There were attendants gesturing where to park which was helpful. After parking, there's a small shopping area where you can purchase baking and dip mixes, meat, eggs, jams, honey, and more. This is also where you can purchase empty bags for apple picking. You can pay with credit card or cash here. I tried the maple syrup breakfast sausage links and they were delicious, but definitely on the sweeter side. There is also a food truck where you can get apple cider donuts, and there were baby cows to see too! After exiting the shopping area, you can ride a wagon with straw bales over to the other area of the farm, or you can walk. It's a bit of a hike so I would recommend riding the wagon. The next area has so many activities: pumpkin patch, apple picking, paintball shooting, bouncy mats for children, and other little games and activities for children. There were so many photo spots as well. My favorite activity was the apple cannon, where you can pay $5 (cash, credit card, or venmo) for a bucket of apples, load them into a cannon, and blast them into old cars. The cannon is SUPER loud so bring ear plugs or ear protection -- my ears still hurt a little bit the next day. There was also live music and a couple food stands selling items such as apple cider and walking tacos. If you walk a little further you'll reach rows and rows of apple trees, sorted by type with clear signage. There were a handful of varieties to choose from, such as honeycrisp, sweet tango, sno-sweet, and crab apples. There were a lot of bees and mushed apples on the ground so I would wear appropriate clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.

We liked the lower area but the front was a total mess and took way more time than it needed to. Pretty disappointed. Hopefully they can fix the front area before next season. When we contacted both the catering manager and the owner, to discuss the details of the food we wanted, we were told one of the menus they provided was not an option. (The menu that we wanted to use). The owner was extremely unprofessional. She openly admitted she had made a mistake by sending the menu and "learned her lesson". When I then asked about using my deposit toward salads for the wedding, grooms supper or if I could use it for a future graduation party, I was rudely told NO. AND she would not reimburse my deposit, even tho she admitted that she was at fault. They handled this situation unprofessionally and in a rude manner. There is usually some coupon or deal going on each week. You can't beat the prices are so SO affordable for a farmers market. I'm always sad when it's over for the season. They have kids activities the first Saturday of the month and give away something free to the kids. There is usually live music and at least 10 vendors selling everything from meat and eggs, to bread, jams, honey and popcorn to fresh veggies. I have been visiting this place for decades, and I really love the way it is evolved well staying true to its roots. You need to have products that have been grown or made within a certain radius of Saint Paul. When I first started visiting, it was mainly growers, but as a farmers markets have expanded in the Twin Cities, some farmers have gone elsewhere. That means we are seeing more vendors of other types of food. People who forge mushrooms, people who make their own cheese. Bee keepers. The world's best pierogies. Tibetan dumplings.
