The staff just doesn't seem to know what to do when not actually serving. They need to engage more, show some energy, and just plain seem friendlier. If the owners can fix that issue, they will have a winning total formula here. Perhaps make one Red Bull per hour mandatory for the staff! Edit: I stopped in again for the awesome beer, and things were about the same. Will keep bringing my business in hope, though...

I've been coming to the draft house for about 3 weeks now, I'm not much of a beer drinker but ive tried several of their different drafts and i can honestly say the selection is not steered to a certain style, my friend tonight got a very dark beer, and i got a cider beer and we both enjoyed our drinks. The service is good, the manager does a great job of making sure that your drinks are full and your not in need of anything, The guy behind the bar can give great recomendations on the different beers and is pretty knowledgable. The chef makes some very unique desserts and i havent found one i didnt like. Onto the food. Tonight i had the grilled cheese with bacon (amazing) Ive also had the fish and chips (crispy and fresh tasting) The big chief (a grilled chicken sandwich for someone who can put down some food) The single patty burger (Great flavor and good portions) and the chicken salad sandwich. All of these were absolutely fantastic. The sides are all unique and are not something you can find in a store. If your a foodie, a drinker, a beer connoisseur, or even just need a place for a date night or to hang out with friends this is the place to go HANDS DOWN!!! There is not a place in town that has a better atmosphere, variety, or flavor that the Commerce Street Drafthouse has. Do yourself a favor and go there! read more
