We went for spinnatos comedy and magic on Sunday 6/30 Show was great and it was a fun time. I enjoyed the style of seating as well as food and beverage items. All of the seats are good. The guy that was scanning our tickets was super abrasive and short when we arrived and again when I stepped out and asked him a question but oh well. The great show made it ok! The waitress also never gave me a receipt for my credit card payment after asking twice but oh well again. We would go see another show there. read more

Loved the comedian Mike Feeney and can't wait until he comes back. He was funny without needing to use f word every sentence. After awhile f word every sentence loses its affect. Here and there I can see. He used it only a few times. Maybe because he was at his best behavior due to his in laws in the audience? Loved his opening act too! read more

Went to the Drag Show it was absolutely amazing. Laughed so hard & these Queens were most epic. They kept us laughing & throughly entertained! Wait staff very friendly & knowledgeable. I can't say enough amazing things about Comix. I recently went there for dinner with my husband, a comedy show to see Mary Lynn-Rajskub and a live band after the show. The food was so good, the service was great with happy people who actually cared about providing you with great service and of course the drinks were fast, cold and delish! The show was so much fun and the live band (American Honey) had the dance floor packed all night! Definitely a great place if you just want to have fun and let your hair down for a night. This place ROCKS!!!! Awesome Live Entertainment, Great Beer & Cocktail options, fantastic apps & entrees, friendly service, AND a MECHANICAL BULL!!!! Yes I hopped on that bad boy as it was on my bucket list to try. A lot harder than it looks that's for sure! You can't go wrong ordering a cocktail at this place. They aren't watered down at all. You can actually taste the alcohol which is always nice when you're paying anywhere from $9-13 a pop. I ordered the Blueberry Lemonade, it was delicious. My husband ordered the Hurricane & said "Now that's how a drink it's supposed to be made". For food we ordered the Bullseye Platter. Everything was pretty tasty. For an entree I ordered the Country Fried Chicken which came highly recommended by our server. My husband ordered the St.Louis Styled Ribs. Both were very large servings!!! If you're hungry THIS is the place to go while visiting Mohegan Sun. Not only are the servings great but the food is absolutely delicious!!!! Definitely worth the money. The owner/manager popped over for a chat with us. VERY friendly & eager to share the Comix Roadhouse history. We thoroughly enjoyed his company & happy to share how much we enjoyed our time there. Bull riding doesn't start until 9pm & we were wrapping up at 8pm. The owner kindly started up the bull riding early so that we could have the full experience. Undoubtedly we will back! Went in last night for a friend debuting their comedic talents. All of the comedians that performed were hilarious. They also had karaoke going on in the main restaurant which was awesome. I'm not a big karaoke fan for many obvious reasons, but all of the singers I heard were great! Had a drink at the bar before I went into the show. The bartenders are all very quick and attentive, and quite easy on the eyes! Had Grace as a server during the comedy show. She was so attentive and friendly. Our drinks were awesome too. I had the vodka/blueberry lemonade specialty drink, so tasty, I had to have 2 more. The atmosphere was fun. The other guests really seemed to enjoy the comedians too. I would recommend this place to anyone that was to have a good laugh, great service and some very tasty drinks! read more

We decided to stop in and have dinner and drinks before bowling that night. We ordered our drinks and decided to begin with some appetizers. We received the appetizers and not only were they not hot, they also were full of salt/msg, it had no flavor, but it had plenty of salt. We were happy that we waited to order our meals, because after the experience with the appetizers, why would we order meals when their appetizers were horrible. I would have thought, any restaurant/bar lounge in the casino would be all good, I was completely surprised and wrong! I would not suggest this place to anyone. It was very disappointing. read more

Getting tickets was fairly easy. And so was the process of getting in. You've got front row, then the VIP section which is the next couple of rows, and GA seems to only be necessary if the headliner really packs the place. Big beer menu. But I found the draft Yeungling to be my choice at 16 oz for $5. I ordered the Ha Ha Appetizer Platter. It includes 4 dipping sauces, and mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, onion rings, and burnt pork ends. Not a bad pick on the plate! The onion rings weren't sloppy, the pork was like crispy pork aka the best kind in the world, the chicken tenders were good, and the mozz was good also. Basic stuff. But if you've seen a previous review of mine, it's easy to mess this simple stuff up. And Comix nailed it. I had a great time and would highly recommend it. Show started at 8pm. Doors open at 7. The hostess recommended I come back at 7:45. I came back at 7:30 because I wanted to be done eating by the time the comics came on stage. read more

Got comp tickets here and sat in the 3rd row. Do yourself a favor and do not buy the cheaper tickets in the back. You will be all alone back there. Only the front row was completely filled, as well as the second row. There is a minimum of $10 per person required for comix. The comedians are funny and it is worth the time spent there. read more

On Saturday July 29, a group of 11 women ate at your establishment. We were there for a bachelorette weekend. Our waitress, who never gave her name and your manager Mark were awful. We questioned our bill and we're told that they were going to call the police and have us arrested. Not only was the service horrible the food was absolutely disgusting. We will never go back there. It would have been a great evening and we were looking forward to having a good time. Your service ruined the night for us. If someone could have taken one of us aside, spoken to us calmly, so we could hear over the music things would have ended differently. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Comix at Mohegan Sun. Great idea. Not great execution on our visit. We wanted to see some comedy. Knew that there was a club at the casino. Away we went figuring we could get some drinks and food and entertainment. We were walk ups. Plenty of seats available and no transaction charge for buying the tickets ahead, online. I hate those charges. We were seated straight away and a server came to take our order. The tables are VERY SMALL. We felt like the party next to us was sitting in our laps, so we moved over one. We ordered drinks, and food. The drinks came quickly. I think they forgot the vodka in my vodka and club soda. Then the food came. Burgers and sweet potato fries for both of us. The burgers were cold and raw. The sweet potato fries were cooked, but also cold. The server did not come back to check on us for over 20 minutes. By then it was too late to fix the food. We ordered more drinks. Still no vodka. Third drink. Still no vodka. At least Toni's beer had alcohol in it. The comedy was okay. The MC and the headliner were very funny. The opening act was mostly a downer. The bill for 2 burger and fries, and 5 drinks- $110. That is ridiculous. We already paid for a seat. I might go back for the comedy, but never again for food and drink. Eat and drink somewhere else. Get a $10 beer to drink during the comedy to cover the drink minimum. Casinos are already money vacuums. Why does the comedy club also have to be so expensive? read more

This was a great place to watch the Superbowl. They have a great selection of beers- including rarer craft finds! Best part- all drinks were 20% off! Not sure if it's an every Sunday promotion or a Superbowl promotion, but definitely a perk! They had pretty good wings as well- I liked that the sauce was on the side and the wings weren't extremely dusted! Again, great promo on during football season: 8 wings for $6 during Thursdays and Sundays! All in all, a great atmosphere and a great bang for your buck! read more

Tonight I tried to go to the bathroom(which is outside of the restaurant, directly next door)and being told I have to pay a $40 cover if I want to come back in. This is after I already paid it ($40)initially to get inside. After the amount of money I have spent here in the past, will not return. Selection of craft beer was disappointing to me. Also, a third of them were not "craft." Beer prices are ridiculously high for a non-stadium/arena event. The food (pulled pork sandwich and side salad) was quite good and didn't take long, but the prices didn't match the menu, which was confusing. Happy hour discounts Saturday -5 pm? So much fun, you NEED to come here for some top of the line comics, even if you don't gamble this venue at Mohegan is fun, they have great drinks and casual food, and they will definitely keep you entertained for about $35 for solid seats mid way from the stage.
