Exterior of building. In the plaza with the library.

What a quaint little coffee shop. Perfect for a yummy breakfast or a light lunch. Close to the civic offices and the public library - This little restaurant is perfect if you need a good cup of coffee. The aroma of bacon is what drew is in. We have the bacon egg and cheese breakfast bagel and the sausage gravy with biscuits. The bacon was cut so thick and was super delicious. The sausage gravy was the perfect level of spice and such fluffy biscuits. We finished breakfast off with fresh squeezed lemonade and a of course hot coffee - which by the way was also very very good This is a great little restaurant for the city.

Food was great, it was a brunch menu, so we family styled-- fish and chips, and the breakfast burger which had egg and bacon in it-- delicious and filling. The kids had their Mac and cheese and burger which they demolished. The mimosas hit the spot. Highly recommend coming here, it's about 40mins away from Nashville. But Clarksville downtown is super cute to check out too!

Now it's got so many extra oils and toppings that are extraneous. When you end up mixing them in they don't actually do anything substantial to the flavor profile. I wish they'd yield back with the out of place accoutrements and let the star of the show be their excellent soup. The salad was perfection after some changes! I ordered the Cobb. The grilled chicken had that genuine grilled taste. I had them hold the egg and avocado on the Cobb and sub out the ranch for their house strawberry vinaigrette. Star of the meal! Their house mule cocktail was excellent. Perfectly made, I just wish my lime hadn't been so...dehydrated. My husband has the salmon and the only thing he could say was it was okay but a little dry. Our waitress was very pleasant but very apologetic. We had to wait a good ten minutes before I finally had to get up and go find a high chair. When you have a wiggly two year old and it isn't busy at all it was just inconvenient having to get up and wander around to find one myself while she chatted with the table departing behind us. This was my third visit to Strawberry Alley in the last four years. I would come here again for drinks with friends but probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

It can be really busy at prime times. (For the whole extended family group, we pretty much always place the order to-go, to avoid a long wait for a table. When busy, the sound level is pretty high. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. The sushi continues to be very tasty. It turns out that I tried a ramen (picture attached) here about 2.5 years ago. But I didn't remember it. So, more recently, I tried another one of their ramen (Tonkotsu Black). I found it to have a great depth of flavor. However, I didn't like it as much as any of the ramen at a restaurant closer to my house (that I reviewed recently). Since the rest of the folks I go here with like to get the sushi, I'm happy to go along and eat way too much delicious sushi (sashimi and rolls).

Looked like just our table because the place isn't rundown. Service was prompt and caring. Brought forks over without having to ask. Great server, noticed and took care of any need before it was pointed out or we asked. All the dishes we saw were well prepared and fresh to order. Just the right amount of kick to the spicy miso ramen. Fabulous place to come back to. When it is warmer we will try the sushi menu.

My first thought when we walked in was that the restaurant must be busy all the time, and the tips good, because they had several servers whizzing around taking care of their customers. Good beer and drinks are a given (several house brews), but the food was amazing. We ordered fried green tomatoes (pimento cheese on top) and roasted brussel sprouts, so we could nibble as we drank. Then for dinner: the prime rib au jus sandwich, the Reuben, the Patty Melt, and the Cletus (Southern through and through). Our Toddler ordered the baked Mac N Cheese (good sized serving and looked delicious--lots of cheese and perfectly browned--and a side of fruit). Everyone was happy!

It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.

I stopped in looking for authentic Egyptian food instead of the typical Americanized "Mediterranean…read moregrill" experience, and this place genuinely stood out. The Alexandrian liver was the highlight of the meal. I've had liver before in traditional American-style dishes, and this was completely different. The flavor was spicy, layered, rich, and deeply savory with a lot of complexity from the seasoning. Most importantly, there was absolutely none of the metallic taste that usually comes with liver, which tells me the kitchen really knows how to prepare it properly. The bread was warmed rather than toasted, and while I personally prefer a little less bread so the flavor of the meat comes through even stronger, the bread had absorbed the juices and spices well and gave it a very authentic street-food feel. The kofta platter was also excellent and clearly not generic gyro-shop food. The seasoning profile was warmer, smokier, and more spice-forward, and the tahini paired really well with the grilled meat and rice. I also tried the Om Ali dessert, which tasted rich, homemade, and authentic. The cream, butter, coconut, and almonds gave it a rustic comfort-food quality that felt much more traditional than a polished American dessert. Overall, this restaurant feels like a real Egyptian kitchen preserving its identity instead of watering everything down for mass appeal. The Alexandrian liver alone is worth coming back for

She was amazing! She went above and beyond to make my B-Day special! It was just me & my man. We've never been to this restaurant before. We parked directly across from the Shelby's Trio. Walked in & took the 2nd floor elevator. We were greeted by the hostess & other servers. There was a rose on each table. The booth & chairs are cushioned. They have wine list menu, app/entree menu, & dessert menu! I got the spaghetti bolognese. It was good! Bread is soft! The appetizer - Stuffed Shells were great! Like fried food! I got the 2nd cocktail on the list. La something. It wasn't bad! My man ordered the Walker mule & didn't taste much alcohol compared to mine. He finished that one faster than usual. We got a huge cheesecake slice with drizzled strawberry sauce. Order extra if you get that'. Otherwise it's really basic. The chocolate with whip cream baileys & espresso was amazing! My man isn't a chocolate fan & thought it was great! Server boxed my food! Highly recommend going at least once for dinner! They do run out of some things like Tortellini but it is a Sunday. So they just stock up on Mondays or Tuesdays. The bathrooms were clean! So clean that the seat was up & I almost fell in. I'm not use to a Sunday night toilet being cleaned up. They have the option to air dry or use paper towels. They have a basket next to the toilets but for sanitary reasons, I think they need something with a cover. We ain't at home & I don't want to see it. lol
