I have had extensive dental work and value my teeth. There is a major bridge and other work. I do NOT have periodontal disease. I was told I could not get a regular cleaning, based on the hygienists evaluation of periodontal disease. I was going to pay $275 for a special cleaning. I do NOT have periodontal disease. I then asked if I could get a regular cleaning and was told I would need to come back. That is what I set up the appointment for! Bottom line, I either took 'their' cleaning and paid the money OR would have to come back for a regular cleaning (that I scheduled the same day). How does this work? I was extremely uncomfortable and told the office manager I didn't want another appointment and that I would be going back to my regular dentist. I walked out. My husband will not be returning either. I purchased additional dental insurance and will go back to our previous dentist.

They filed two claims to my insurance requesting a total of $1,069. This amount for a cleaning? I was also told that I would get an estimate to fix and fill a couple of cracks in one tooth. The tooth did not bother me at all. I never received that estimate. I am more shocked at the attempt to get an absurd amount from my insurance company for a simple cleaning. I cancelled my next appointment and went with a different practice. The office is need of some upgrades too. Equipment and furniture seemed outdated, except for the panoramic x-ray machine. I suppose that's why the hefty claim?

I went to the first one and they overfilled me by $220, based on the quote provided. When I went in for the second cleaning I brought up the over charge which they said they would correct. Instead of correcting, they reversed the full charge of my 2nd cleaning and then refilled it a few weeks later. I went into the office to settle the issue and the supervisor said I only owed $310 with the adjustment, which to me didn't seem right but I just wanted to end. Later on I received a bill for $288 for the same services, showing 90 days past due. I went up to the office several times with promises to call me and they never did. I called and talked to supervisor and he said he would review and call me back, he never did. Now I have a final bill with debt collector warning. These people are incompetent and clueless. I am moving to a different dentist.

Let's see how this is resolved now that the 4/13 visit was a disaster. Don't send an email. They are ignored. Every billing question, expect this response. "I sent that to my Billing supervisor" Without concern or eye contact. Totally different vibe from 3 years ago. Dr. Stanton's reception was on point! It was pretty deep and touched nerves, so he also needed a pulpotomy (sp?), which seemed like a big undertaking. Dr. Varley and Lauren were able to take care of everything in the same appointment and kept my son very comfortable and calm the whole time. They explained things to him as needed, answered all of my questions and made this a very positive experience for all of us. This evening, Dr. Varley called to check on my son. When I arrived at 3:30 PM, I was asked what I was there for, even though it should have been obvious from my appointment. After waiting 35 minutes, the dentist finally came in--not to apologize, but to guilt-trip me because there supposedly wasn't enough time to complete the fillings due to their own scheduling mistake. Instead of taking responsibility or offering a reasonable solution, I was made to feel like the inconvenience was somehow my fault. At that point, I told them I'd make it easy on everyone and take my business elsewhere. As I was leaving, I requested copies of my X-rays from my previous visit so I could find a competent dentist. The same front desk employee then gave me attitude and informed me they "legally have 30 days" to send them. That response perfectly summed up the level of customer service at this office. From start to finish, this was one of the most unprofessional healthcare experiences I've had. Poor communication, wasted time, no accountability, and rude staff. If you value your time and expect basic professionalism, avoid this office and find a dentist that respects its patients.

I made an appointment on 25 June 2026 to have my chipped tooth repaired, and when I did so the…read moreexpectation that was set by the receptionist was that if the damage is minor, the procedure could be done on the same day. On the day of my appointment, I arrived early as requested by the office staff, and my appointment started late. After the hygienist took my blood pressure and an x-ray of my damaged tooth, I waited for six or seven more minutes for the doctor to arrive. Upon her tardy arrival, I was informed by Dr. Kwon that an additional doctor would be monitoring the consultation, to which I agreed. Dr. Kwon briefly examined my damaged tooth and concluded that the damage to it was minimal (20% of the back of the top portion of the tooth missing). However, I was told that due to short staffing the filling that would be required couldn't be completed that day, and the receptionist told me after the consultation concluded that the next available appointment wasn't until fifteen days later (10 July). I reminded her that I would have to live with a jagged tooth until then, and the receptionist's unempathetic and seemingly unconcerned reply was that 10 July was the next available appointment. Today's visit was a complete waste of my time, after having rearranged my morning work schedule to fulfill the appointment. No doubt, however, that despite not completing the work, my insurance and I will be billed for this appointment. Quite the racket. If the office was so "short-staffed", then there wouldn't have been another fully-qualified dentist observing Dr. Kwon. On the contrary, if one doctor is observing the other, it would seem that they have a staff surplus. Further, the receptionist did a poor job of setting an accurate expectation as to when the procedure could be completed; i.e., I was told that a relatively minor procedure could be completed same day, yet was sent away after being told they couldn't provide a minor tooth filling for another 1/2 month. It's amateur hour at this dentist office. I've lived with it since moving to the area in 2020 because the staff is polite and my dental needs have been minimal. But after today I won't return to Cornerstone Dental in Parker, CO for my dental needs; there are plenty of other, more capable and more professional dentist offices in the area. Unless you are desperate and have no other options, I suggest you avoid this place.
