Les Schwab has always been my go to if i had any tire issues, but today is the last time i will do business with them. In the past, I've used them to put air in my tires after winter, because it sits in my garage during that time. They would come out and put air in my tires and from then on, i would get air in any time i needed at their shop. Today i called, and having bought a small compressor, it failed me today and I ended up with a flat tire. My first thought was call Les Schwab! Guy gets on the phone and informs me they would be happy to help me out, but it will cost me $59.00. Are you people out of your mind? Who pays $59.00 to put air in their tire when your not that far from my house? This isn't L.A! Needless to say, I will never call them again or go to their shop. I've been a loyal customer as well as my family and parents. Now they lost us all. How pathetic. $59.00!! I can only bet Les is rolling in his grave at the way his customer service has gone to crap. read more

Went to Les Schwab at 4020 Yellowstone Ave,Pocatello, ID 83202 for a leaking valve stem in a new tire that was purchased elsewhere. Not only did they squeeze me in to a very busy schedule for the day and fix the stem, but they did NOT charge me at all for the service! Took my truck in today to have a trip check. I will be driving through a poten tial winter storm - over 500 miles - so this trip check is important. They looked over my vehicle and it passed with flying snowflakes. However, my chains were not the right size. I had never used them and so I did not know. The tire place that had sold this set of chains to me were in another state, and they screwed up. To make a long story short, the Les guys traded them for a size that fits - at a huge discount. Not 100% sure how I feel about this location. I could be a little paranoid, but I believe they have taken advantage of the fact that I am a young female that doesn't know much about cars. They said my struts were shot and that I should change them very very soon, and quoted me $600. My grandpa is a very credible mechanic so I had him check it out and he said the struts are perfectly fine and will last the life time of the car. In a previous interaction I had purchased 4 brand new tires with them because of one tire not staying inflated (but due to keeping equal wear on the tires I understood why I could need all 4) but then they insisted I needed all new lug nuts which I'm a bit dubious about... They told me that it's my specific car or brand or something that just has poorly designed lug nuts. I drive a 2014 Ford sedan. A couple weeks later the same line was used on my mom who drives a 2008 GMC SUV. Same thing about it just being this car's poor design. We have extremely different cars, very different sizes, and obviously different makes. So that's not really adding up. I gave 3 stars instead of 1 cuz I'm not 100% confident that they have any malicious intent or are trying to rip me off, however, I am very suspicious and will personally be going to a different location or entirely different store from now on. But all the working men there I have ever interacted with were friendly and kind (even if they were maybe possibly ripping me off) but there is a blonde woman who works at the desk there who is constantly pretty unfriendly to both me and her coworkers, but maybe her coworkers deserve it, and maybe I've just always caught her on a rough day, who knows. But she kinda acts like she'd rather be on fire than help me, which is an especially crappy feeling when im already stressed about my car and uncomfortable. However, I will also say, I bought all new tires in I believe January for about $875, and to get one tire replaced today it only cost me $55 which was so relieving. And when I drove off I could hear something was not right, so I brought it back to them and they removed a couple rocks from somewhere in my wheel free of charge, fixing that sound. (The sound only occurred at 20+mph which is why they didn't notice it themselves) I believe the work that they do is good, I'm just not sure if all the work they do is necessary, so I'd recommend getting a second opinion when they tell you about problems on the car, specifically if you're a young female. read more

I wrote a review about this company, and over inflating tires on our car, I got a message to go to a link and fill out a form, I did never heard anything back from Nate. I have since checked my numbers with my husband, it was 40,000 warranty on the tires and he had 30,000 on them, never the less his still had another 10,000 under warranty. Still the same. It's the fact that they where under warranty and the store was over inflating them when rotating them causing the middle to ware like they did. That store should have Pos on work done to that car. I sent you my personal email, have not heard back from you. We have an F350 that we take to that store,checked tires on it where all 15 lbs over inflated as well. I went in for a brake inspection. I told them immediately that I wanted to stop the squeaking on my front brakes. After waiting 45 minutes, the worker came in and didnt talk about the brakes at all. he only wanted to talk about tires. I tried to ask about brakes, but he said he wouldnt do the brakes unless I got tires. I feel like they dont listen to what their customers want. I wont be returning. read more

They say if you buy from only one company for an extended period you probably are being "taken advantage of" and should shop around. I did that and came running back to Les Schwab. Excellent customer service, hard working employees and they stand behind their work. Why go anywhere else? read more

pocatello schwab has a blonde with a ridiculous short hair cut that really was irritated that I stopped in to get a tire repaired. After dealing with her short tempered attitude taking my info she then tells me it would be an hour...just to look at my tire. She needs a serious course in personality when dealing with paying customers. won't be back!!!!! read more

I had new tires put on my car. They did a good job with that but they broke a small plastic piece that covers the center on the rim. Instead of just telling me they tried to ignore it. When I noticed the piece was missing I called them about and went to pick it up. They tried to super glued most of it. I got there and they gave me the excuse that they didn't want to put it back on because some of the tab were broken and they were afraid of it falling off. They could have just been up front and honest that it had broken when they were removing it. read more

My van recently got a flat. We took it to our normal dealership and were told our rim and tire needed to be replaced. We shopped around and got quoted so many different prices. It was stressful because everything was going to cost so much! For one tire! Thankfully, we got a second opinion on the tire. Angel was absolutely amazing. Checked everything and showed me what was wrong with the tire, which was only about a five minute fix! I couldn't believe it. I just really wanted to say thank you to this business for doing what's right and taking care of their customers. read more

Great service! We were on a road trip from Montana to california when the tire on the sedan we were towing behind our Uhaul shredded. We pulled out at the first exit and turned into the gas station to assess the damage. The tire needed to be replaced, so I Yelped the closest tire store and gave them a call. The gentleman who answered the phone was very polite and addressed our need to get back on the road. Les Schwab was able to send a technician to us and he switched the tire out fast. We were back on the road in no time. Great service and great customer service! read more

Our family was traveling through from out of state and had a valve stem blowout. We pulled tire, left stranded car on the asphalt, and went to Walmart where we bought the tires due to road hazard coverage. They said they had 7 people in front of us so it would be at least 3 hours before they could get to us even given our emergency situation. Given our need to finish our travels and our concerns the car could be towed where we left it, we opted to go to this nearby Les Schwab who took care of us in 20 minutes and only charged me for the valve stem. Ryker did a great job running out and getting right on it when I explained the situation. After I put the tire on, the TPMS light was still on so I drove back over to Les Schwab to have it checked. Ian ran out and updated pressure in all 4 tires right away and explained how to get the sensor to reset. I was quickly back on my way with no additional charge. The lady at the counter (didn't see her name) was also friendly and empathetic. I know Les Schwab may cost a little more, but their quick and friendly service will cause me to think when I need tires again. Turned a tough day into a good customer experience! I have purchased 3 sets of tires and 1 set of wheels from this store in the past year. I was getting ready to go on a 10 hr drive to Washington and stopped in to get my tires rotated. there was 1 customer in the lobby and 3 technicians standing in the shop doing nothing, 1 technician was changing tires on the 1 customers car, i was told that my wait would be an hour. I then asked if I could get it done any sooner as i was pressed for time and was told that 45 minutes was the soonest I could get in. Needless to say I took my car to another tire shop (not Les Schwab) and got the tires rotated in 20 minutes, And they didn't even charge me to rotate my Les Schwab tires. I was really hoping that they would get me in sooner and hopefully there was a good reason this happened, something that I did not or could not see. Larry L. read more

Took my car in for a tire rotation. I was told there was a strut leaking really bad and needed replaced immediately. I took my car to someone I trust and he said it was barely leaking and didn't need replaced yet. Not happy to be lied to. read more

They never disappoint me on services and prices. I have been going to this location for over 20 years. I have never felt like they have taken advantage of or spoken down to me. Like some other places have. They have throughout the years gone above and beyond my expectations! From Changing a flat on my car where I left it While I was at work to special ordering a replacement rim. I recently had to finance through them. This to was a great experience as well. I loved the convince of making my payments over the phone. They even sent me an email confirmation. Thanks Linda and all the guys there! Keep up the great work. My mom came down from northern Idaho and had the plastic from under her passenger side wheel well falling down from a bolt that was loose. We sat in the shop for over an hour and the woman hadn't even taken the keys back to have the car pulled in. Other customers were coming in and getting their cars services AFTER we had arrived. They FINALLY took the car back and it was back there for no less than 5 minutes and all they did was zip tie the plastic back up. This location is awful for customer service and service period!. I will NEVER take my car to this location again. read more

I had to get my tire pressure checked and I stopped by this Les Schwab. They were not terribly busy and I was greeted moments after entering. I asked if I could just get my tire pressure check and the gal told me to pull up to the middle bay and they would help me. The nice man came out, put air in them, and checked the pressure and I asked what it costed me, and he said nothing with a smile. Horrible customer service! Abysmal timeliness! I'm sure if you don't have another thing going, then maybe this place will work for you. We pulled in with a flat. At any other Les Schwab we would have been in and out in 15 minutes max. Four cars in the entire parking lot, two in the bays, and and an hour and a half later we are still fourth down on the list. We finally changed it ourselves and will go back for real service at the Les Schwab in Burley, ID where those boys know how to move! read more
