We had them do an A/C tuneup at our home and the tech they sent was polite and knowledgeable and told us everything looked great. They also have HVAC annual plans, which includes two free tune-ups each year with filter replacement. They do plumbing as well and if you sign up for that annual plan, you get a yearly hot water heater flush. I had no idea you were supposed to do this! No wonder our last tank failed right after the warranty had expired (literally within six months). Their customer service is top notch and they communicate REALLY well! We received both a text AND a phone call when our tech was on the way. It included their picture so that we could be sure we were dealing with the right person. As others have said, stop looking elsewhere and just call A&T!!!

We needed to have a kitchen faucet replaced. Suntech Heat & Air & Plumbing installed the wrong…read morekitchen faucet. I requested a brushed stainless two-handle faucet (the exact replacement I'd picked). They arrived with a chrome single-handle model instead. They also missed two appointment times. The install itself took about 40 minutes, with no plumbing problems or leaks discovered (straight replacement). Overall cost was $670 including a ~$70 faucet, which I felt excessive given the simple job and the mistakes. I'd used Suntech before during Memorial Day weekend for a clogged toilet when my regular plumber wasn't available. The plumber cleared it in ~30 minutes for $179. Because of that prior experience, I trusted them with this faucet replacement, but the wrong faucet, missed appointments and excessive pricing made the experience disappointing. I called the manager to address the wrong faucet and late/ missed appointments; I didn't feel the concerns were meaningfully resolved and the explanation was mostly general overhead. I wouldn't use them again.

I asked them to come back out to give another look. They agreed and we scheduled a time for them to come back. They no call no showed me the day of the appointment. I contacted them the next day and asked to get back on the schedule. They said sure and i never heard from them again. Not a great way to spent $321 pricey service with low quality results.

Superhero heat and air came after hours on wed. to fix my ac unit. He was there less than an hour…read moreand told us that the board with the resistor was bad. They called me the next day ( thurs)and told me that locke supply and Johnston didn't have the part. My husband drove to locke supply and purchased the part. ( you know the one that locke didn't have) Superhero came back out on Fri and spent 6 hours fixing our ac. He even called his supervisor out to help. When they left they told my husband a breaker was bad. My husband ended up changing out 3 breakers because changing the 1 they said didn't fix our unit so he tried the other 2. I called out a different company who came out and in less than an hour had my ac unit up and running. I was told by the new company that Superhero wired a wire wrong and was grounding out the unit.

Normally, we're the kind of people who try to fix most of our problems on our own before calling someone, but my husband was out of town for a business trip all week, and I didn't feel comfortable trying to diagnose things on my own. I knew I couldn't wait 6 days without AC. So I started doing research. The first guy I called gave me a long list of things that probably needed to be replaced, and gave me a quote of around $400. I gave him my concerns about him diagnosing the AC unit over the phone without even looking at it. He became very rude and told me he could give me an in person quote on Wednesday. I told him to make me an appointment for Wednesday and decided to keep looking around for other options. I'm pretty sure I called at least 15 other places. Several of them quoted me around the same price, or couldn't make it to look at the unit until several days later. I actually ended up finding Climate Care on complete accident while I was looking for a phone number to another place, and I truly believe that God was on my side that day. I was extremely annoyed by the time I called, and I know that was definitely heard over the phone but they were friendly with me the entire time, and he told me he could come look at my unit that day, within the next hour and a half if I was available and give me a quote based on what they found. My prayers had been answered. Brian (I think?) showed up when he was supposed to, and immediately started looking at my unit. Within 15 minutes, he had a diagnosis ready. When he came back he explained the problem to me in simple and matter-of-fact kind of way. I run into service guys all the time (especially in auto shops) who think that because you're a woman you just won't understand the situation, or you don't know what you're really looking for. I did not feel that way at all talking to the guy, and it was a serious breath of fresh air. I was more than prepared for him to tell me that I needed to replace this long list of parts and it was going to cost me over $400. He told me I only needed to replace one part, quoted me around $80 and had the problem fixed for me around 2 hours later. He even took a little bit of extra time to clean up around and inside the unit (at no extra cost to me). I was very pleased with my service and I'm convinced that my AC is working better now than it ever did. I will definitely call them first with any issue I have in the future. TLDR: Was quoted $400 and several days wait to get started on the work for the first company I called. I found Climate Care on accident, and have never been so well taken care of. They were extremely nice, and looked at my unit that day and gave me a quote of around $80. They went above and beyond to make sure my unit was working properly and even cleaned around and inside the unit to make sure that the AC was working 100%.

But check out my idea: I'll open my own company and charge everyone $99 per visit and quote ridiculously high fees to scare them. So I'll collect my $99 and net $89 per client net of costs. If someone hires me, I'll just subcontract and still make a profit thanks to the high quote. In a couple of months, I'll be able to put my face on TV and get an AI receptionist. The only thing missing will be a twin brother, but with all the money I'll make, I'll just clone myself. Who's in?!
