as well. The Tustin Ranch location had some learning to do, they only get one star because they were any good at telling be what they won't do. Chino hills and Erica are great but I will miss her because she will probably be promoted on. read more

This is how a bank should treat their customers. After having a terrible experience with my former bank ( banking for 13 years) I can to the Comerica Branch and sat with the branch Manager Sinthia Canales. She helped serve my needs and listened to me with open ears. I applied for a New Credit Card and a few days later got fantastic news that I was accepted. I also opened a new account with Marcos Castro who was easy going and professional. The tellers Danielle, Lexi and Elli are awesome. They are an asset to the branch. They are knowledgeable and always a pleasure to work with. Each and every time I come to the bank I am greeted by name and welcomed. This is the first time in decades that I truly feel good about keeping my money with a Bank. They are true professionals. This is the first time I dont feel like the cattle in line but I feel like a family member. Elda is always there to help me when I have questions about my transaction history. All in all I can honestly say that Comerica Bank is like the olden days. The employees are knowledgeable, friendly and always courteous. This is the first time in my banking life that I can say that I am ONE satisfied banking customer. Thanks Comerica for meeting all of my banking needs. I am fairly new to this bank. I left Bofa after getting tired of the lies and horrible customer support. I came to Comerica, spoke with Marcos and let him know some of the issues I was tired of at Bofa. He was pretty straight forward with me and I gave them a shot. I went on vacation for a couple of weeks and just when I came back my phone service charge wouldn't go through. I was confused because I hadn't used any of my many business accounts in over 4 months. Turns out I had a recurring charge that was still active -- my fault. However, I was disturbed to find out that Chino Hills Comerica had charged me $124 in overdraft fees during those couple of weeks, throwing my account deep into the red. Included in that they took it upon themselves to transfer money from a non-affiliated account which was 3rd party escrowed. I was pissed off to say the least. When I put my money in to these accounts I got some warm, wonderful phone calls from the Bank Manager, Theresa, to check on me and my business and to find out why I wasn't using the account that often. And now, when a phone call or email would have alerted me while I was traveling, I got nothing. Instead they faked a phone approval (says so on my statement -- I never spoke to them) to transfer money (no approval was given) and stole $124 from a separate account. DO NOT BUSINESS BANK WITH COMERICA. DO NOT OPEN MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS WITH THEM. read more

Exceptional service. I met Marcos at a networking event and initially was skeptical. I don't like to change banks with my company accounts but after meeting Marcos and his following up with me a couple of times I thought I'd give it a try, first with my personal accounts. He never pressured but was confident and convincing in a calm manner. I've been turned off by aggressive "sales type" people at banks and his demeanor was refreshing and professional. I convinced my husband and business partner as well after they both met him. It's been a few months now and the service can't be beat! It wasn't a one and done approach with him and his team.
