We spent a night in this hotel. The lady at the front desk was friendly and sweet. The hotel is well maintained. The room was bright and had enough lights. The beds were clean. I'm so confused to see all the good reviews on this hotel. The staff is very very friendly but.....the hotel is so dirty and uncomfortable. I love hampton inn, this was not a typical experience for a Hampton Inn. The sheets felt like sandpaper. There were several hairs in the bathtub. The breakfast was ok. But I feel guilty writing this because the staff is seriously sweet and kind. Please get new sheets and train your cleaning staff better and then this place will be the best. read more

What a nice stay after a long drive from Houston. We had a bad experience with a different hotel a week earlier and decided to stay here on our way home. The rooms were clean and updated. Plenty of plugs for charging gadgets near the bed. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast bar was stocked even at 9:30 a.m. Everything you hope for in a hotel, but don't usually get from one close to the interstate. I decided five days before busy July 4th weekend to take a quick get-away to Destin, Fl. As I began my searches many of the hotels in the Destin area were booked and/or over my price range. I found a great deal at this new Hampton by Hilton property in Crestview, Fl. that is 31 miles from Destin with tolls. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room on the third floor was immaculate and still had the scent of new carpet and paint. The room was spacious with a sofa bed, comfortable king size bed, refrigerator, microwave, large flat screen t.v. with cable access, full body mirror, wi-fi, plenty of bath towels, small closet space with six hangers, and an iron and ironing board. Tip 1: The rooms do not come with a safe so take all valuables with you or lock them in your suitcase. Tip 2: No dresser or drawer space. Tip 3: The walls and floors are thin so request a room on the fourth floor if noise bothers you. Tip 4: The curtains do not close completely. If sunlight at 6:00 am and pool lights disrupt your sleep, bring an eye mask or you can be innovative as I did and use a scruchy and hair clip. Unfortunately the night staff lacked poor customer service when we requested to move to the top floor due to the noise. Better yet they were extremely rude. It took Elaine on the day shift to accommodate our requests in addition to brewing fresh coffee, restocking the breverage station with cups, lids, sugar, cream, and hot water in the afternoon. Elaine move us to the fourth floor and it was a much better experience. She even honored our request for a late check out. Housekeeping tidied up our room daily, were friendly, and respected the do not disturb sign on our door. This hotel offers a complimentary hot breakfast, beverage station (coffee, tea, and cocoa), fitness room, business center, up to 5ft small outdoor pool, and plenty of parking. Aside from the noise we experienced from not being on the top floor and a few minor mishaps (which were all rectified). We were pleased with the stay and overall accommodations- especially the bed. read more

Check in was a breeze. Parking is limited. And even fewer spots visible from the rooms. The lobby was nice and the front desk clerk was polite and professional. Like many Hampton Inn hotels, the room design and decor is updated, clean and comfortable. White sheets, white duvet, white towels...just how I like it. The mattress was comfortable but not soft enough. The comforter was too thick and heavy. Of course, some people might like these things, but I don't. Although each bed had two down pillows and 2 poly pillows, all 4 were THICK and I cannot sleep on that. I had to sleep on a rolled towel. I wish they offered different sizes. Your room rate includes free breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free parking. The room had a powerful AC, a very large LG flat screen TV, a desk area, an ottoman (useful for putting on shoes in the morning), a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Awesomesauce. The bathroom was spacious and stocked with plenty of towels and Neutrogena toiletries, a curbed shower curtain rod and a Waterpik massaging showerhead. I've never seen the set up where the faucet and showerhead are on opposite sides of the shower but it makes sense. The water pressure in the shower isn't the best but it isn't awful either. I really like the built-in shelf above the bathroom counter, just below the mirror. You can line up all your bathroom stuff without crowding the countertop. Perfect for longer stays so the housekeeper can clean the counter easily without having to move your things. The location is perfect when travelling through the panhandle on I-10 (less than 2 minutes from exit 56). It is located between Panama City and Pensacola. There is a gas station next door, and a Whattaburger across. Nearby there is a Hooters, Hardees, Wendy's, Applebees. On the other side of the I-10 there is a Walmart Supercenter. WIN I'd stay here again and again. read more

Wonderful Hampton Inn....we thought they just opened because it was so clean....but found out they have been opened for 3 years....they actually had a hot breakfast for us.....as u know most places stopped doing. There is a steak place u can walk to right behind ...which was great...or a Mexican restaurant right in front....staff was very nice and friendly especially the young woman serving. read more

I was visiting Crestview and decided to try the Hampton Inn. The experience was exceptional. The reception staff was friendly and warm. After venturing out and returning, we were welcomed back each time with a warm greeting. The hotel and room was clean and neat. We only ate the complimentary breakfast one morning. The staff was constantly wiping and sanitizing and I appreciated that. I would only suggest that they have the pork and turkey sausage for each breakfast as I'm not a pork eater and would have liked the turkey sausage. I'm sure that's policy so it's not a negative for the hotel. Also, it's close to many good eateries. Overall, great stay and I would highly recommend to anyone. read more

This was a great stay, hotel was easy to find and centrally located. It was a nice easy 25 min drive to Ft Walton beach (much better than staying in Destin). Staff was friendly room was clean and the linens and sheets were hair free, that completely grosses me out. The only down fall was the wait for breakfast. I will definitely stay here again to avoid the tourist spot but still want to be within 30 mins of the beach read more

This is the most modern Hampton I have stayed! Opened in March 2017 the place still smells brand new. Definitely an affordable price and the rooms are unique. The bathroom had an abstract thinker in a good way. Facets and shower heads opposite of the standard homes and hotels. A lot of thought went into updating the Hampton brand. The staff are very hospitable and make you feel at home. We will stay here again in the future! read more

If I could give a negative star for this hotel I would. Our stays at the Hilton brand hotels are usually good.This one turned into a nightmare. The hotel had an industrial size air freshener in the lobby that was so overpowering that it permeated into the breakfast area and made the cups unusable . I'm also an asthmatic so it was hard for me to breath and my husband who isn't also had a hard time with the smell. We asked to see a manager every day and also asked if they could turn it down or off and the staff just laughed at us like we were kidding. This isn't just about a complaint but an health issue! The general manager emailed us and said he was sorry and that everyone loves the air freshener and wants to buy one for their house. I doubt that because it smelled strong out in the parking lot. He also said that after we left that they turned it down by 40%. That is what we asked for each day! read more

I'm a stickler about clean sheets so I immediately pulled the comforter back checking the sheets and mattress. All was fresh and clean. The room was larger than expected. I have to admit that I have not been impressed with the Hampton Inn hotels over the years; however, this one earned a five star review. Many of the Hampton Inn by Hilton properties are not updated and tend to be the "bottom of the barrel" in reference to Hilton properties. This hotel, however, is updated and the decor is bright and welcoming. In fact, it looks to be a brand new property but I could be wrong. It is a small hotel with a small parking lot but the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Check in was a breeze. I was able to check in on the app and request a digital key so I simply used my cell phone to unlock the side doors as well as the room. The rooms were very clean and very nicely decorated. I love the white sheets and comforter and love that the comforter was thick. We had a room with two queen beds, a small study area, flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator and I loved the sliding door for the bathroom. Free breakfast is served from 6a-10a and I loved that there were "hot" options such as breakfast potatoes and omelets and there was even a make your own waffle station. Check out was as easy as pushing a button on the app and my receipt was emailed to me. I would definitely stay here again. read more

On the long stretch of I10 between Pensacola and Tallahassee there are few hotel options, so a new Hampton is welcome. This property is new, and is quite nice for a Hampton. Simple and small rooms, but also modern and comfortable. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of restaurants close by. It's nice to have a new option when I'm tired of driving. read more

The bathroom was enormous, and held everything I could have wanted. Neat little Mexican food place in front, and a steak/seafood place behind. This hotel is setup like any modern Hampton so that was expected. The woman who was working in the lobby was really nice. We went to get a bite to eat and came back and I wanted some snacks. So I asked the older gentleman at the counter( the woman who was there earlier clocked out I guess) about the snacks and he insinuates that I should charge to my room. I don't want to charge it to my room because I used a credit card and didn't want to charge anymore money to that card so I ask if I could just pay for the snacks immediately. Instead of saying it would be easier to pay cash( I had cash on me if he want to break a 20 for a 6 dollar purchase) because he has to pay merchant fees like he says " oh god bless you" and repeats that phrase multiple times and basically says just take the snacks for free because it'll cost him more for fees than what he'll make off the snacks. To some this may not have been that serious but it definitely ruined my experience. read more

As HiltonHonors members (Gold), we're used to being offered water bottles at the very least. We were offered nothing. Stayed only one night, so we did not utilize the pool. Yes -- nice new facility -- fresh mattresses, desk staff very outgoing -- but we've now stayed 5 nights while house hunting and see a trend: put tasks off for somebody else or do it later or wait for somebody to have to ask!! Examples: no refill of soap or shampoo for 3 days and I had to ask -- no water offered at desk yet we're Hilton Honors gold members -- tea bags out for 3rd day in row (breakfast ladies comment was we run out of tea all the time) -- we've been eating lunch leftovers for dinner and taking packaging out afterward to hallway wastebasket which has yet to be emptied after 4 days -- breakfast selection is below average for other Hampton Inns -- daytime front desk ladies response to computers not working in business room was "I don't know anything about computers" and apparently she doesn't know anybody to call for help -- same attendant is either on her smart phone or watching TV in the lounge area -- I even overheard same employee say to customer she wasn't paying attention when they were standing at the desk because she was on her phone "could you please repeat your question" -- this morning while having coffee I'm "entertained" by 2 desk employees complaining about working here and other associates -- this is first time I've stayed 5 days in a row at same hotel so maybe this is typical of what's to be expected -- fortunately we're on our way home read more
