Oh my goodness, we absolutely love Nylas. This has become our go to special date night spot when we don't want to head downtown but still want something that feels elevated and special. The service is always impeccable and the atmosphere is so cozy and inviting. It just feels like a place you can settle into and actually enjoy your night together without any rush. The food is truly out of this world. I hate mushrooms with a passion, but their mushroom bisque is probably one of the best soups I have ever had. I never thought I would say that about anything with mushrooms in it. The steak served on the hot plate is also such a great touch and makes the whole experience feel even more special. And the not so famous yet chocolate cake absolutely should be, because it is divine. We always leave happy and already talking about when we can come back. We also love the Italian house they own right next door, which is another great option when we are in the mood for something different. It's August of 2026 and the whole area around here appears to be under construction, which means there's no parking within walking distance other than the $12 valet (Gratuity not included per the sign). They were very nice, sitting us quickly after our arrival for our reservation while there were people waiting. We then sat for 20 minutes before anyone asked us if we'd been helped yet. This was as the large group to one side of us, and others, saw their server 3 or 4 times. Since we had plenty of time to read the menus we put in drinks (Rosy Cheek & Old Fashioned) and an app (zucchini fries) as well as our entrees (salmon and pork belly, both with the wedge) The drinks were good! The old fashioned was slightly smaller than I'd want for $15 but it's Westfield. The zucchini fries were ok, the breading lacked flavor and we were charged $1 for an extra 1/2 ounce of aioli. The salmon had a spicier seasoning on it than we expected, but the orzo didn't have much? The pork belly was good, maybe a little more sauce than you'd expect but the sticky rice helped get most of it sopped up. In the end, it's not somewhere we'll come back. Our dinner group met up at Nylas on a very rainy Tuesday for the early bird dinner ( yes even cool kids do it) , large group of eight. Our table was ready and the Manger himself took us to our seats. This adorable three story red barn was dripping in charm and homey vibes. We sat on the second floor, we didn't know it had stairs or we would have asked for a first floor , a few of the group are not great on stairs, but as a team we made it work. Plus note is that there is a bathroom on the second floor. Speaking of the bathroom it did feel very much like a airplane bathroom, a litte Claustrophobic. The early bird dinner is the way to go, three course for a great price. We started by getting the deviled eggs and the mushroom soup. Both were amazing, the soup was so creamy and the eggs had just the right amount of firmness. I had fried chicken which was the best I have had in the Indy area. My husband had stroganoff and he felt like it was made by someone's granny. I also tasted the pork belly, and it was out of this work good. My wife, my daughter, and I ventured to Nyla's to try their "Early Bird Special" menu items. You get a three course meal before 6 pm for $25 per person. My wife ordered the Nyla's Wedge Salad for her first course and remarked how tasty it was. I had the Mushroom Cream Soup and it was the best I've ever had. Highly recommend you try it. My wife's second course was the Mushroom Burgundy Chicken. It consisted of a rich and savory red wine reduction, tenderized chicken, asparagus, and garlic mash potatoes. My wife loved it. For my second course I ordered the Chicken Milanese. It was served with tenderized & breaded chicken with a creamy lemon butter sauce, capers, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Very tasty and the portions were larger than expected. My daughter ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich. It was served with crispy fried marinated chicken breast, Swiss cheese, ranch aioli, candied bacon, crispy shallots, lettuce and tomato on a Challah bun. I went to Nyla's with my husband to celebrate an anniversary and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere is super cozy and the food is delicious. We lucked out with the Early Bird menu - three courses for $25 before 6 pm. The standout dish was the mushroom burgundy chicken. Incredibly satisfying and savory with depth of flavor- perfect for a winter night. The s'mores crème brûlée was also delightful. Our server (Hogan, I think) was excellent and attentive to my gluten allergy. He suggested several dishes that were gluten free and recommended modifications. He was busy making drinks and helping others, but checked on us throughout the night. Our drinks were great too. My husband enjoyed the espresso martini and said it seemed to be high quality. The Aviation cocktail tasted like a sweet tart, but in a good way. We would definitely visit more often if we lived closer, but will keep it in mind when we venture north of downtown. The construction outside did make parking a bit more challenging but there are options a block away. My only downside was we got cheesecake to go to enjoy when we got home. When we went to dig in, the cheesecake had taken on other food flavors and had a onion taste. (Like it wasn't covered in the fridge in the restaurant.) I am French and Russian and I ate and traveled the world and ate at countless 5 starts restaurants and some of the most renowned places. Decided to go to Nyla's spontaneously, since I live next door and decided to finally venture in. I was very pleasantly surprised how cute the place was inside. And the food selection. Parking can be tough since it's on a normal 2 lane road without a parking lot. Down the road though there's a large space to park. The staff were more than friendly and super accommodating. We sat upstairs and I loved it! There's a bar up there and it was perfectly quiet for friends to catch up. Service: Our server's name was Luke, and he did an outstanding job explaining the menu and kept us well supplied all night with drinks and food. But there's where the visit went flat - our food was very good but didn't meet the mark when considering the high price point. I tried their Manhattan drink and it was delicious to me, I tasted the sweet cherry! - i love bourbon with cherry esp maraschino cherry! For our meal, we had sea bass w/ cauliflower risotto and broccolini, my husband had a chicken milanese w/ mashed potatoes and broccolini and wedge salad for all of us! The size portion was generous!! I love how the cauliflower risotto idea instead of regular risotto! For dessert, we went for the apple crumbs .
