I went to Comfort Dental last week for an emergency appointment. Although the dentist was handling multiple appointments during the procedure, I never felt like his attention was elsewhere when he was treating my concerns. He was professional and compassionate, making sure I understood my options in both the short term and long term - I also really appreciated their transparency regarding price structure, and signed up for their gold plan insurance to recieve discounted services since I have no dental coverage through my employer and absolutely will need follow-up. Dr. Yates and his team were pretty great. I came in to replace a filling, and they worked on my tooth until it looked as natural as possible. Even after I thought I was satisfied with how it looked, they worked on it more to make it even better. I really appreciate perfectionists working on my teeth. He also found a couple glaring problems with the rest of my teeth, that other dentists never bothered to look at. He then proceeded to work with me in-depth to figure out a plan for fixing all of my teeth and how to get everything covered by my insurance (no dr ever works with you on the insurance side too). Dr. Yates explained anything technical to me well, made me feel comfortable, made me feel like I could trust him. I did trust him, and my mouth thanks him for it. Also, I can't help but notice that he mentioned that he just bought this office, so all of these yelp reviews look like they may be talking about the previous, like, regime of dentists, I don't think it applies to the dentists that are there now. read more

People love leaving bad reviews, which I think is unfair, so I decided to leave a good one because I had a great experience today. I recently switched insurances so I had to switch dentists. For some unknown reason I expected that Comfort Dental would not be high quality, but I could not have been more wrong. Dr. Hamilton was amazing and kind as were his assistants, and my cleaning was quick and painless-even getting my cavity filled didn't suck. They were on time with my appointment and very professional. I highly recommend (in case I didn't make that clear with the five stars). read more

They fit me in on Saturday morning to repair my broken veneer. I had broken my veneer on Friday night, leaving on Sunday for 10 day European vacation. Dr Yates met me in a private room, looked it over and had the assistant repair my tooth. I am a long ago retired Dental Hygienist, the procedure was easy, was done beautifully and very quick. My smile is back temporarily and when I return I will get it permanently repaired. Thank you! read more

I was drawn to this place because they were able to see me that day and I was going out of the country. My old dentist had not extended the emergency visit courtesy. The work done on this emergency visit was for a filling that eventually fell out a few months later. At my next visit, I had to wait for an hour in the chair to be seen, although plenty of assistants stopped by to gawk at the visible cavity in my mouth, with very little respect for me as a patient. After telling the dentist I have sensitivity to drilling and need lots of numbing, I had to get numbed up 2 times and I still FELT the drilling. For some reason I went back to get my teeth cleaned, the assistant did not let me rinse between the upper and lower teeth, and once i got to swish water around to rinse, he did not rinse enough. He pretended he was like the dentist. Half way through my cleaning he found a replacement so he could leave early, and asked me if I felt rushed because, I quote: "I was not rushing." Next, the dentist comes in tells me I have a cavity without even poking around at my teeth. He cleans off tartar on the bottom teeth and literally scraped off some of my tooth. I have never had a dentist have to ask me if my teeth were smooth (which they were not). read more

DO NOT GO TO COMFORT DENTAL.NEVER EVER EVER. I went there to get a cavity filled. I had insurance. They ended up telling me I had three cavities. And sold me some gum disease mouth wash that I did not need for $20. (This mouth wash stains your teeth yellow- beware) But somehow three cavity fillings cost me approximately $700 which I paid out of my own pocket. Now that being said, I also had insurance which gave me $500 towards any work I needed to have done. So you tell me, how does three cavities cost over $1200 dollars? I should have paid at MOST maybe $200 out of my own pocket. FURTHERMORE when I asked if I could receive a 10% discount for paying my bill right then and there in full ($687) they said "NO. Only if you get the crowns we suggested." So even though I paid IN FULL on the spot for the work THEY DID DO, they wouldn't give me a discount because I didn't get the work done that they recommended. ALSO. A friend of mine went there and they found 3 cavities somehow, on her perfect teeth, making her believe she needed fillings in all of them when a second opinion said NO. My point is... COMFORT DENTAL IS A SCAM. I beg you not to go there. read more

Went to comfort dental for my yearly checkup and cleaning. I had a horrible experience all the way through. First they took my x-rays then an assistant proceeded to do my cleaning. She never once asked to suck the blood out of my mouth, I only realized this after swallowing old tooth build up and tons of blood, when I realized what was happening I had to ask to get up and spit in the sink every couple of minutes. It was also the roughest cleaning I have ever had. I left with a sore neck from all the yanking. While I was there they tried to tell my that since I have extra build up they will have to use a special tool, luckily I asked how much extra it was something like... $400 extra and outside of my insurance coverage-for A TEETH CLEANING! After I nicely refused the extra money for the cleaning an assistant told me I have 7 cavities. My wife also came with me and they told her she has 4. They also told me one of my teeth might need a root canal. So we scheduled a second appointment. My wife and I got in the car and were both of the same opinion that it was a horrible experience and seemed very fishy. We came on yelp and saw all the similar horror stories. Before going back we decided to get a second opinion. When we went in to get our x-rays they charged us like $60 after we had already paid for them and they explained that they can legally do this, what a rip-off. My wife went to pay and they said to come back as it takes 24 hours to make a copy. I went in the next day and they couldn't find them and told me my wife had come to get them already. My wife had left town that day and I knew that this was impossible. I told them again that no my wife did not pick them up, they said no she did, sorry. I asked them to print another copy, after going back and forth with them and their bad attitude they finally agreed to print another copy. Within 20 minutes they had me a duplicate. What happened to 24 hours? Scammers and liars all around. Here is the kicker. Second opinion: I have only 3 cavities, no need for a root canal. My wife, 0 cavities. These people should be out of business for malpractice. "Best of Boulder" I don't think so. read more

Today he talked to me for 15 minutes just about my toothpaste concerns, and I can tell he is a very genuine person which means a lot to me while choosing a dentist. I've been going there for over 3 years, and always would leave a little disappointed, but this last time was a slap on both cheeks. First, they ask me to pay upfront for examinations and X-rays. Second they quote a high and full price for the fallen out filling that was done in this office. I'm already sitting in the chair all propped up and after given the prices I am asked to go back to the front and pay first!!!! Unbelievable. Another very annoying thing about this office is that you sit in the chair for so long, while a doctor treats 2-3 patients at the same time, and most of the work is done by the assistant. Maybe that's why the filling are falling out. Don't recommend it at all, unless you like to spend 2 hours in a chair waiting to be treated. read more

I have mixed feelings about Comfort Dental, but I don't think it merits all the horrible reviews they've received. Overall to sum things up, I think the actual dental work is good. Dr. Brahn (I'm probably mis-spelling his name) is personable and attentive, and I think he does good work. It's some of the other ways the office is run that is a little array. I first went in for a cleaning and x-rays, and the staff was very nice and attentive. I was also drawn to make an appointment there from their "Best of Boulder" awards. I have always arrived for my appointment on time and never had to wait long. The doctor met with me once the tech finished the x-rays and did the polishing for the cleaning. He came and finished the rest. I had a filling that was bothering me and he suggested a crown. He took the time to explain my options and reasons why he thought it was needed. They had me schedule another appointment to receive a quote and the impressions if I wanted to proceed. When I returned for the quote the dentist met me in another room and also reviewed the price breakdown. I agreed, and we began with the dental work. At first the assistant that was working with him was a little bit clumsy and it made me uncomfortable. Unfortunately I don't remember any staff names. She ended up leaving to work elsewhere and the tech that continued with me was very good. Dr. Brahn was really good at injecting the Novocain, I hardly felt any pain at all. Every time I have come he has been really friendly and makes an effort to actually remember something about you or your previous conversation. The dental work was pretty intense and lasted about an hour and half, but when it was finished the tech showed me to the exit and told me I was free to go. I was told the filling would take about 10 business days and they would call me when it's in. Dr. Brahn did call me at the end of the day to check up and make sure I was feeling OK because he hadn't seen me when I left. After I left I was immediately called by one of the ladies up front that I hadn't paid so they wouldn't be able to place the order for my filling. Um, hello, shouldn't you have stopped me before I left? That was annoying- so I had to call back, explain the situation to the girl that answered who was confused, and then pay over the phone. Talk about miscommunication- why'd did the tech tell me I'm free to go and not show me up to the front to check-out? I waited for a call that my filling was going to come in to schedule an appointment to return. I waited about 3 weeks and no call! I had to call them and the girl at the front says "Hold on a sec, let me check... Oh your filling just came in today." Yea right. Somehow I find that weird and hard to believe. 1. Why did it take 3 weeks to come in when you said it would be 10 business days? 2. Why did no one call me to tell me it was in and schedule an appointment? 3. Even if it did take three weeks, a courtesy call to keep me posted would have been ideal service. But no. So I had to squeeze in an appointment because I was leaving for a trip and worried that my temporary crown would fall out. When I returned to put in the permanent crown the tech was the one who primarily worked on me. Since they had to squeeze me in the doctors were pretty busy. The tech was great and everything went pretty smoothly. Dr. Brahn came at the end to do some last minute touches and then I was all done. Some things about Comfort Dental do not seem to be completely ironed out to me. I don't know if this is the first place I would suggest, but I probably will continue to to get my dental work there. read more

I have been here twice now for general exams, xrays and cleanings. Admittedly, I find myself at the assembly line dentists a fair amount because I don't have to wait a month for an appointments or worse, book 2 appointments, one for the exam and one for cleanings. I have insurance and everything has been routine preventative work, so no billing hassles so far. I have yet to wait excessively long, thankfully on my most recent visit lest I become ill from the nauseating jasmine air freshner. The dentist was a bit odd and it was unusual that they polished my teeth prior to scaling, but I can deal for 45 min in and out the door. read more

I will state that the staff (dentist, dental hygienist, staff who took my x-rays, and the secretary) were all professional, polite and overall did a 'good' job. The facility, equipment and their process is basically what bothered me. I will probably not return to this facility. I filled out the new patient paperwork. The waiting area is quite nice and comfortable and it did not take very long for the secretary to process my paperwork and call me back. I was taken to a very small room with two chairs and a table and pocket door. They closed me in this tiny room and told me the dentist would be on his way to meet me, kind of akward; I felt like I was in timeout. The dentist came in shortly and we spoke for about 120 seconds. Then I was escorted to my 'room.' This is a major are of complaint. The room is not a true room and everyone else there can hear you (and your medical info!!!) and people could even see you. The 'rooms' are really just about 8' by 8' segments partitioned off by some glorified cabinetry. This cabinetry does not extend the 8' length of the 'room' and does not reach up to the ceiling. You can literally see other patients with their mouths wide open. During my time there, I heard the questions, concerns and comments shared between patient and doctor of about 5 other individuals; there is NO privacy in this dental facility. The staffperson who took my X-rays was polite, professional, quick, sensitive to my needs and doing a good job with the equipment she had to work with. However, I am quite sure there is newer, less painful, quicker X-ray technology available and this facility is not using it. The process was lengthy and painful. The apparatuses they used elicited my gag reflex several times. It was really uncomfortable. 12 hours later, I can feel distinct sores on the bottom of my mouth where the apparatus dug into me. It hurts to drink beverages. Overall, my whole mouth is sore too. There were too many periods of waiting. I think you should wait in the waiting room, for a brief time before the hygienist sees you, then for a brief time before the Dr. sees you, and maybe once more before the hygienist finalizes and sends you away. Here, there was way more waiting and not necessarily brief periods. I waited in the waiting room, in the little room, for the x-ray taker, for the Dr. to look at the x-rays, for the hygienist to come, for the Dr. to look, then for the hygienist to come back and finish. That's SEVEN different waiting periods. The process should be much more seamless. My cleaning was fine, and I usually don't have many oral issues, so overall the care I received was OK, not great though, not memorable. The facility and their process was terrible. I am horrified about the lack of privacy and outdated technology/pain of the X-rays. I have raised sores on the floor of mouth, drinking beverages hurts, overall my whole mouth is sore. I did not receive the privacy I deserve and I heard other patients' medical conversations (and saw other patients who were in the patient chair [i.e. mouth open, laying back...] things that doors & walls are supposed to prevent from being seen when at a medical practice office) The staff was professional and nice. This is not a complaint directly about the staff, but still, I will not be returning. And... they did not give me a toothbrush at the end. A minor detail... but I've never gone to the dentist and not gotten a bag with toothbrush, mini-toothpaste and floss. read more

I'm moving soon and needed a cleaning in a jiffy. I picked Comfort Dental off a list on my insurance provider's website and they scheduled me for a few days later. Would I have gone there if I had read the yelp reviews first? Probably not. Jeez louise, people are losing it on here! Wow. Anyway, I arrived a bit early, was checked in a bit late for whatever reason--not a big deal, and soon thereafter I met Dr. Bernardy for a brief consult prior to my cleaning. He was polite, professional, and genuinely very nice. As were the other staff, I might add. Before I go any further, let me say that the reason I hastily picked "Comfort Dental" was because I am somewhat anxious about dental work (specifically any injections in my lower jaw. I need to HTFU, I know.) The name "Comfort Dental" made me think that my dental anxiety wouldn't be a problem. And in truth, I must not be very anxious anyhow because otherwise I would have scrupulously scoured the net and done reconnaissance were it such an issue. That's on me. As it happens, no: the facility doesn't particularly inspire "comfort". Yes: the actual dental facility proper (with the chairs and cleaning paraphernalia, etc.) is not a vision of splendor. Yes: here in Boulder, we'd all love to have mountain views in our dentist office, along with a solarium and a reflecting pool--and little dental bibs woven from organic hemp. I'm sure Dr. Bernardy would like to practice with state-of-the-art equipment in a world-class facility. And yes, it was somewhat disarming listening to the little non-English-speaking lady next to me (literally, I could see her) taking some serious dental work with the grit of Dustin Hoffman in Marathon Man. But you know what? Dr. Bernardy is--as you can find out online--a practicing dentist. He graduated dental school, he has his license, and he is a competent professional. The staff is trained. The facility is certified. This is what they do for their careers, 40 hours a week or more. And honestly, if having a more stripped-down, more economical service environment means that people without insurance or who are on a budget can get the dental care they need, then I say Comfort Dental's work is doubly as important as that of some shi-shi oral hygiene sanctuary in the foothills. The little non-English-speaking woman next to me? This might be the only place she can afford, and I'm glad she can go here, because she deserves to have clean and healthy teeth too. For these reasons, Comfort Dental, I salute you with four stars. Fight the good fight. I am in non-profit. I'm used to working with excellent professionals in mediocre surroundings. I am proud to serve people who are in need. I think we all need to drink a glass of Kombucha or Tension Tamer or whatever, and calm down. I have no cavities. My teeth got ex-rayed and cleaned. The experience was FINE. Life goes on. Is Comfort Dental the best name for the place? Okay, maybe not. Then again, MTV isn't the best name for "stupid channel featuring celebutantes and around-the-clock douchebaggery" but that doesn't seem to stop anyone from watching it. read more

I have not experienced any of the problems previously mentioned and this was a first time visit. I first saw Dr.Yates previously when he had a practice closer to where I live for over six years and then unfortunately he saw an opportunity elsewhere and left. I have been employed in Boulder for two years and in the course of life I made an appointment with my current dentist and found out Dr. Yates had returned and joined the Comfort Dental practice at 2400 Arapahoe. I feel he is a very competent professional and fortunate that myself and family can receive care. Every day, case, patient, situation is independent. read more

I've been going to Comfort Dental for years and every year when I have to google them to find their phone number, I see all the horrible reviews and im tempted to find a new dentist, but lo and behold, my insurance is only good there and I can't bother to pay full price somewhere else. But, every visit goes well. I've had numerous cleanings, one filling and two crowns. I never have to wait much, eveyone is friendly and I really have no complaints. I went to Comfort Dental, the only facility listed by my insurance provider. I got in right away, but that was about the last positive thing I can say about them. The assistant was terrible. She even lost count of which teeth she had x-rayed, doing one twice and one not at all. I had gone in for cold sensitivity and was told I had a cracked tooth with decay in it, and needed a crown. Dr Jeong ground out the decay saying she hoped the tooth didn't need a root canal, but we would know when I came back to get the crown applied. The assistant made the impression for the crown. Two weeks later when I came back I was happily no longer experiencing pain and was told I didn't need the root canal. The same assistant took the temporary crown off and tried to repeatedly fit the permanent crown on the tooth. Each time she flipped it from front to back, trying to figure out which direction it was suppose to face, the cold crown "Zinged" my bare and sensitive tooth root with a sharp pain. She did this to me about 5-6 times. Since, I still had a live root in my tooth it was unbearable. I can't believe she didn't know how bad it hurt because I yelled each time. Finally she had Dr Jeong came in, and the assistant proceeded to show her how the crown didn't fit correctly. (Zing) Dr Jeong then tried fitting the cold crown on me herself, Zinging me a few more times. Dr Jeong noticing the pain it caused me is the one who called it Zinging. I was in tears by this time. Since the crown didn't fit right it was sent back to the lab and I had another impression made of the tooth. The assistant then glued the temporary crown back on. During the process I heard a cracking noise. Dr Jeong checked things out at the end, and not say anything was wrong, I figuredthe cracking noise was just some old glue being removed. Two weeks later, I went back to get the second new crown set. By this point I was in pain again. I was told that a piece of the crown had broken off. Now, I knew what the cracking sound had been on my last visit. I had a different assistant fit the new crown on, showing me that you could place the crown on your tongue and warm it up, so it didn't hurt during the fitting. So, the 1st assisant and Dr Jeong just tortured me for no reason? There was a lot of grinding on the new crown both before and after it was set to get the bite correct, but they never succeeded. Eventually, the tooth started severely hurting.I went to the Comfort Dental across the street from work. I was given pain pills and antibiotics for an infection in the tooth. When the infection was gone I was happy to find that my old dentist has been added to my insurance and I went to him. He worked again on the bite, grinding down the high crown enough that it no longer hurt, but was bare metal, with no porcelain left on top. But, the crowning glory was that Dr Jeong had crowned a tooth that still contained decay, and by this time, I now needed a root canal and a new crown. I retrieved the x-rays from Comfort, because my insurance company would not cover any more xrays, and took them to the root canal specialist. He made note from Comforts x-rays of the decay under the crown. My current dentist also made note of the decay under the crown and was able to see it on the x-rays from Comfort Dental. Why couldn't Dr Jeong? Comfort Dental had milked my insurance company for every x-ray and procedure they could and I have no benefits left. The insurance company will not replace a crown for 10 years, so I can't even wait until next year to get it replace. With the root canal and the new crown I'm out about $2000 of my own money. Not to mention all the extra time, gas and pain to take care of one tooth. Do not go to Comfort Dental. Hock your good silver and go to a reputable dentist if you have to. read more

I recently visited their new North Boulder office as my dentist was closed on Friday afternoon. Dr. Coleman Eich was able to see me later that day and rescued me from a potential weekend of total discomfort! I was so thankful to have him promptly fix my tooth and practically for free. And how they talk to you on the phone....like you are best friends, with the slang, the "yeah" or the "we got you" ever hear of correct grammar???? For the love of God! What a Nightmare, never visit. A scam. I went for my comfrot dental appointment and left with the assistant doing a large part of the work. The assistant broke my tooth when she could not get the temporary crown off. After several visits and now a route canal on the tooth that did not need a root canal in the first place and lots of dollars later. I am suing them for malpractice. I suggest stay away. Think carefully about using this dentist. My daughter and I recently consulted 'Best of Boulder' to find the best dentist in town. Boy did they get this one wrong. I don't even know where to start to list all the problems we encountered. I'll just keep it short by saying the work was rushed and very poor. Assistants ( not even trained dental technicians, I asked) do most of the work and the dentist that popped in for a minute or two was very rushed. The next day we both found that the fillings were improperly shaped and we both were unable get floss between the teeth. My daughter had two weeks of pain before she discovered that a simple filling done by Comfort Dental had developed into an infection needing a root canal. This is the worst dentist I have ever gone to! The office staff is rude, belittling, and frankly incompetent. Ever time I call it, it is a big ordeal for them to find my account. The last time I made an appointment I did not get a confirmation call so thankfully I called in to confirm and they had no record of my appointment! Once I did finally come in, the office person quoted me a price that was DOUBLE what I was told over the phone. The only rationalization I got was they have a few new girls who have no clue what they are doing. I then called in later to speak with an office manager and was directed to an EXTREMELY rude woman who refused to give me her name and insisted I wasn't a patient at their location. I repeatedly stated that not only was I a patient but I have emails and records from there location proving I am a customer. She was very dismissive and abrasive from the start. While the dental work itself and the dentists I have worked with there have been fine , the staff I have encountered there are horrible and due to this I WILL also be contacting corporate with my repeatedly terrible experiences here. read more

I think this place is great. I'm completely aware that you get what you pay for. I started coming here because I couldn't afford my regular dentist out of pocket. I've had a bite guard made that cost's approximately $250 less than what I would of paid to my original dentist and have had a cavity filled, x-rays, cleanings, etc., My oral health is good to begin with. So when someone comes here to have the "works" done and has poor oral hygiene to begin with maybe you should go some where else and pay much more. Everyone is very professional here, kind and attentive, I've experienced nothing but thorough cleanings and good service from the front desk to the hygienists. Please find this warning about dental malpractice and gross negligence that I received at the hands of Comfort Dental in the Boulder location and Lafayette location. I was most recently a patient of Comfort Dental Boulder and less than 3 years ago Dr. Yasoni at Comfort Dental in Lafayette performed a root canal on tooth #21 which failed about one month ago. On July 2, 2015, I went to the other Comfort Dental in Boulder and after an examination and x-rays , I was told that I had a large abscess and infection in #21 and I was prescribed antibiotics and pain medications; however, they refused to treat me saying it was Dr. Yasoni's and Comfort Dental in Lafayette's responsibility. I contacted Dr. Yasoni and explained that I was having problems and made an appointment to see him; however, his receptionist told me that he had put in a crown on #21 and not a root canal. I was in so much much pain, that I went to the office anyway. Dr. Yasoni refused to see me and another dentist examined me and took x-rays and said that although Dr. Yasoni had performed a root canal on # 21, it was not #21 that had failed and he denied any responsibility for the failed root canal and the resulting infection. Dr. Wood, an Endodontist in Lafayette verified that #21 failed. On July 15, 2015, I underwent a complicated and very painful extraction at Dental Aid in Louisville which lasted for over 2.5 hours and the entire tooth showed significant decay and sutures were put in. Unfortunately, the dentists were unable to extract the entire tooth/post and I suffered permanent Parasthesia. I suffered a serious infection that extended into my jaw, loss of a tooth, endured a painful, botched extraction and permanent Parasthesia all because I was bounced back and forth between Boulder Comfort Dental and Lafayette Comfort Dental and neither office would take responsibility or treat me despite the fact that I was a patient at Boulder Comfort Dental. My experience at this office was poor. As a new patient I was there nearly 2 hours and spent a lot of time waiting to get taken back from the waiting area, then for the dentist, then for the somewhat slow hygiene process I encountered. I'm pretty sure the tools are clean but they and the office both look like they are from the 1970s. Their bookkeeping seems hit or miss as I just had to request reimbursement for a charge I paid that my insurance ended up covering...but I needed to call the office to request reimbursement as they didn't have the info necessary to credit my card and I am not sure they would have contacted me to ever get me my money back? This office has kind and caring people but they just seem disorganized. Unfortunately I would not recommend this office until they get better processes in place. Sorry! read more

I was pretty surprised to see all the negative reviews about this place because my experience was nothing short of positive. I arrived early because I was new and needed to fill out paperwork. I didn't have to wait long after that to be taken back. Then some X-rays were performed. That look a little bit for them to develop but then the doctor was back to check out my teeth and tell me the results. He then advised me to get a filling and a cleaning. Both the assistants helping were super friendly and really skilled. The doctor seemed to be great at multi tasking because he kept leaving to go check on other patients while his assistants were helping me. I was very impressed! Great location too. The set up is a little weird and not individual rooms like other dentists I've been to but I kind of liked the open feel of it. They also gave me free toothpaste, a toothbrush, and floss. Can't wait to go back for my next cleaning! Ps. They even called me the next day to check up on me! How awesome read more

They have over-charged me quite often. Being a Delta insurer, when I showed them what Delta said I owed them, it was always $100 or more that I had paid to them. They could never explain why I was paying them over what Delta said I that actually owed them. Their staff is not trained at all in what I should actually be paying for their services. Never ever go here. I still have work to be done with another dentist (a good dentist) to repair all of the damage they did on my mouth. Never go here. Please, don't put yourself through the absolute torture. Just pay for a good dentist. It's worth it. read more

this place stinks! literally. the most foul-smelling "air freshener" smell. Then the front dest girl had the nerve to claim that they don't use any, but later said,"oh yeah, I forgot, there's some in the bathroom..." You should know to avoid places that are so dirty that they have to use stinkum in their air. This place is incredibly dirty! Places that keep things clean never have to use cheap perfumes. read more

They shot me w the max amount of novicane and still couldn't get me numb and proceeded to do a root canal on me while I could feel everything and I cried threw the entire procedure. They kept telling me it was just the vibration and I said that no I could feel it. I have had another root canal and know that I could feel the pain and it was not normal. They also told me I had 10 cavities and after the root canal I went to another dentist a year later after I let them fill 8 of them and he said that at least one that she had not done didn't need a filling and that they never even finished my root canal. It wasn't fully drilled and had a temporary still on it a year later!! Also she drilled of the point of one of my teethe and the filling fell out a couple of weeks later. April is a crock a Lier and a thief! Please save yourself and don't set foot in her office. read more

The Comfort Dental in Boulder/Arapahoe is awful. The worst dental experience ever. They don't feel like caring dentists; rather, they really feel like officers from corporate America. The doctor that treated me spoke to me in a very flaky way, as if she is talking to a child. They were to do several procedures on one of my visits. At the end, after I was sitting up and ready to go, I randomly asked if one particular procedure was done, and they had to pull out the files to look again and realize that they forgot. My doctor's first name was Lisa. So they had to start all over again. I couldn't believe that they forgot! A lot of the work ends up getting done by nurse-technicians. One nurse was non-stop talking to someone else while I'm wide open-mouthed in discomfort. And then she left me without even saying anything for about 7 minutes in a very uncomfortable position. I gave her that feedback later, and she was really aloof in receiving it. I will never go to this place. read more

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Yeats for many years; first in Westminster and now in Boulder. He is an excellent dentist and his dental work on us from years back, is still working beautifully. My Husband had periodontal disease about four or five years ago and after the help, advice and counsel of Dr. Yeats, he has never had further issues with it. He is also reasonable and a person you feel relaxed with. We have found him to be very honest and he will refer to another dentist if he feels it is necessary. He has never tried to talk us into doing any further dental work than what is absolutely needed. His staff is very professional. I had to see another dentist in the office recently in an emergency and he was very nice and helpful as well. Update...just had a new bridge completed and he was extremely cautious to make sure I was happy with it. It looks great and I am very pleased. read more
