I was staying at the Mohegan sun and saw there was a comedy show here during the weekend. My friend and I got two tickets at 20 each to see Jared freid. I think that was more than reasonable. We got there when doors opened and we're seated immediately. I liked the comedy club because it was intimate and the comedians were able to connect with the audience. The service- I think it's typical for the standard comedy club. We got dinner and drinks and they came out pretty fast, but since we were early they were concentrated on getting everyone seated and their orders in so our second round was a little slower. The espresso martini was excellent. We both got the brisket sandwich. I think overall, the drinks were a little overpriced but I guess you have to pay to play. Again, I really enjoyed how the club was set up. With this being a few hours from my house; I will definitely be back for a getaway from home and will stop to see who's preforming here the next time I'm in the area. read more

I'm a local and have been to dinner many times at Mohegan but never here. So fun!! We had dinner as a country band played. So great to hear live music again. After dinner we saw the comedy show and it was awesome. We laughed the entire time. We were hoping to listen to continue to listen to the band once the show finished, but the restaurant was packed. The mechanical bull also gives this place a great country feel. Service was good. Will be back!! read more

I came here with my husband to see one of my favorite comedians, Brad Williams. I gotta say, it's a pretty nice place. Although I believe the menu is a bit over priced for how much food they're serving us. I don't know what it's like at the restaurant but the menu while watching the comedians I believed was a bit over priced. Wasn't really that good food either. The drinks was good but damn small. I'm disappointed in that. But I did have a good time watching Brad Williams. We will probably come back again just to dine in with my husband or some friends. I'll update later. I went to the drag show (Lipstick Lashes) they had on a Friday night at 10pm and I can honestly say I had an AMAZING experience!! The ladies were entertaining, funny, and talented. The atmosphere was alive and exciting. I couldn't recommend it more! I'm looking forward to going again for another drag show and I would also love to go to a comedy show as well. It's a smaller stage and seating arrangement than I expected, but the intimate setting makes you feel involved as an audience member and I think that is so cool. 10000/10 read more

My boyfriend and I went here for New Years and had a blast! There were three comedians, and we loved two of them. We didn't eat there, as we were there for the comedy, but their drink list was great and a little on the pricey side. I guess my one complaint, being a fan of comedy clubs, was that it is larger than most so if you're not one of the first ones in the seating and views isn't that great and it's hard to see all the way in the back. Love that they have this in Mohegan and we will definitely be trying it again! read more

The venue was beautiful. I had the horrible experience of seeing Tony Hinchcliffe perform this weekend, however, and was sickened by his insulting and degrading performance. He was racist, sexist, homophobic, and brutally attacking to audience members. Please do not ever book this hack again! The other two comedians on the bill were fine and so I'd return, but please heed my warning and avoid this guy at all costs. We went here for the beer selection being better than the rest of the places here at Mohegan Sun. At first we were sat at a high table with small stools and then we were given a nice booth which was nice of them. We ordered 12oz drinks for about 8-10 bucks but the selection like a said before was good. They have food but it's definitely not the best food Ives ever had. We had the nachos which were chips, covered in yummy cheese with I think steak or pork? The giant pretzels were actually very very small. The service was speedy and the atmosphere was cool and I kinda wish we stayed longer cause when we left we ended up realizing everywhere else was jam packed. Overall great beer selection, apps and food are okay. This review has no reflection in the comedy aspect. More the bar and food! read more

We reserved front-row tickets to the 4pm show (before our 6pm dinner reservation) as part of a weekend birthday celebration. To be honest, we didn't know what to expect and just hoped for the best. Tickets averaged $25pp with no minimum cover charge! The nine of us ordered 10 drinks, one order of fries and chicken fingers. The total order (gratuity included for parties 6+) only cost us $95 and the server was very friendly and attentive. The stage area is rather small, but set up nicely so that there really is no bad seat in the house. The audience was informed that the first part of each 75-min. show consists of a guest performer. We were fortunate enough to have witnessed Jon Stetson, a mentalist, who was entertaining, funny, humble, and astounding! The second half of the show consists of Jimmy Spinnato's combination of adult comedy and more traditional "magic." Even being so close to the stage, his slight-of-hand was flawless. Both artists were lively and encouraged audience participation. We had a wonderful experience and will gladly return in the future :-) read more

I am giving this place a rating of three stars because I do genuinely have fun here when I go with my friends and I have a lovely family friend who works her butt off here and does an awesome job each time! However, when I went last week, I was talked down to by the bouncer and the manager because they believed my REAL ID was a fake ID for reasons I am still unsure of as he never said why before he scanned it. I still have the vertical one... I do not think vertical fakes even exist, I was also told that by another bouncer at a different place in Mohegan. I can respect and understand the concerns of that, especially at an establishment like this. However, I used to work for the golf course and most likely took the same class about checking ID's that the bouncer did. The bouncer was extremely smug and didn't look at me once before deciding my REAL ID was fake then when he went to scan it, it popped up as fake... The manager came and he talked down to me as well then we went to the tribal cop who proved my ID was obviously real because if we also didn't, they weren't going to give me my real ID, MY property, back no matter how many times I said it was real. The manager said I could go in after but I refused with how I was treated by him and his bouncer. How is a scanner in place to "prove" fakes when mine was clearly real? It's not a reliable measurement and the bouncer ONLY scanned it b/c he thought it was fake in the first place. Extremely displeased with my treatment before I even got in the door. read more

Have been here many times both for Patricia Griffin Psychic Medium as well as comics. It's a great venue and wherever you are seated you will have a good view of the stage. The food and drink options are good and the drink prices are not outrageous as is the case with many comedy clubs. Will be back again for sure. read more

However, most people do eat and drink at shows, as a matter of fact, it is a requirement on the ticket ( $10.00 minimum purchase ) I did enjoy the show! Two thumbs up! The menu really lacks variety. If you have a dairy intolerance or are vegetarian, there is not much to choose from. We picked the chips and salsa. They were satisfactory at best. The thimble sized serving of salsa was gone very quickly. When we asked for more, we were given another thimble sized serving. Ok, but $2.00? They charged $2.00 for that! I'll go back to see a show, I hope by then they will add some options to their menu. Things that are not fried, meat based and smothered with cheese. read more

Had a reservation for a bachelorette party that was made over a week ago, get to the place, they look at us like it was the first time hearing of our party. Waited 15 minutes for table. Sat. Waitress came over after 20 minutes of waiting and rudely said we needed to wait longer, rolled her eyes and walked away. I wish I knew her name. Waited almost an hour for food and it was absolutely terrible. Watered down, cold. When we told said waitress the food wasn't good she asked "why is this plate bad and the rest are fine?" Then said we were being rude to HER, after she set the bar from the start. Even the "owner" who came over to the table didnt seem to care and wasnt concerned. Never again. All around terrible experience. Very unprofessional. In edit to the reply below, we actually had to pay for our drinks which was $135 that we still didnt deserve to be paid to you. The craft beer list is impressive and I tried a great beer from Stonington which I loved. The food is surprisingly good for being in a comedy club! My girlfriends and I had a great time. We were greeted immediately, our area was cleaned for us and then we were seated. The waitress was very friendly, attentive, and kept the drinks coming. Atmosphere was very laid back and fun. The food and drinks were good. Just wish there was more of a variety to choose from. We were going to Mohegan sun for my moms 70th birthday and decided when we got there to go see a show at Comix. I got front row seats which I was scared they would pick on us and they did but it was a blast! I highly recommend going if you're at Mohegan Sun.
