They have effectively driven off multiple customers. They take way too much time. They will lie right to your face. They charge you for work incomplete. They miss checking air pressure, then have to ask how much air to put in. Worst of all is they know they have these persistent problems yet they do nothing to fix it. read more

Outstanding service and care for customer here. During my vacation I got a rental car with worn out tires and I didn't know it. After a lot of miles driving, I started having trouble with tire inflation. Called the rental company and they told me tire problems are my responsibility on the contract. Stopped by Commercial Tire in Pocatello and explained my situation. They checked the tires, they were overdue for replacement. I could see the bald areas on them on the inner side. I only checked the exterior of the rental car for scratches when I received the keys. I still had about 300 miles to go for my trip. They helped me by inflating the deflated spare and recommending, to take care driving in the rain, and the tools I needed to change my own spare which I purchased for safety on long empty roads. They advised me on how to travel better and safer. With their excellent advisement, I had the tools I needed to change a flat along with instructions and inflated tires and spare. I was safe and secure with the tools I needed and inflated tires thanks to the time and care of the folks at Commercial Tire. These people know and customer care is excellent. My wife took her newly purchased car in to have it balanced. Many places will take advantage of people they believe may not know anything about vehicles. They were completely honest with her and gave her great customer service. Today I took my truck in, (which has been riding rough for awhile now), and Shane took great care of me. We were stuck! Our front tires on our truck were cupped & wearing fast! We called all over Pocatello for tires to match our new back tires....NOTHING. We paid just under $600 for two tires and were happy to be on our way by 10 am! They got us right in & changed them while I sat in the truck! We had a flat tire in front of our home, I recently had back surgery and was unable to do anything. Called Commercial Tire (Pocatello) and explained my situation. In less than 30 minutes a technician was at my house took the flat with him and put on my donut spare. Next day I ordered 4 new tires from Commercial and they were here the next day. On the way to get my new tires installed the donut spare went flat, (In all fairness it was 20 years old and never used or checked). Called again and aa technician was at our road side in 10 minutes. Installed a spare in order to get us to the shop. $1200.00 later we have 4 new staggered tires, they look great, handle great and my wife feels safe. Kevin & Shane treated us as though we were the best customer they ever had (but we witnessed several other customers being treated the same way). I was not billed a dime for the two service calls (though I would have been happy to pay it) Service is not a by-word at this shop it is their motto and we will continue to use their services. My husband and I were on a road trip when we noticed a nail in our tire. We came into Pocatello to try to find a shop to see if it was repairable. We stopped at a few places before Commercial Tire and none of them were friendly or helpful. They all told us it would be at least an hour to fix. When we went into Commercial Tire, we were greeted immediately. Shane told us that it was no problem to fix the tire and they could do it within 45 minutes. We grabbed a quick bite to eat while we waited. Shane was incredible friendly and helpful to us! He gave us his card and told us to let him know if we ran into any more problems. Incredible service from Commercial Tire. I was driving cross-country from NY to Los Angeles, and got a screw puncture in my tire just outside of Pocatello, ID. I brought it to this shop first thing in the morning at 7:30am with no appointment praying they could squeeze me in. The Assistant Manager, Shane Crane, was a stand-up guy. He understood my situation and squeezed me in despite being busy, so I could continue on the road to LA. We even chatted for a while about a military connection while the tire repair was going on. All in all, he said it would take about an hour, but we were out of there in 45 minutes (there were one or two people ahead of us) with the tire completely repaired and ready to roll. Thank you so much, Shane. You helped make this debacle a whole lot less stressful. EDIT: Shane even gave me his card and said if I run into any issues while on the road, to give him a call so he can try to point me in the right direction for any needed repairs. read more

First thing comes to mind when I think about this particular business is SLOW.Also looks like you constantly have to make sure they spell your name correctly and remind them what you want to be done and on this Earth you are not going to live eternally you also have a job and other commitments , besides hanging around waiting....Unless you wanna screw around the whole day or can afford to leave your car from 9 am till 6 , when they close choose different location. Their shop in Aberdeen is much faster and more professional , they just would not do alignment.They finance through CFNA , and if you call them it takes forever(SLOOW again huh) to reach customer service rep to pay your bill or correct your information. read more

I have had several issues with this place and they've made up for it which kept me returning. Yesterday they broke the last straw. They told my wife 1-1.5 hrs to change the oil, took them 4+ hrs then they returned the car with a dirty seat, black soot all over it. They said they will shampoo it but will require another half a day. After we get the seats taken care of we're not coming back. Today I told my co-workers about this story, they were baffled. Then I told them about another experience with commercial that absolutely blew their mind. I think I need to share this story with you since my co-workers are blown away. I think it was last year, I brought my car into commercial because the four tires I bought from them wore completely out in fifteen thousand miles. They were rotated multiple times as advised and they were I believe 45000 mile tires, might have been more. Commercial says they have to check the alignment. They call me later that day saying they can't warranty it because the rear tires are off spec and that's why the tires wore fast. I looked at the invoice they gave me and they were in or really close to spec, i believe the range is .5 mm give or take .25 mm and mine were in the .7-.75 range, so they offered a small discount and I believe a discount off the alignment. I had them do the alignment, they called me saying the rear suspension was rusted and they couldn't align it and up forcing a bolt to a point where it broke and they told me the whole arm needed replacing because of this bolt. After going back and forth contending that they broke it therefore should pay for it they settled with splitting the cost half way. My friends today were like "WAIT, THEY BROKE IT AND THEY MADE YOU PAY FOR IT?". yup, they sure did. read more

We were on our way from Northern California in our 28ft RV. We had a major blowout at 5pm on a Saturday night, 7 miles out of Pocatello. We had our RV towed to Commercial Tire that evening and Patrick was there at 6:30am on a Sunday morning to change out our 2 blown tires (rear driver's side) so we could get to Yellowstone. Patrick was right on time and VERY professional.
