Have only good things to say about the staff and dentist at CCDC. I drive over 40 miles round trip to go to their office.

After having a bad experience with Bright Now Dental ( they had tried to tell me I had 4 cavities…read moreand gum disease, AND tried to double charge me and my insurance) I decided to give this office a try. I had an outstanding experience with Brandon Braud. He confirmed I only had a single cavity and no gum disease, which he found to be quite humorous. They do quality and honest work, and actually take the time to get to know you as a patient. As a result, I've been coming back for years now, despite it being a 50 minute drive for me. I've seen their office grow substantially over the past 6 years- a testament to the great service that they do!

I had good experience 6 years or so ago, but 1 month ago I was suppose to have the few remaining…read morebottom teeth pulled and an immediate denture installed. While waiting for the lab to deliver the denture, a Dr. Cettie numbed me up. They weren't suppose to pull the teeth until the denture arrived. Dr. Braud stopped by and added more numbing stuff because the order was late. Dr. Cettie came and pulled the teeth seconds before the replacement arrived which was wrong. They told me that the lab destroyed the mold made when they made a partial instead of a full denture. My lower teeth were not in pain and I had a partial that fit well. But the lab had made a partial instead of full so I have been without a lower for 5 weeks. I went today and the denture was there but not finished. I was suppose to go on vacation the day after the teeth were replaced but had to cancel. I couldn't go without my teeth and without any indication of when I would receive it. I was suppose to spend 2 weeks with my daughter and meet my son-in-law and granddaughter for the first time before they went with my son-in-law who was deployed overseas. My daughter spent her savings on my plane tickets and 2 weeks hotel in Nashville. It was a special not refundable special of $2800. I am elderly on old age pension of $739 a month. The only thing of value I have is my pickup which I have to sell to repay my daughter at least some of what she spent. They are my only family left and with my bad health I'm not not expected to live more than a couple years. With the few remaining teeth I had and a good partial prior to them ripping them out, they would have gotten through the vacation. I'd already waited 45 minutes past appointment time for the lab to deliver. Had Cettie waited 5 more minutes for it, we would have found the denture was wrong and postponed until after vacation. But he just had to rip them out. I haven't been able to eat more than crumbs and 2 hours sleep is all I can do. There is no way to fix this.

I went in last spring to get dental work from Dr. O'connor. I was told I had 5 cavities. I was…read morequite surprised by that. I have never had more than 1 or 2 cavities when visiting a dentist. I believed the dentist, because she seemed like a nice person. I was not shown the x-rays or the location of the cavities, as I am accustomed to. Over the course of 2 visits, I had all my fillings drilled out and completely replaced. The total cost was $500. The first time the edge of my tooth was left very sharp, as if the filling did not reach the top of the drilled hole. I had to have it corrected. The second visit, the water sprayer pick was leaking all over my face and no one wiped the water off me. The dental assistant was very rough and seemed very unhappy in general. She was not paying attention and was resting the tools, stretching the side of my mouth in a very painful way, while staring at the ceiling. Once I got home and the numbing medicine wore off, I realized I could not bite down correctly, because one of the fillings were too high. I got back in the office the same day and they told me it looked fine. I had to show them that none of my teeth were touching because the filling was too high. They corrected it. Why didn't they check to see my bite was correct after the fillings were placed? A year later and I have pain in one of my teeth that were filled at this office, whenever I bite anything firm, like pizza crust etc. I have to not chew with that side of my mouth. I had no issues or pain with my teeth, prior to this. I had my two Children see Dr. O'Connor as well. I was told to go out to the waiting room while my children got their x-rays and that they would come get me, when x-rays were finished. They never came and got me. They brought the kids out when they were finished and told me I needed to make an appointment for them to get fillings. I said why do they have cavities? I was told they did. I asked if the dentist was going to talk to me at all, so they went and got her. She showed me a chart, showing they both had cavities. Again, I was never shown x-rays. I felt nervous about the office and how my fillings were done, so I scheduled the kids to have an appointment with another office. My son has been to the dentist twice since then, in the last year and has had additional x-rays and I have been told at both check ups, that he has no cavities. I was told he had 2 cavities, by this office. My daughter did have cavities. I feel like I was lied to about the amount of cavities I had and the amount of dental work that was needed for me. I feel like the quality of dental work was poor and that I am suffering for it. I would not recommend anyone see Dr. O'connor or let their kids be seen by her.

After testing they told me they would not be able to give me and told me what I originally asked for and referred me to go to an urgent care.If this was protocol, they should have told me in the first place instead of making me waste my time, and my blood. I thought It was careless to not tell the nurse who would contact me, my care plan, but alas, Lindsey never planned to give me that care and never informed me that she was leading me on. What a scam. I wish I could give out negative stars honestly. They aren't considering that super high levels of certain hormones do not read on tests, they believe they know it all, instead of working with a patients ideas when it comes to the patients body. It's ridiculous to 100% trust a test and not want to examine the body. It's actually neglectful. If multiples run in the family and cause a hook effect... and someone doesn't receive care, it's because this place lacks it.
