I didn't know Comfort Inn is a budget hotel, the price didn't seem budget; $249 a night in the middle of the week in the middle of nowhere Oregon (Klamath Falls), for a standard king room. When you walk into the lobby you're hit with an old, musty and damp smell. You can tell some renovations have taken place, like within the last 10 years or so. The carpet in the lobby and hallways were in good shape, but as you look closely to the furniture, fixtures, and walls, you start to question what your room will be like. The room was actually more spacious than I thought it would be, and seemed generally clean. But the poor condition of the fixtures (chips in the sink, tub, toilet, and counter), walls, and curtains said enough. "Budget." I too have said enough, but you get the gist. read more

I recently left a cell phone in my room, have called and talked with three persons at the front desk, they have shown me a picture of it, etc. As per Comfort Inn/Choice hotels policy, they should send it back to me (since I am several hundred miles away), and I would pay postage. In addition to being unhappy with the stay, why would it take 2-3 weeks to return this phone? My advice is to watch out and stay away from this hotel. read more

Wish I could leave ZERO. I Booked room because they had pool and spa. They we're out of service which from others experience seems to be normal. Too cheap to fix I guess. The Vending machine has 2 or 3 several years old bags of chips. I hear it's been the same ones for years. I found a pair of soiled ladies undergarments in room next to bed. This left me believing the rest of room wasn't really cleaned. The room they gave me had the elevator shaft jutting into the corner of room next to the bed. Every time the elevator operated the noise was insane. I got a refund and went to another motel. I have not witnessed a person with such dark, demonic energy in years. I came in with my girlfriend after driving for 7 hours straight from Astoria. It was very quiet in the lobby. We approached the front desk and heard no sign of anyone around, but my girlfriend "felt scared to ring the service bell". Just before she did, this older red-haired woman appeared from the doorway behind the front desk, snarling "Can I help you?" with an intense, bitter tone. As she got close to us, I saw that her eyes were very red, her teeth jagged and snarled, not a hint of welcoming or friendliness behind those sunken eyes. Immediately I felt as if I were in some sort of psychological horror film. What was she doing back there? Her energy suggested she hated us for interrupting whatever she was doing...but her energy was also very inhuman. It felt more like she had pulled a "human mask" out of a drawer and smeared it onto her real face (likely not human) in a rush before coming out to "communicate" with us, aggressively. Before she even said more, I felt infuriated by the way she was holding this cold glare at my girlfriend without offering any sort of kindness or hospitality. She asked my girlfriend's name, and after my girlfriend gave it to her, she snarled, "We have nothing under that name", and held her cold glare again in silence, offering no alternative solutions. Her glare felt very comparable to the shopkeeper in Troll 2, played by a local asylum patient, who was like "There's no milk in Nilbog! It's the devil's drink!", but way scarier. Right then and there, I began having to hold myself back from saying things like, "Are you okay?!", "Do you have some kind of problem with us?", or "Do you understand how this works?" After a moment of volatility, the woman asked snidely, "How do you spell your name?" When my girlfriend spelled it, the woman looked disgusted. "We have nothing under that name". My girlfriend showed her the confirmation page which was booked through the app Hopper. She snidely responded, "We have nothing here". My girlfriend read from the confirmation page, "It says here to show you the confirmation number", she snidely responded, "That's THEIR confirmation number, not OUR confirmation number". My girlfriend paused, dumbfounded, "Ok. What should I do then?" She hissed, "We have nothing here. You'll have to take it up with them". While my girlfriend started looking for solutions within the app, the woman suddenly chimed in "The reservation is for the 30th". That was two days in the future, when we were under the impression we had booked the room for that evening. Was it a glitch in the app? There's no way to be sure, but, the woman offered little to no forms of advice, solutions, or, most importantly...kindness or hospitality. I am a very relaxed person, but she tripped a rare wire in me. I'm not sure what gave her the gall to be that cold and rude to my partner right in front of me, but it pissed me off, and a person like that should not be working at the front desk of a hotel. She was no help and she inspired us book a room elsewhere, rather than moving past the app mishap and re-booking a room there for the night, because we had absolutely no desire to stay in a place being run by someone with that sort of atrocious, deflective energy. We arrived around 10pm after driving 11 hours and they didn't have our room ready. Not a big deal, we ate our dinner while the front desk quickly put our room together. For our patience and calm demeanor, they offered us a discount. The room was clean, no complaints, except the tub drained VERY slowly to the point I decided to shut off the water in between washing my hair and my body. The continental breakfast was REALLY awesome. They had the waffle makers, eggs, meat, cereal, muffins, yogurt, coffee, hot water, and juice set up. We stayed 2 nights and took advantage of the breakfast for sure! The staff was VERY nice and accommodating! read more

Be warned: The beds are so saggy that we literally rolled together in the middle. It was like a bad I Love Lucy episode. They tried to clean well but the furniture polish was so thick that it got on everything we put on the table. Jackets, bags, everything smelled like furniture polish. It had a very strong perfume scent. We ended up getting washcloths and scrubbing as much off the furniture as we could just to get the smell down. We like scented candles and such, but this was too much even for us. Hint to housekeeping: a little goes a long way. We can't stay again until we hear that they have replaced the mattresses. I stayed in this hotel twice in the past two weeks: Thursday, July 20 and again Thursday, July 27. Both times I stayed in a two-bed room. It was the exact same room but one different floors, and yet the first stay cost $121 and the second stay cost $228. Why would the same room cost twice as much the second time I stayed than it did the first time? Because this hotel took advantage of people needing a room to stay in due to evacuating from a fire. That's right, the Golden Fire began Saturday, July 22 and people evacuating from the Bonanza area of Klamath County went to Klamath Falls for safety. And because the hotel was filling up, they jacked up the price. A move only a completely soulless corporation would do. What the hell? And making matters worse, the second room was on the ground floor, making it less safe than the first, less-expensive room. AND the second, more-expensive room had ants. I am appalled with this hotel for jacking up its rates during a time of emergency and I am disgusted with its inability to keep ants out. I will never stay here again and I highly recommend that no one else stays here either. read more

Seems like a fairly new property. The location is fantastic: right across the street from a Natural Grocers and within easy walking distance of Starbucks, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and more. Rooms are clean, quiet, and well-maintained; staff are super friendly and helpful. One thing that meant a lot to us is that they found a way to serve a full breakfast even under Covid-19 guidelines. I appreciate the management's going the extra mile when so many other hotels have simply abandoned breakfast altogether. read more

Not being from the area we let our brother book a room for us at another hotel and it was not up to our standards. This prompt us not to check in and seek comfort elsewhere. I called the Comfort Inn and Michelle politely informed us that they had a room available, rescuing us from our current dilemma. Do not stop here during summer! The entire town is overrun by midges. These insects don't bite but they swarm every inch of this place. We would have cancelled if we had the option to. Unfortunately we were exhausted from traveling and had made a non-refundable booking. I am not over exaggerating when I say that there are literally a million bugs at all times. The bugs are of no fault to this chain. We understand that this isn't a 5 star hotel and are pretty reasonable. However, there were dead bugs randomly laying around, a dirty remote with leftover particles from the last patron and the staff was so-so. We spent one night at the Klamath Falls Oregon Comfort Inn & Suites. During the night we discovered that the room was infected with little flying insects. We were told that the hotel was booked when we checked in otherwise we would have asked for a different room. I was driving south to California Hwy 97 was closed so we had to turn around and find this horrible place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The moment I stepped foot in that door I was greeted by a rude staff member. It's disgusting to treat people the way the did. I advised that I had an emotional support for my sister. They rudely said that they did not allow pets to stay there because my dog was going to attack another dog. I did say how are you assuming my dog is aggressive? You can't say stuff like that. They had the nerve to tell me that there is no way I paid $40,000 in training. The proceeded to tell me I was ignorant that it only cost $$10 elsewhere that allowed pets. Now mind you I was okay with them telling me emotional support animals where not accepted but what I wasn't accepting was how I was being treated. That was my whole argument. Well long story short they refused to give me a phone number to complain they did say that the manager lived in the hotel. They told me to get the hell out of there they called to police. I told them I'm not refusing to leave I just need you to cancel my reservation but if course I don't want to be charged. Emily and Catherine I believe are the names they gave me. But they are horrible human beings for treating people the way they did. Oh almost forgot threatened me to call every hotel and tell them not to give me lodging. Not sure how that's logical but I said okay go ahead. One more comment was never come back to Klamath Falls again. If you are looking for something fancy and high end.. look elsewhere. If you are looking for a place that makes you feel warm and welcome than this is the place for you. During Covid-19 times are tough and it's hard for places to keep the great service while maintaining all of the restrictions. When I first walked in to check us in, I told the guy behind the counter my last name and before he looked on the computer he knew my first name. I was blown away that he had taken the time to look at the check in list before people started checking in ( I'm assuming since he already knew my name). We checked into our room which wasn't anything fancy but it was clean and comfortable. The pool and spa was open which was AMAZING!! I was so relived because we weren't sure what to expect with things being open or closed. It was super quiet and we slept great. For breakfast they had somebody making the hot breakfast while you waited behind the cart. She made us waffles and grabbed the other things we requested. It was great to have a nice hot breakfast.. it's just the little touches that go a long way. I highly recommend this hotel because we were pretty impressed with how well they have adapted to the changes thrown at them!! Silvia was also amazing. She was serving the breakfast. She was so happy and positive. I really enjoyed chatting with her for a few minutes and enjoyed the breakfast. She did an awesome job! read more

Did a little bit of research before stopping here. Thought it would be a regular cheap hotel. Not even kind of. Stopped at the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Did not stink of chlorine but was super clean. The bed was awesome. We ended up getting the king bed. Sheets were awesome, blankets were heavy but not hot. Slept like a baby. Continental breakfast the following morning was surprisingly delicious. And the room it was in was bright with lots of windows. You didn't feel like u were in a dungeon like others hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel. read more

Our check-in started off bad, due to Hotels. Com messing up our reservation. The front desk clerk got on the phone with hotels.com and took care of everything, including getting us a refund of over $400 that hotels.com had charged us in error. Due to the mess up and the extended time it took us to check in, the clerk upgraded our room for our entire 3 day stay. This hotel was under construction, however we never heard any noise or had any problems due to the construction. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was good enough that was actually age at it all 3 days, which never happens with us. There is a lot of shopping and great restaurants near the hotel, even within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here again next time we go to Klamath Falls. read more

Just talked to my brother . He is driving from Eugene Oregon to Las Vegas Nevada. He had reservations at Comfort Inn in Klamath Falls where the wi fi wasn't t working . He own's his own business and this wasn't acceptable. The staff there couldn't accomadate his needs and did not care and did not bother to pretend they cared. Traveling when you are a senior is stressful already. When a business as popular and customer service oriented as Comfort Inn has been in past lets down a family member that is especially vulnerable it is frustrating. My brother had just spent time at the Comfort Inn in Springfield Oregon and couldn't stop praising their staff and amenities. So it is especially worrisome while he is hundreds of miles in between destinations he has to change plans . Thankfully the Days Inn at Klamath Falls had a vacancy and provided shelter and wi fi connections that allowed my brother to conduct business and not lose any clients or productivity. If you are ever in the area and are looking for a spot to stay, this is easily the best here. The rooms are huge & clean, the breakfast is good, the managers and caretakers (Joe and Michelle) offer the best possible customer service (for example, they recommended spots to visit AND printed out directions for me). Paid $113/night for 1 night during a busy holiday weekend. Free parking too. The girl at the front desk was friendly. The room was clean. Shower had good water pressure and instant hot temp. Room included a mini-fridge and A/C unit that was very loud but worked fine. No problems with noisy neighbors. Is located right next to a Sizzler that closes @ 9pm and down the street from a Wendy's that was open late. read more
