Located in Crestview, FL, their lot is located way back by itself and near I10. Plenty of parking spaces. Front office had a pretty bland attitude during check in. Meh. Interior seems clean and the room was well kept as well besides a kind of stale smell; this was helped when the AC was running. There was also almost no hot water coming from their shower; it was mildly warm at best but the strange part is that the faucet did receive hot water. Overall, not a bad option for the mid range hotel but Holiday Inn still edges it out for me. read more

I booked this hotel in error. When I realized my mistake I immediately called the hotel to cancel the reservation. It was a no cancel reservation and I mentioned that to the person on the phone, however, because I am a member and frequent guest with this chain, I was told they would make an exception and refund my money and cancel my reservation. My credit card was then credited the amount of the room but was then immediately recharged for the same room. When I called to discuss this, the woman (different person) on the phone told me that the first person I spoke to was new and didn't know he couldn't do that. What a crock!! I stay with this chain every single month and they could not credit me one night? I'll be staying elsewhere from now on. So disappointing that they will not honor their employees word! read more

Everyone from the housekeeping staff, front desk to the general manager is so incredibly friendly and remember you by name. We love that this property is dog friendly and several staff members always have treats in their pockets for our boys. Y'all....this place was the perfect stay. Close to I-10 and to various places of interest. The front desk staff is amazing and VERY accommodating. When we were just pulling in, our daughter decided to try her hand at blowing a bubble with gum. It didn't end up very well and we needed peanut butter, fast! The night shift gal (Natalie, maybe?) went and got me two small PB containers as well as a microfiber cloth to help with the clean up. Upon checkin you get your choice of beverages as well: beer/wine or soda/water. They also had fresh-made peanut butter cookies. Apparently it was our day for PB. Haha The lobby is up to date and tidy, as well as the common areas. The pool was cloudy but it's rained a good bit recently. So that didn't deter the kids from taking a late night dip. Linens are clean and there was no trace of the past lodgers (i.e. random hairs in the shower or on the towels). They even leave ear plugs in the beds for you (just in case) and there was a coloring sheet with crayons for the kiddos. Breakfast was a selection of yogurts, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), sausage, ham, bacon, waffle maker (regular or strawberry), cereal, and pastries. Coffee was fresh and there was also a few choices for hot tea. When checking out this morning, the day shift manager (Candace?) even asked if we'd been able to get the PB. If we travel through here again, we will be staying here. read more

Thank you for being so accommodating for our stay! We had to pull in the other night due to a issue with our trailer brakes catching fire and the staff was so kind and accommodating. Huge huge thank you to Nik who was able to recommend a mechanic//repair shop near by. He was so kind when we called and throughout our check in process. We are seriously grateful for his recommendations and kindness. We didn't get to see him again during our stay but really he helped us tremendously with his recommendations. Holly was another front desk team member who was so kind to us again making sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Hotel room was perfect for us other than the pillows. The pillows are not comfortable but we luckily had our own we were able to bring in. Beyond that everything was great! With covid all breakfast items have to be prepackaged but they still had a great selection of bagels, pasties, breakfast burritos ect, fruits, yogurt , cereal ect. Dogs are allowed for an additional nightly fee which was a pro for us but I could see how it could be a con for others. Ps if you book third party you will have to pay the pet fee upon check in. The hotel was very clean all around. Beds were comfortable we could not hear any freeway noise like others had stated and we were facing out toward the parking lot. AC works great. There is a small business area in the lobby we were able to use, a dining area, and an area with couches and chairs as well. If I ever need a hotel in Crestview again I would 100% come back here. read more

Hidden on a hill above town and with no signage, this place was tough to find. We were told that the city fathers made them take down their sign. For the benefit of others, they are up on the hill behind Wendy's. The front desk folks like Moss, Bryan, Eleanor, and a few more were so friendly. This is an older property in good condition. The floor space was cramped in the room, the desk and chair blocked access to rest of the room. The AC worked well. The Wi-Fi worked well The towels were new and fluffy. The pillows were good. The beds were comfy. Their breakfast was lacking. A minimum display of scrambled eggs, very dry potatoes. Limited selection of muffins and pastries. NO Butter and NO Whole Milk was bad. NO Grits, NO Biscuits, and Gravy. This was a fairly noisy property with little soundproofing. It is fairly close to IH10. . read more

Everyone on staff is committed to providing the best experience they can give you. Candace, Lauren, and their coworkers make you feel like royalty and they want to roll out the red carpet. Even housekeepers and the maintenance man were asking us how our stay was going and was there anything they could do for us. Attention to details. Check in beverages for Choice Hotels Gold members. Water and chips when you register. Very clean and well maintained parking lot, lobby, pool, and hallways. The rooms are so nice for a hotel in this price range. Details like mints and earplugs. Crayons, coloring books, and a rubber duck for the kids. A fridge that also has a freezer so you can refreeze the ice packs in your cooler. Spotless bathroom. An ample supply of soft towels. USB charging outlets for your electronics. Etc. etc. The free breakfast has a fantastic variety. Eggs, bacon, sausage; the first day - Eggs, Ham, biscuits and gravy the next. Pastries, bagels, waffle batter that has both plain and Strawberry, then changed to maple/Cinnamon the 2nd day. Cereals, fruits, oatmeal, grits. Crestview is about 30 minutes to an hour from many panhandle beaches. I would recommend staying here and driving to the seashore every morning. I cannot let another day pass without praising the Crestview staff during my time on April 23 - 24th 2022. I came there to attend a Korean martial arts festival. The staff has always been superb in assisting in any questions or problems that may arise. Eleanor, who is the assistant general manager and Becky the general manager, has always made it so welcoming, with open arms, to this event and staying with Comfort Inn. I ALWAYS look forward to returning yearly, not just for the event, but to enjoy the Comfort Inn and Suites' staff's professionalism and caring demeanor! My school has felt at home there each year we have arrived. This staff is untouchable to ANY Comfort Inn and Suites location I have been to across country. They always have hot coffee available, they are always refreshing everything from the teas, water and hot cocos that are on the drinking stands, so you know day or night when you go over to the drink station, there's always going to be something for you to grab in the middle of the night. I did not have this experience at the locations in Pennsylvania and in Tennessee. Which was very disappointing, and the laziness at those locations was surprisingly unexpected. The Crestview staff/location has set the bar high in customer service from their general managers, to Carnnel, throughout the supervisor staff of Candace, Megan and Summer to front desk, Maddie, Tijuana, Holly and Christy. I know that Danielle and Keisha were part of the maintenance team that were behind the scenes and I appreciate it because when I was there last, they were updating the rooms. with the housekeeping staff that prepared prior, during and after our stay. I never had any problems with my sheets or anything being dirty or messy, needing vacuuming, or room freshened up, I always had everything I need with the Crestview staff. As I advised before, when I went to another location, the bathrooms were not cleaned properly and sometimes they did not provide the towels and I had to ask for them. To include retrieving them. The Gettysburg location I had to ask them to change my sheets because it was nasty, dirty and had blood on it. At the Crestview location, housekeeping has every opportunity to be lazy but they NEVER HAVE, they have always made everything neat and the room always smelt so good. Bathrooms have always been clean very well and I've never had an issue with having housekeeping come back at this location to clean the tub because they're still so much hair there from a previous guest, an experience had in Pennsylvania. Ozzy, Connie, Tamilia, Nesha, Klaudia, Robin, CJ, Kerri, Brianna and Nkosi need a definitely get a pat on the back, because that's not and easy job to spot cleanliness and know what needs to be done above and beyond to make a room worthy to sleep in. During the time I was there in April, Lisa set up the breakfast in the morning, and with the vast amount of people that were trying to get to the event early Saturday morning at the same time, I am always impressed that everything is always so fresh and hot and is kept up and cleaned. She really busts her tail to make sure tables were available for people to sit down and enjoy Breakfast. Each one of these individuals should get a golden star and definitely all of them should be thanked for being so on their game regardless of how busy it gets, they all work well together. They are never fustrated and always have positive energy. I always appreciate how this staff has been exemplary and kind. If they are having a bad day I will tell you this, I never saw it. Even from the young lady vacuum down the hallway, they always stop and say hello. Greeting everyone but paying g attention to people they are assisting. This location is my favorite and I will continue to come here every year because this staff makes it worth the stop and stay, over me driving another 30 minutes to Destin. I rather lay me head in Crestview due to this staff. God bless them all. read more

Great place to stay. The ENTIRE staff was friendly, helpful, genuinely interested in making sure your stay was as good as possible. Natalie at the front desk during the day was great. Helped me solve a problem with my Choice Privileges account. The fix was so simple but she's the first that took a little time to give me the information I needed to get it fixed Breakfast was ok. Lisa made sure there was plenty to eat. Biscuits and gravy were good. Everything else was what you'd expect. Rooms were clean. The entire property was well cared for! Very pleased with our stay. We stayed at this location over memorial weekend. From the moment we called inquiring for a room until we checked out, this staff was truly amazing. They went above and beyond everyday to make us feel welcome, important and cared for! Candace's personality was radiant, genuine and so much fun! I felt like I was being welcomed home every night we came back and she was there. She remembered everyone in our party by first name!! In the mornings we saw Holly and she was perky, excited and always ready to assist!! These girls were the highlight of our stay. This was the only hotel we could find that allowed pets and didn't cost a fortune. The hotel staff was SO friendly all the time and very helpful. The room was super clean and overall a nice room. (We had a suite) It was fully stocked and a great size. Too cold to use the pool, but it looked like fun! I always like to pick hotels that offer breakfast, which this one did as well. It was a good, hot breakfast with a variety of choices and the staff was keeping an eye on everything making sure it was stocked. The hotel itself was clean/well kept. There were a bunch of dogs there also! Seemed like a super busy hotel and I can definitely see why. The quality of service was something I haven't seen in a hotel in a while. We really enjoyed our stay and found the rooms very nice spacious and comfortable. The staff was super nice friendly and helpful. They greeted you each time you entered or exited hotel and breakfast attendants were pleasant and friendly. I wish they had real butter at breakfast but otherwise they had a great hot and cold buffet! Our first two mornings we were loudly woken at 5am by what sounded like stampeding elephants and screaming kids. This went on nonstop until they apparently left around 9am. Seeing as we drove 12hrs straight to get there and were exhausted this wasnt going to work. We asked front desk to move us to top floor and they obliged. The first room the ac was broken but we got the room right next to it and had a pleasant quiet stay from then on. Good toiletries you can actually use! read more

Front desk employees were friendly but I cannot get a manager to call me back. I would have gladly payed more money and stayed here again in the future. This is a low end hotel. I stay at the local hotels here very often with the military they book our rooms here in the general area of crestview. This is by far one of the dirtier hotels I've had to stay at the walls are paper thin and right now it sounds like a 20+ person party going on, on the second floor. I've called twice to complain and nothing has happened. I have found many hidden treasures around the bed frames doesn't look like housekeeping does their job. I had a weekend trip with 2 of my 3 brothers for the first time in 45 years (Wow that's a long time). My younger brother booked the boat and I insisted on booking the room so I could stay at Comfort Inn. I have never been to this location before but as expected it exceeded expectations. The young lady that checked us in the evening we got there had a radiant smile and appeared to genuinely want to be there and help us. I am so horrible with names and I wish I could remember what it was. (It was the same as a famous person, I do remember that...). We went to supper and when we returned that same smile was the first thing we say as we walked into the door. I had occasion to need something from the front desk and I went back downstairs and there was a line of people to check in and help. I sat in the lobby a few minutes and watched her cheerfully help every customer and have them walk away with a smile on their face. The bed in our room were not the greatest in the world and will likely need to be replaced soon but everything else in the hotel was absolutely pristine. The location is perfect for people going to the ocean without being sun-bathers. It is a 20-minute drive on 4 lane divided highways to Fort Walton and to the Air Force base. If you need a great place to stay in Crestview or near Fort Walton, this is the place to be. read more

This hotel is amazing. it is the cleanest hotel i have stayed in. we couldnt even find dust on the emergency sprinkler head in the room. the manager who checked us in went WAY above and beyond. I have NEVER hung out in a hotel lobby in my life until i stayed at this hotel. it smelled wonderful and was so peaceful and comfortable. The next morning before checkout I could hear the lady in the room next to me on the phone pretty clearly, so the walls are thin. I didnt have any issues when I was trying to sleep though. OUTSTANDING hotel!!!!! We evacuated here due to Hurricane Michael. I can't even begin to express how great this hotel was. The entire place was spotless. The staff was phenomenal! They went above and beyond to make things great for their guests. The hotel even provided pizza one night since due to the hurricane many places were closed. I've never stayed ANYWHERE where the employees worked so hard and truly treated the guests like family. This is the only time I have stayed somewhere that I wanted to get names of employees. I have to say I have never been so surprised by a hotel in my many years of hotel stays while traveling. I truly was not expecting the level of service and the comfort of this hotel. When I walked in the lobby, the amazing scent of Christmas just consumed me. The bright smile and greeting from the manager on duty that evening, Tanisia, was such a welcoming gift after traveling in the car all day with 4 small children and our dog. She made me feel like we had been friends for years! We had booked a king suite with a pull out sofa. The kids piled on the sofa and mom and dad on the king bed. There is a half wall that acts as a partial divide between the bed and sofa as to give a sense of your own room. The hotel was immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I have always grouped Comfort Inn in the median economically priced average hotel category with no frills but a few steps up from your off the interstate motel. This Comfort Inn, in my opinion, a 5 star hotel at a 3 star price. A true diamond in the rough! read more
