    Blood stained mattress

This hotel is dirty. The vending machines did and ice machine did not work. Spa was drained and roped off with caution tape.

So far the room is not very clean. I'll update date later if I find more. The bed sheet looks slept on, so going to the other bed. Need to deep clean some areas

I would have say if your looking for a nice place to stay keep looking because this place need to get its act together before I can recommend it. So with that said hopefully they can fix the things that are wrong with this place. Like remodeling it to start.

I have not witnessed a person with such dark, demonic energy in years. I came in with my girlfriend after driving for 7 hours straight from Astoria. It was very quiet in the lobby. We approached the front desk and heard no sign of anyone around, but my girlfriend "felt scared to ring the service bell". Just before she did, this older red-haired woman appeared from the doorway behind the front desk, snarling "Can I help you?" with an intense, bitter tone. As she got close to us, I saw that her eyes were very red, her teeth jagged and snarled, not a hint of welcoming or friendliness behind those sunken eyes. Immediately I felt as if I were in some sort of psychological horror film. What was she doing back there? Her energy suggested she hated us for interrupting whatever she was doing...but her energy was also very inhuman. It felt more like she had pulled a "human mask" out of a drawer and smeared it onto her real face (likely not human) in a rush before coming out to "communicate" with us, aggressively. Before she even said more, I felt infuriated by the way she was holding this cold glare at my girlfriend without offering any sort of kindness or hospitality. She asked my girlfriend's name, and after my girlfriend gave it to her, she snarled, "We have nothing under that name", and held her cold glare again in silence, offering no alternative solutions. Her glare felt very comparable to the shopkeeper in Troll 2, played by a local asylum patient, who was like "There's no milk in Nilbog! It's the devil's drink!", but way scarier. Right then and there, I began having to hold myself back from saying things like, "Are you okay?!", "Do you have some kind of problem with us?", or "Do you understand how this works?" After a moment of volatility, the woman asked snidely, "How do you spell your name?" When my girlfriend spelled it, the woman looked disgusted. "We have nothing under that name". My girlfriend showed her the confirmation page which was booked through the app Hopper. She snidely responded, "We have nothing here". My girlfriend read from the confirmation page, "It says here to show you the confirmation number", she snidely responded, "That's THEIR confirmation number, not OUR confirmation number". My girlfriend paused, dumbfounded, "Ok. What should I do then?" She hissed, "We have nothing here. You'll have to take it up with them". While my girlfriend started looking for solutions within the app, the woman suddenly chimed in "The reservation is for the 30th". That was two days in the future, when we were under the impression we had booked the room for that evening. Was it a glitch in the app? There's no way to be sure, but, the woman offered little to no forms of advice, solutions, or, most importantly...kindness or hospitality. I am a very relaxed person, but she tripped a rare wire in me. I'm not sure what gave her the gall to be that cold and rude to my partner right in front of me, but it pissed me off, and a person like that should not be working at the front desk of a hotel. She was no help and she inspired us book a room elsewhere, rather than moving past the app mishap and re-booking a room there for the night, because we had absolutely no desire to stay in a place being run by someone with that sort of atrocious, deflective energy. The people are the Shilo Inn were very nice. Same prices. Go there instead.

One thing that meant a lot to us is that they found a way to serve a full breakfast even under Covid-19 guidelines.

The property is mostly asphalt except for the pool area and a bit of grass if traveling with pets. Easy access and good parking for large vehicles, RVs and trailers. Well lit parking lot with lots of cameras. Burger King, Jimmy John's, and Starbucks in walking distance. Room for as clean. Pool is heated and clean. Very nice breakfast setup in the mornings.

At least that's what I was told, so we ended up with one room and 3 beds for an extra $100. The first night shower was messed up, and the charger didn't work because you have to flip the light switch. This time around I'm really disappointed by the fact they don't clean your rooms without you going to the front and asking. I stayed 4 nights and not one turn down. The breakfast sucks and is only cold Options. The hotel is old as dirt and has no new renovations, yes the pricing is cheap but I won't be staying here again. Beds are old, make noises when you move, the walls are dirty, the bathroom is growing mold, I honestly don't think anyone really cleans here. You can see the dust on the lamps and light fixtures. It is a convenient place due to the location. They do have a lot of parking and a pool that is heated which is weird when the weather is 80-90 degrees during the summer. There are a lot of homeless people around here and behind the rooms I did take a picture. It sucks when you can't leave windows open because you don't want to hear or see them. I did see a lot of people staying here smoking outside of the rooms or near their cars. Which is not okay. I didn't like that the lady that works here sat down instead of getting up to greet you, I did ask if I can borrow a broom to clean our room and she said no. I don't see why that's an issue all I know is it left a sour taste in my mouth. It's unfortunate that Klamath doesn't have new upgraded hotels.

We were given the option of 1st, 2nd or 3rd Floor which was nice. We chose ground level this time, our room was small but cozy perfect for us. There was a decent sized bathroom, a queen bed, closet, desk, tv, fridge & microwave. The room had a bench seat in the window which I loved. I chose to hang out there for a bit. It was comfortable and we could see our vehicle from the window. The bedroom had a large mirror as a backdrop with bright lights, it was perfect for someone to do their makeup if the bathroom was in use etc. The bed was comfortable, and we had plenty of pillows. The down side of the rooms being small is you can hear the tv from the next room through the walls. And unfortunately for us the alarm clock from the opposite room that went off from about 530 - 930ish when housekeeping went in and shut it off. The only other issue w3 ran into was the side door closest to our rooms key reader was down so we had to walk around to get back in the building. The location was great for our trip and the hotel was clean and nice, and the staff was all friendly. Overall a good experience.

The fridge was handy as there were many grocery stores in the area to buy snacks and drinks. We used the indoor hot tub and pool during our visit. Both were great! The towels were fully stocked and the pool and hot tub were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good too. The staff worked hard to keep the food stocked when the breakfast rush arrived. My only complaint is the elevators. We took the stairs most of the time because the elevators would shake and seemed to pause for a few minutes before finally settling on the second floor to open the doors. At first we called the first elevator (on the left) "sketchy" after a few uses. We then revised the nickname to "sketchy 1" after using the elevator to the right, which we fondly named "sketchy 2." Both elevators were a little scary so we just used the stairs. Other than that we had a wonderful time at this Holiday Inn Express.

And if she's not the manager or the night manager, she should be! I booked this hotel on my way through Oregon through the IHG app. I like the IHG group of hotels and I had no issues with this hotel it's exactly what you would expect from IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express. But will really set this place apart was, again, Cynthia! When I showed up she was friendly and courteous. There were other people waiting to check in and she handled all of our tasks professionally and deftly, I wasn't waiting for very long! Then, there was an issue with my room and Cynthia was able to accommodate me getting into a different room. Then I made a mistake with my key card and Cynthia helped me out with the most wonderful attitude. And finally helped me get settled into my room for the night. Checking into hotel can be stressful, especially when there's something that goes wrong, and especially when you make a mistake with misplacing your key card. Cynthia took all the stress out of that situation and really helped me out. The breakfast in the morning was a little limited, but the server was very friendly and helpful! So again, this hotel is great, but the star of the show here is definitely Cynthia!
