I ordered a matcha, and it came out looking grey instead of green. It tasted extremely watered down and nothing like a proper matcha. They didn't have strawberry, which was disappointing. My girlfriend ordered a coffee and she didn't enjoy hers either. The food was decent, but my pesto chicken sandwich was dry. What really ruined the experience, though, was the service. The first cashier we dealt with was rude, dismissive, and had a terrible attitude. The only positive interaction we had was with the person from the kitchen who brought out our food they were kind and professional. After I didn't like my drink, my girlfriend went to exchange it for a chai latte. While she was standing by the counter looking at the menu, the cashier snapped at her and told her with an attitude that she didn't need to stand there and that the drink would be brought out. We sat back down and waited over 15 minutes, even though we had placed the request before other customers started coming in. Then the cashier came back and asked for our order again, also with attitude, as if it had never been taken. When the replacement drink finally came, it was just dropped off at the table without a word. As a same-sex couple and also being Hispanic, we did not feel welcomed here at all. The looks and overall energy made us feel uncomfortable and out of place. I hate leaving negative reviews, but between the poor drinks, mediocre food, and some of the worst customer service I've experienced at a coffee shop, I will not be coming back. A complete waste of money.

A great add-on as I go to the Post Office, Bank, or other errands. It's going to be my little secret to try everything on the menu. I was guided on this trip by Thierry whose recipes and recommendations were perfection - Vermont Latte, Ratatouille, and a pastry to go. I chose the safe quiche Lorraine to begin this journey. It was delicious, however, I think there is greater depth in Thierry's future recommendations. The orange juice was even perfect. For the wives of families/husbands who prefer fast food and chain restaurants, you can still have it all. Linen table cloths and pink linen napkins. See you there!

Since we were going to be in the Millsboro, DE area, I was not sure I would find anything unique or interesting. I came across Kaisy's Delights on Yelp. The reviews were pretty good, and the most recent one I saw was about three months old. After looking at the menu and reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the place immediately caught our attention. The building used to be a small bank, and the interior still has the original vault, which makes it really interesting. A young couple with a small child walked in just ahead of us, and the owner invited both of us into the vault. He showed us pictures and shared the story of his family and how the restaurant came to be, along with the inspiration behind the food. My wife ordered the Sweetie Kaiserschmarrn, and I ordered the Skier's Kaiserschmarrn. Kaiserschmarrn is a fluffy, caramelized Austrian shredded pancake, often called Emperor's Mess. It is made from a thick batter with separated eggs, torn into pieces while cooking, and served with powdered sugar and fruit. It has a light, almost soufflé-like texture. My order also came with two sausages. The meal was excellent. The owner was very interactive and enjoyable to talk with. My wife and I both grew up around restaurants, so we tend to notice the details. The place was very clean. The table setting and dining ware were simple and nice. The presentation of the Kaiserschmarrn looked like a mess, which is exactly how it is supposed to look, and it tasted wonderful. We really enjoyed both the food and the conversation. Hearing the owner's story and how he got to where he is today made the experience even better. I would highly recommend giving Kaisy's Delights a try. There are a few more items on the menu I would like to try, and we will be going back.

On this visit, I tried the Blueberry Banana Smoothie and the Turkey Sandwich at their cafe. The smoothie was incredible, vibrant purple, perfectly thick. The turkey sandwich was equally impressive; the bread was toasted to a perfect golden brown, and the balance of the melted cheese and sauce made for a great brunch. Beyond the cafe, it's the perfect spot to grab some fresh fruits and baked goods for home. Definitely a local gem!

There were lots of options, but…read moremany of the things we could find at a grocery store with better prices and potentially better quality. The peaches were hard which was a disapointment. We were hoping to find peaches that were more ripe because they were local. We found about two peaches that were a little softer but they had no smell. I was suprised that there were so few local items. If I wanted goods made in PA, I'd go to PA. I asked which produce items were local and it sounded like almost none of them. You can get baked goods, produce, bottled and jarred items like pickes, candy, meats, and "homemade" deli items. There were plants for purchase, some outdoor furniture, and a cafe. The best part of the place ended up being the animals. We fed some goats and took a phot with the large bull statue. I think this would be a great place to bring kids to see the animals. I don't think it's worth the drive if you're staying on the coast because it's mostly grocery store quality produce and items you can get for less elsewhere. But, if you need something to do with kids and you're close by, it's worth a stop.
