Made a late booking here and checked in late. Nobody was in the check-in area so we called the number, but guess what? They didn't pick up! So we waited for about half an hour and it didn't show any sign of a single soul is present so we decided to leave and made another reservation. Thankfully we got full refund but it was still very inconvenient because we were exhausted from a long drive. BED BUGS - DISGUSTING - UNPROFESSIONAL I always check the mattresses when I stay in hotels and this is the reason why. Obvious bed bug remnants, exoskeleton, and feces. I sent the pictures to a pest control company who verified it, and advised me to leave the room immediately. The front desk lady told me she just came back from vacation and the owner has left on vacation and is unreachable. The room was a weekly rental prior to our stay and nobody had been in there to check to the room but the cleaner. Gum was stuck all over the comforter and some on the carpet. The toilet was so gross I used my own Clorox wipe and cleaned it and it turned white. Splatters on the stove top and sticky drink rings on the nightstand which I had to clean. This was honestly the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. They have not issued me a refund for the $125 we paid them for this disgusting room we didn't even stay in, and told me they are waiting for their "professional" to investigate. They continued to tell me they have a no refund policy. It has been 4 days and they still haven't called me. My husband and I had our 2 kids (1 & 6) and our dog, and we booked this in advance. All of the other hotels were now booked. This was a complete nightmare for us after an 8 our drive. Our last night on the road and my friend remember a reasonably priced motel she stayed at several years earlier. So I looked it up, found it and booked it. This place was taken over by a young family (they live in a house attached to the motel). You can see that they are making every effort to clean up this old place. You can tell the rooms have been recently painted, new toilets, new bedding and window coverings. I think this place must have been apartments or long term room rentals. The closet were huge) We asked for something not to close to the road (lots of road noise the night before). He said he had a room with two separate bedrooms we could have for the same price as a two bed room. OK, said we. What comfortable rooms they were, one room had a queen size bed and TV (I took this one), the other had a double bed...no TV (that would be my only negative) but my friend doesn't watch TV and had no problem taking the other room. The bathroom was out in the hallway...to only these two rooms, there was another door to the stairwell. A soda machine at the bottom of the stairs. We wanted ice, which was happily gotten for us from the owners quarters. So while it doesn't look like much... this small motel is quite comfortable... I'd definitely stay here again. They advertised room on Booking.Com for $10.00 I even received confirmation email. However when we were traveling motel called and said they could not give us any room for that price but could have it for $89.00 as far as I'm concerned this is just the old BATE &SWITCH tactics. Found this motel to be a little gem. Present owners purchased 7 yrs ago and have been remodeling. Our room was large and meticulously clean. Amenities that we didn't expect. No breakfast included however. Staff very accommodating; bed comfy. Our room had a kitchenette and plenty of cookware. This is a no smoking motel but saw staff outside on breaks smoking. Great deal. The pizza parlor right next door has delicious food and cold beer. We would stay again. Yes, some rooms had recliners that needed replacing; hopefully this is on their list of things to do. read more

My first stay at the Townhouse Motel. What a gem and it is privately owned and run by a delightful couple! Such a rarity anymore. My room was spacious and included a full kitchen for which there was no extra charge. Everything was super clean, well organized and thankfully did not smell like cleaning solution or any stale odor. The location was central to everything and even though it is on a busy street, traffic noise was minimal. The bed was very comfy ( and I'm picky) and even though it was fully booked, it was very quiet. Thank you for a lovely stay at a fabulous rate. read more

I would have given four stars but the guy upstairs was banging doors and stomping around until 3:30 am. Was he operating a meth lab? Who knows? This place is great. Moving from California and our rental wasn't ready yet. My wife and I needed a last minute place to hole up for a few days with the dog, cat, and two kids. Fair price plus the rooms are big with a kitchen and backyard area. They accept dogs and cats! Byron helped us out at the front desk and walked us to our room. He showed us around and made sure we would be happy if we decided to stay, which we did. We will refer visiting relatives soon. read more

The only Motel I've stay in 2018 that still has a real key to access the room (not a room card key). I feel like I just went back in time. lol The motel is located around a lot of eatery so that was nice. I do like the bathroom and shower as it has a little bit of an update to it. The hotel pictures looks a lot better than the room in person. The room itself is OK and has the minimum basic necessities; a small TV, shower gel, bar soap, two bath towels and two small hand towels. I suppose you can always ask for more towels if needed. The walls are thin, and I can hear people talking on the other side. The bed is old but OK. Some may find it too hard or uncomfortable so it's a personal preference. This is a great little hotel! The outside is very old looking, so I was worried when we pulled in, but the owners have completely renovated their king room, and it was lovely! Every single surface is new, so nothing is old and funky. There's a kitchen with full stove and fridge, and it's equipped with basic pans, bowls, etc. The room is good sized and was very comfortable. Just be aware that one must go up steps to get into the tub, and that might be dangerous for the elderly or people with mobility problems. It's possible that other rooms are different. Bottom line you get what you pay for. The room itself was cozy but everything was clearly very old which isnt a problem for us. Our room was located behind the front office, under a staircase where we believe the owners live. We spoke to the manager before and after our stay and she was extremely friendly and accommodating, however who we assume is the staff was very loud and disruptive in the front office and in the room above us, from early in the morning and even late at night. We would be open to potentially staying again but for sure request a different room. read more

Great little mini apartment rooms are spacious and bathroom had a pretty stained glass window. The parking was easy access to the room. The owners are very helpful and easy to talk to. The night desk lady was very helpful when i checked in. I came in late and the rest of the town was booked up on a Saturday night. So glad i found this place. Having a full kitchen and being at a family run business made my trip more enjoyable. read more

Room was clean. Parking area horrible, everything to close. Water from somewhere ran all night and the refrigerator was so noisy had to unplug it. Could hear everyone staying in the motel from their rooms. Bed frame was extremely noisy too. Never heard so many noises in one place at the same time. Room was nonsmoking but by back door entrance there were several ash cans heaping with cigarette butts. Horrible stay.What a disappointment. read more

So first off, don't let the outside scare you. Sure it looks like the set of a slasher film from the 80s, but pull in anyway. The guy behind the desk was super friendly. Showed me the room. This place is bigger than my son apartment. Full kitchen and even a small backyard. The bed was the best we slept on during our vacation. The owner has really tried to make everything as nice as he can. Coffee pot with filters and coffee, dishes, everything. This has been the best stay I have ever had . We arrived early and The room that I have reserved wasn't available until three so they gave us an upgrade and had a room available at 11 o'clock we got into town . The room is very spacious and very clean the tiles didn't have stains the bathroom had a Jacuzzi bathtub which was amazing. This is the nicest motel I have ever been to...HANDS DOWN!!! The rooms have been given a completely modern remodel with finishes including marble and granite. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub with steaming hot water that was so relaxing. And the room has a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and full size fridge! Room was very elegant and super clean; a rarity among motels. Clean sheets, plenty of fresh blankets for the cold, flat screen tv w/cable, free WiFi, and air conditioning/heat. Family owned, very sweet staff. Traveling with kids is hard enough as it is, and just the fact that this motel has very reasonable pricing, and our room had a full kitchen was a huge plus. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was wonderful. The owners Rav and Pinky were so warm and welcoming and genuinely cared about our comfort. We had a really bad experience with another motel in town (we checked in and it was so filthy and in bad repair that we got our money back!) so we asked to see the room before checking in. The room was huge and so clean! We gladly checked in and had all the comforts of home. Our stay was so pleasant that we joked we could live there! The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom had two areas, one for bathing and using the toilet and another with a sink, large mirror and spacious counter. It had a full sized refrigerator, microwave and fully stocked kitchen. We were traveling with our two small dogs which were not a problem but it even had a back door to a grassy backyard that was so convenient for them. read more

This is an older motel that has been nicely updated. We had not requested a ground floor room but I arrived with an injured knee and they accommodated us with a room on the main floor. The staff were very friendly as were some of the permanent residents. We sat under the shade tree and had a lovely visit on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Our room had new laminate flooring with new bathroom tiles. Decor was eclectic and the room was spacious and quiet. It is also within walking distance to several restaurants. read more

Well.... Yes, apparently most of the rooms by now have been remodelled. However, we had a little bit of misunderstandings about the price, which could have been handled a little bit better, I would think. Also the service needs improvement. It was hard to catch either of the owners/managers in the office, normally you had to bother them at their appartment, if you were lucky enough to know which one it was. Also our in-laws stayed at one of the rooms including an EMPTY kitchen. No knives, no sissors, no silverware, no dishes, not a single thing. So be prepared to bring your own. Also this place is a non-smoking motel, however the first night somebody was smoking so much pot, that even though all windows and doors were closed, the entire room stank like hell. From what I've heard this is already an improvement to what it used to be, but even for a smalltown motel, I expect a little bit more than that, especially since its privately owned and rather small. Engage with your customers and don't expect the place to run itself. read more

My room was very modern, comfortable and clean and very reasonably priced. Best of all was the location, middle or all kinds of food options and right on the main drag of klamath falls. My BF and I stayed here on a Sunday. We were visiting Southern Oregon and came across this hotel after reading ratings on Google, Yelp and TripAdvisor. 4.5 stars! Wow, you would think you were going to have a fabulous time. However, when we got to the hotel, no one was in the office. We had to ring the bell twice and finally I got fed up and wanted to leave. We started to head to our car when the lady came running out of their apartment. Apparently she did not hear the bell. OK. I get it. We checked in and she led us to our room. It was through a door and up the stairs. Nice looking room. Kind of dark. Alright, I was willing to give this a try. I looked at the bed and the comforter was stained. Ew. There was a water bottle cap on the ground and some small pieces of paper on the ground. Again, I can get past this. I made sure the sheets were clean and threw the comforter to the end of the bed. TV was nice and bathroom was pretty clean. Now, I can sleep anywhere. I was in the Army for 12 years. I had a hell of a time sleeping here. The bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows were small and super soft. The locked door to who knows where banged against the door frame any time anyone in the entire building moved. It was a very long night. I was happy to get up in the morning and leave. Oh and when we went to go take a shower, the towels were stained. One looked like someone worked on their car, wiped their greasy hands on it and then threw it in the wash on cold. If you are looking for a cheap motel for a night, this is a great place. I prefer to have somewhere a little more bright, clean and better smelling. Also a little more quieter. Oh, and don't eat at the Denny's down the road. They suck!! read more

I was coming to k falls to find a place to live but needed a motel for a couple days so I first stopped at the maverick hotel the woman was rude and not helpful at all so we left. Upon arriving at the townhouse we were greeted by a very lovely woman and her family asking if she could do anything for us! We were tired and my 3 kids wanted out of the car, the rooms r great and this place is very family oriented! Hidden gem! We stayed one time going south and stayed again going home! The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The units were recently remodeled and very comfortable. They had kitchenettes, though we did not use them. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were very nice and clean. There are several eateries within the area. Reasonable rates, clean, nice staff. Would definitely recommend this motel. read more
