Terrible stay! Room 126 should not be rented out and should honestly be gutted. The sticky carpets made my boys socks black within minutes. The musty smell was not pleasant. I asked front desk for washcloths and received 1 with obvious blood on it! The night we checked in we went to shower and realized we had no shower curtain. Front desk said it would have to wait until maintenance got in the next morning. Absolutely not! She ended up giving me a shower curtain to install myself. Worst experience of my life! read more

Wind storm so a power outage. We decided on this place to spend a night, about 3 miles from our home. I loved it and will definitely remember it. Very clean and everything was in good condition. The lady said they are in an ongoing remodel. (which certainly didn't interfere with our stay. We didn't even notice it) The evening shift desk manager was very helpful (can't remember her name). It was a quiet sleep and comfortable bed. The rooms are a bit smaller, it's a bit dated and didn't care for the breakfast.

Check in was quick and easy. The lobby and rooms were clean. Everyone who worked here seemed pleasant. It's located right off I-5 so it's easy to access. They have a pool and jacuzzi. I like the free breakfast in the mornings and free WiFi. I brought a little pineapple pillow with me and after housekeeping went through our room, they put the pineapple pillow on the center of the bed which made me laugh. Would stay here again. read more

The room was okay but I am not going back at all. I hate hotels that can't do anything extra to accommodate a guest. I even asked for something as small as a little pastry so my husband could have before I dropped him off at work. I accidentally reserved the wrong room and even though the hotel was pretty empty they couldn't upgrade me like most hotels do without asking for extra money. Did not enjoy the staff and service means a lot to me. I am always in Olympia but will never stay at that hotel again read more

This hotel was under renovation when I stayed there in early Feb 2017. Overall good experience and good value. The construction is inconvenient and doesn't make for a very inviting arrival when the lobby entrance is closed and you have to go around the far side door to enter the building. Location was fine. Grocery store near by and several OK restaurants nearby. Good access to I-5. The room was in good condition and clean, but some of the details were a bit of a miss. Some of the patched areas where fixtures and such have been replaced were not very well executed, but nothing took away from the room functionally. The big, fat pillows (even the "soft" options) were not my preference... I slept on folded pillows stuffed into a pillowcase. My room (206) has a heater that had a bit of a squeak on the low setting, but I'm a pretty light sleeper. 2nd night I cranked it up and turned it off before bed... the room held the heat well enough (with a night around freezing!) that I stayed comfortable. The bed was not new, but comfortable. Wi-Fi worked well and even stood up to some good streaming activity. Fitness room and pool were good, elliptical had some squeaky joints. The elliptical and treadmill are relatively modern. Breakfast was the standard Comfort Inn fare, which I feel is acceptable and a good value. A few hot items, a waffle maker, and the standard cold breakfast items. It was well stocked and met my expectations. Construction is irritating. At one point they sprayed some sort of sealer on fresh concrete that had awful fumes for a couple of hours. Thank goodness it dissipated. Other than that it just isn't very welcoming to have a front door that's under construction, but it should be nice once it's done. For the money it was good. If I needed to stay for work in the area I would stay there again. For leisure I might consider staying in Olympia proper for better access to downtown, for further up the road in Tacoma where there's more restaurants and such. If you're just passing through it's a very nice option. read more

This was far-and-away the best room I stayed in during my trip to Washington. Short review because there's nothing bad to say. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggesting things to do around Olympia. The hotel was clean, both in our guest room and in the common areas. The shower was hot and maintained its heat. The Wifi worked perfectly. The value was pretty decent for the price. The parking lot was secluded. It was a bit difficult to find the entrance, but there was plenty of space even on a busy night. 5/5. This Comfort Inn delivered on every component that makes a hotel comfortable. read more

For the price, I was very happy with my stay at the Comfort Inn. My expectations were pretty low being a budget chain of hotels, but the room was spacious and clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was above average. I do wish they had a fitness center on site, but they do have a partnership with a local gym with a low day rate which they'll reimburse, but I didn't have time for that. Nice that its an option. Wi-fi was also pretty weak but there are a handful of complimentary computers (2 or 3, can't remember) in the lobby which I made use of instead. My only real complaint was the girl at check-in, who told us nothing but our room number once she took my credit card, and walked away. Directions to the elevator, breakfast times, etc would have been nice...but we found our way anyhow. The girl on the morning shift at check-out was very friendly and informative, which made up for it. I'd stay here again next time I need to stay in the Lacey/Olympia area. read more

I really liked my stay here. I brought my two kids and my friend stayed in a connecting room with her two kids. It was awesome! Located fairly close to I-5 and there's lots of food and shopping close by. Delivery is an extra special treat when we do a stay-cation. The pool is only 4 feet at the deepest but has great hours. The place has had a facelift and been properly updated. I can see past all the fluff a hotel has to offer and I Know this place is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The fact that they left ladders outside of their maintenance storage tells me theft isn't something that is worrisome at this location. I got all good feelings about bringing my family here. I opted for the late checkout which extended our time from 11 a.m. to 2p.m. for a modest $20. We will be back. read more

I end up staying at this particular hotel rather frequently (probably 12-15 nights in the last 6 months) as it's close to many of my clients and it hits on budget (actually a little below) for the company I work for. Usually I have a pretty good experience but this time maybe not so much... Management change? I don't know but it's kind of the only thing I can think of... Room doesn't seem as clean, frayed kind of nasty towels, and to top it all off the Wifi Passcode I received when I checked in on 6/29 was changed sometime after midnight on 7/1 and no one said anything. I get up very early in the morning to do paperwork and couldn't log on, I did get the new passcode when I called the front desk but the guy that answered the phone acted like I should have known it was changed and why was I bothering him.... Time to look for a different place to stay when I come to the area. read more

Beyond bad. Sara front desk was awful! She should never work with people. I had a couple different interactions with this girl. The first two times she was rude I brushed it off because I was staying at a 2 star hotel. I didn't expect much. But the 3rd time hit a nerve. I asked her why she was so upset with everyone, and why she wouldnt come up with a solution. She immediately threatened to kick me out and all the people with me( a couple other families). It was beyond anything I have ever experienced. She was literally ready to fight me.. (I have never been in a fight before...so shocked in this moment!.. and I am still two weeks later!!) I was just asking this lady to do her job, and not bother all her guests with her own emotional issues. But she wasn't capable of that. Sadly, after this poor interaction I decide to read some reviews. Something I really wish I did before staying here. I then found out others got bed bugs, rashes from the pool, and other verbal assaults from the front desk. Our room was disgusting. Again, I kinda expected it. But it was way worse than I expected. Disgusting mold everywhere, peeling wallpaper, dirty floors, beds, bedding and chairs. It would be easier to list what wasn't dirty. Just simply not cleaned. If there was any care for this place, these things could be cleaned. Imagine renting a room with sauce/blood/mold stains everywhere! I promise you I'm not overreacting. I purposely took time to write this one review because I believe people need the warning about this place. And this establishment needs to be told how ridiculous Sara is. She needs to be fired. Another friend of mine with me recorded the interaction with her. We have thought about taking it to the news. The verbal assaults (I've spared the details here) are so crazy I feel this place needs to be exposed. Side note, my car was messed up the next morning. (Massive door ding.... like 8 inches of a door slam in the side.) we also had our credit card # stolen and my e-mail hacked. This was the ONLY information we gave them. And every part of it was hacked a day later. I would say it could be a coincidence .. except for the massive door ding that happened overnight while I was sleeping at their hotel. And THEN.. we got charged for makeup on a towel!!! Yes.. that is correct. Read other reviews on other sites. This is what they do. They will charge you for a dirty towel before they clean it! I use bare minerals, and I have white towels at home. My makeup washes out with basic soap and water. I promise I didn't stain a towel. So more or less.. after being verbally assaulted, charged for extras that didn't happen, having my car destroyed and all my personal info stolen.. Pros - it's right off the highway and usually inexpensive. It has a pool and breakfast. Cons - there isn't much around the hotel so prepare to drive for food. The hotel is older. The bathrooms are small - ok for single travelers but a nightmare with families (the door barely clears the sink and toilet). Breakfast is lacking - below average standard hotel food. Walls are thin - you hear everything people around you do and say. Overall, it is a cheaper place to crash if needed. You get what you pay for. read more

Nasty! This place is super dirty, old, and disgusting! To start, the parking lot seems a little shady. The lobby might fool you as it is somewhat updated with cheap finishes, but once you leave the lobby and start toward the elevator and hallways, it goes completely downhill. The elevator was dirty and old, and the hallway needed to be completely remodeled. Once we got to our room, I noticed how dirty the light switches were as well as the door into the room and the bathroom inside the room. The carpet is red, worn, ripped, and stained! The linen was ripped and has stains and hair on it! It was so horrible that I walked back down to the lobby checked out and moved hotels! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! read more

I checked into this hotel and the front desk clerk was so rude with an attitude. I want to see the manager and she says no one is available to speak with. After insisting she got a manager on the phone the manager was professional and resolved the issue. The front desk clerk seriously needs customer service training and learn to provide a good guest experience. I stayed there in May. Sitting in my room here right now. The place is clean, has a fridge and microwave. I even like the travel toiletries offered. Haven't had breakfast yet, but the facility seem clean. I can't expect the best breakfast ever, but I'm willing to bet its comparable to your average fast food breakfast. The pool is small but GREAT for kids. The hot tub is hot but hella chlorinated. The pool room is definitely clean and its not so chlorinated that your eyes burn the second you walk in. All in all, it's great for the price. read more

This place SUCKS. It's Filthy, Disgusting and a Total Mess. Stayed 2 nights too many. The room was NEVER cleaned upon my check-in and During My Entire Stay It was NEVER cleaned. First night I took a shower and the water wouldn't shut off. I had to make sure I left the drain OPEN or I would have DROWNED in my own room. Alerted front desk but nothing was done about it since "maintenance is off on the weekends" WTH. Front desk was absent and a nightmare when present yelling at me about touching items that were left out that were intended for BREAKFAST ONLY!!! OMG then put it the nuck away!! Sheets had someone else's HAIR on it and stained and that was both beds. Uggh I had to sleep so I didn't have a choice. Carpets weren't vacuumed. Shower had multiple hairs from the previous person that stayed there or possibly All of the people that stayed there. Heater Noisey so don't plan on getting any sleep. Walls are paper thin so you hear EVERYTHING. Breakfast was a Pure Joke with disgusting dried out scrambled eggs, hard-ass bagels, people sneezing into the eggs, just a place for Pigs to go. Look Elsewhere As This Place is a Joke!! Also, the parking lot is a haven for the homeless. While I waited for my room to "supposedly get ready" (which obviously it wasn't even worked on since it was a filthy, disgusting mess when I got in it), there was a man in his car that just sat there working on his computer (obviously stealing their wi-fi) the entire time I waited for my room (which was over 3 hours). I even saw him the next day in the same parking spot, as if it was "Reserved" for him, doing the same thing. I guess it was his "office" to do his business (whatever that might be). It felt creepy and unsafe just sitting in the parking lot waiting for a room. Never, ever staying at any Choice Inn Again after this experience! What the heck did I pay for? My car has Better accommodations than these Choice Inns. Oh and don't go to the BURGER KING nearby as they are a bunch of racist pricks that put multiple hairs and God knows what else in the middle of my salad, the fries were old, cold, squished and used! They had a couple of computers in the lobby which was nice since I had an email I had to print out so I could get a plane ticket. They had an indoor pool which looked inviting, but since I was so pooped from driving all day I didn't go in. The free breakfast in the morning was nice. They had eggs, waffles, cereal, bagels, etc which was convenient since we had to get back driving on the road early the next day. read more

We've stayed at Comfort Inn, Lacey, WA, quite a few times now and always enjoy our stay. The pool area is very nice and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is so convenient - and there are often cookies at night. There are plenty of restaurants nearby - both sit down and fast food - as well as many offering delivery. We came to this hotel after leaving a different hotel that was TERRIBLE. The hotel is right off the freeway and really convenient. All the staff was very nice and helpful. The hallways and hotel doors look a little rundown, but the inside rooms are updated and clean. The rooms are a bit small, but the beds are very comfortable and basic accommodations are all met. We stayed here during a family vacation and right away the service was phenomenal. The people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. We checked in to our rooms in the evening and were greeted by fresh chocolate chip cookies. The room was very clean and the beds were exceptionally comfy. This hotel was probably the cleanest hotel I have ever visited. I noticed later that night that I had forgotten my toothbrush, I made a trip to the lobby and was able to get a toothbrush free of charge from the front desk. Most hotels I have visited make you pay for toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. but this hotel provides the essentials for their customers. This hotel also had a great variety of breakfast foods. Delicious waffles and eggs! Overall a great stay in Lacey at the Comfort Inn. I will definitely be coming back for future visits. read more

I stopped here at the last minute while driving back to my home in Oregon. I had my dog,so I was pleased to find out that they except pets for a small fee. Front desk staff was engaging and friendly and efficiently worked to get me checked into my room. Parking lot is a little creepy but close to some food options and a quick trail to walk my pooch. Room was neat and clean with good water pressure, but the toilet in this bottom floor room needed to be bolted down. I think my major difficulty was finding where the Inn was - across from the Shell station, with the entrance a short distance away, shared with a private school. La Quinta is directly behind this motel, and knowing that helps to find it. I liked the room and being able to find food, a grocery, Starbucks, etc, within easy driving distance. The location for me was very good. If you are visiting a relative in senior assisted living on Lilley Road, and you primarily want a place to retreat to at night that is reasonably priced, consider this Comfort Inn. read more

One of the nicest hotels I have been in for business. The hotel staff was helpful, gracious & understanding of my business needs. My room is looks newer/current style, very clean & all room amenities are there. Breakfast was better then most, many food options (breakfast sand, waffles, sausage gravy, eggs, yogurt, etc.) Even picky eaters "children" would like. Jacuzzi was hot/clean, pool looked nice, towels available. This hotel is very easy to find, right off freeway, & is close to food & shopping. I have stayed in quite a few hotels on road trips and such - and I have NEVER had a worse hotel experience and I have stayed in some PITS! I can start with the good. My daughter really enjoyed making her own waffle in the AM. That's about as good as it gets. The hotel room was okay. The bed was disgusting. Once you laid in it there was a HUGE pit in the middle. Once you got in you just sunk into it and not in a good way. There was hair and dirt all over the bathroom floor. And this was the good part. About 3 AM our fire alarm warning battery chirped (and by chirped I mean a sound at a decibel that would wake the dead) except apparently for a very tired four year old. My husband and I thought it was just a one time deal. No. Every half hour for a while and then more often - ALL NIGHT LONG. It would make sense to just call maintenance and have them come and take care of it right? Well, that's fine except for if you have an exhausted four year old who is sleeping through it. So early the next morning after very little sleep on my part I inform the front desk "Sales manager" Alisha that this happened. She accused me of LYING saying that she doubted that was possible since they had all recently been checked. Excuse me??? I have had about four hours of sleep and she is accusing me of lying??? I informed her that it was still chirping away and she was welcome to go check it out herself. She offered us a different room - but the last thing I wanted to do was pack all of us up to move to another room for the day. I asked for some sort of compensation and she said she would have to check with her manager who was offsite. We checked in to the Comfort Inn to sleep. We were unable to sleep because they do not do regular safety checks on their fire alarms (which really frightens me if there were an actual emergency there - how many of these aren't even in working order??). It is an older hotel but the rooms were clean the bed was comfortable. It's close to the freeway entrance and exit so that's a plus , a lot of fast food places to eat close by. There are a few homeless people milling around so that makes it uncomfortable being a single female. read more

Stained sheets, torn bathmat, reversed hot and cold water, dated decorating. Minimal amenities; the bathroom has two bath towels for two people. I typically stay somewhere else, and will return there, even if it's a few dollars more. The staff is friendly, breakfast is edible, and the hotel is right off the Interstate, but that's about it for the good points. read more
