I've always had an extreme fear of visiting a dentist; a family member died in the dentist chair when I was a child (illogical, as she didn't actually die due to dentistry, but it scarred me.) Anyway, this fear resulted in the fact that I hadn't been to a dentist for over 25 years!! I only mention this with the hope that it will encourage someone else in the same boat to take action. Two weeks ago, I finally had had enough with the pain that a wisdom tooth was causing. I bit the bullet and scheduled a next day appointment for a checkup and an extraction. Dr. Orr was very understanding about my anxiety and the embarrassing state of my dental health. They took a complete set of x-rays, discussed a game plan and went ahead with the extraction (painless, by the way, with no later complications.) I returned today, 11 days later, to have the other wisdom tooth extracted, 1st half of a deep cleaning and several composite fillings...all again with no pain and Dr. Orr again. I'm home with no pain and feeling much relieved. I'll be back next week to complete the deep cleaning and additional fillings and have ZERO anxiety about it. Thanks to you all! read more

My appointment today was horrible. I called the office in the morning and was told they took walk-in's until 11:30am. I had an appointment scheduled with my healthcare provider at 10:00am and arrived at Comfort Dental at 11:15am. I was in a tremendous amount of pain. I was told the dentist had stopped taking walk-ins but asked them to check to see if he could see me because I believed I had an infection. My dentist agreed. When I was called back and seated in the chair a woman I didn't know proceeded to harass me because I hadn't seen the endodontist I was referred to. She never introduced herself . The rudeness was shocking. My dentist came in and took over helping me get the medicines I needed to treat the infection. He is a great person but I am not sure I will go back there. read more

Harbor william the dentist blue eyes nice personality who listen to his patience I had ny second molar extracted it was growing in crooked which should been pulled .He made sure i was numb and took it out without any issue I highly recommend this dentist 10 starts staff are awesome I arrived early was leaving at the original time i was supposed to arrive .Saw doctor ORR really didn't get a good feel but he was ok gave me something close to penicillin which i am highly allergic to but I had sense enough to get Benadryl daughter went to dental assistant school and she watches out for her momma read more

Horrible customer service. The dentists have not returned my phone call about a complaint since they don't have an office manager. They scheduled an appointment with my sister and when she called to confirm a day before they said it wasn't there and it was her fault not theirs. I had just moved to Denver and was looking for a convenient location for a new dentist, so (without asking opinions of others yet) I tried this Comfort Dental location. It was a completely frustrating process. I set up an appointment online and got there 20 minutes early to fill out all paperwork, so that my appointment would begin on time. 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I was called back into a room by myself to sit for another 30 minutes (in silence). After that, they said it would be a couple more minutes. 10 minutes after that, I finally got into a chair, and I didn't even get to speak to anyone until minutes after that. It took me 2 hours to just get x-rays (not even a cleaning). Needless to say, I'm transferring else. read more

I loved my visit from start to finish. I made an appointment to have some overdue work done on my mouth/teeth. The entire staff was great. Tiffany, a Dental Assistant, was simply the best - she was polite, professional, and made me feel at ease with everything. Dr. Alldredge was knowledgeable and professional, he answered all of my concerns and questions to my satisfaction. The two of them worked well together. Dental and pleasant are two words that don't usually go well together but my experience at this Comfort Dental was truly a pleasant surprise. I have been a Comfort Dental patient for many years- but at a different office on the other side of town. My guy retired, and then I moved out here to Aurora. Felt some sensitivity and stopped into this office, which is nearby. The dentist assigned to me is excellent, and the assistants all seem to have a very soft touch and are very personable. My first 2 appts were long hard slogs thru a dental torture chamber (no fault of theirs), but the work had to be done. I don't know about some of these other reviews, I think they were confused about where they went. I don't want to give this place any stars at all! They filled a filling without telling me and then charged my insurance, they didn't remove all of the cavities in my teeth but put the silver fillings over it and the cavities continued to grow and now i have to get every single one of the fillings replaced completely which is going to cost me over 5 grand! not to mention it has only been a year and I have been in pain ever since! I have to get 2 crowns and a root canal, they never mentioned that I had periodontal disease so now i have to treat that as well. They also told me I had 5 or 6 other fillings that had to be done and went to a different place and they are just calcification spots that can be somewhat restored. My mother got a crown and 2 fillings here and they scuffed her crown and broke it so she got a severe infection in the tooth and had to get it removed and the 2 fillings cracked her teeth. My brother was told he had 10 other cavities when this new place told him he only has 2 and the others are calcification spots. This place is a rip off! If you go here you will end up paying for it later. read more

This has been my dentist since 2014 and I admit I have been to other dentist however this one is my home base due to the location and primary Dr. Orr whom is awesome and I would highly recommend but the front desk and warmth or customer service or lack thereof is where my review comes from. I know my care is in good hands with the provider but his front desk girl Sally isn't very courteous to say the least. I wouldn't know if she is front desk as they typically don't even ever have anyone at that area in the front but since she was the greeter today for my quick visit I'll have to assume she was the front desk person today, as she assumed with my interaction some things with me as well. She just has a very just unwelcoming demeanor. I needed to update my paperwork and provid insurance but before I could do the providing of insurance information she bloats out " so you don't have Insurance" but not so much in an asking demeanor more like an informing situation. Like as to tell me something I wouldn't know or didn't know or a FYI. Very rude. I had to correct her and let her know I have new information and she was like well since that's the case you can fill out this paperwork. I questioned if I had to do that due to just being in recently but she was so eager to be right about something going through my file rudely. So I just informed her that it wasn't that serious of an issue if needed I'll fill it out. She just isn't very people oriented and should not be doing any sort of face to face interactions with customers at all. I really feel like she could have had more curt in her disposition and being more polite and informative instead of assuming and eager to be right to prove me wrong. I'm hus not really fancy to Sally but I'll still continue my care here because of the provider. read more

This was the WORST experience I have EVER had in ANY medical office. The staff are poorly trained and the dentist I worked with took NO time to offer any professional advise regarding my dental issues. I was not properly examined on my 1st visit, which cost me even more time and money when I went back a 2nd time. I am disgusted by the lack of professionalism I was shown in this office. Where is the zero star on yelp !! That's what this place needs. Worst service and inexperienced dentists. The front desk is horrible to deal with ! We have being going to this comfort dental for the lasts few years for my mom's dental care. I have witnessed one tooth extraction and have seen with my own eyes a recently graduated dentist struggle to pull her tooth out. This left her in a horrible pain and resulted in dental infection as well. Why we kept going I don't know ‍ we found a new dental office and wanted to transfer her medical records to the new dentist. We went there in person and we were asked to sign a release of information paperwork, which we did. The. We were told that all they needed was the new dentals place's email address. We called back with the email address and were given the run around and then told that we need to pay $20 !!!! We asked for what? We were never told that before. I asked for the office manager. She was rude and didn't waste time to tell me that " they have the right to charge us " for our own medical record!!!! STAY AWAY !!!! read more

Ok Guys this Comfort Dental is the Bomb Dot Com. I went today for Emergency Dental Repair due to Ill Dental Work done at the Montebello Family Health Center at 4685 Peoria St, Denver, Colorado .. Thanks Obama Care.. I cant even get a Good Density with qualified skills to do work on people that want to get a tooth extracted from the mouth. They cracked my other tooth due to her not knowing how to extract they tooth that I wanted to be removed. I would have went to jail if I would have when back to complain about the work she done .. Now that I remembered that she told me the tooth she hit was fine and was not cracked well days later the tooth she hit with the tools was cracked a tooth came out my mouth this is how I found Comfort Dental and my sister told me to go here due her have issues with getting her teeth fixed by qualified caring people.. she loved this place and I arrived shortly after my conversation with her. A t first I was scared and I DONT LIKE PAIN.. AT ALL.. My dentist was a man named Dr. Orr and my nurse was Monica . Let me say that I told them about my issues and they got on the problem right away this was a evening issues and I was surprised that they were still in a caring mood . Dr. Orr was very nice and can Hum a Tune also he had a lot of brown Facial hair he reminded me of a huggable build a bear from the Cherry Creek Mall... LOL Monica I can tell she has kids because she was very attentive and willing to get all the nasty spit out of my mouth without say Gross...lol.. The girls here are a Awesome bunch and I would tell anyone to come be honest about what's going on and tell them if your scared and they will help you as much as they can . Tiffany and Monica have great personality's and made me laugh after the surgery was complete my mouth was numb from the Medicine but I laugh any ways .. Tell Dr. Orr what you need and want and they will help.. This is my Dental Office as long as I live in Aurora Colorado and I will longer recommend Denver Health Care Systems EVER AGAIN..
