I've been wanting to come here for a while, but it's always jam packed when I do so I never get a chance to make it in. I was able to finally eat here today with my mom and it was really really good! Walking in, they have a wonderful patio dining area that was packed on a Friday which was impressive. Since we didn't want to eat outside, we went inside and it was very nice and were seated immediately. They have a bar area to sit at along with plenty of tables which we got to choose from when seated. I love how it's decorated here, it really added to the ambience. I went with the Huervos Rancheros and my mom got a veggie omelet. Both had generous portions and overall, were quite good. My mom enjoyed her meal and I tried her diced potatos. They were good but could've used some seasoning. My Huevos Rancheros was good, but a bit on the colder side, like it had been out for a while. I will say, they were able to substitute the Chirizo with Chicken, which was just okay. Not bad, just average. Our morning began cold and damp until welcomed into a warm ambiance of greenery. Grass blocks adorned every empty wall, both a brunch house and Minecraft staple. Our return to Rochester was for one thing: to taste cream cheese glaze. One teensy taste to tickle my tongue turned my tum tum turbulent. One bitty bite to satisfy sagas of storytelling, and that sugary sauce was neither succulent nor sufficient. That jawn was nasty! Our waitress was kind and considerate but got our side order wrong. I do not know what took me so long, but I have been missing out on this place. You never really know if a place is good, even if it is posted here with a lot of great reviews or bragged about on social media but I knew this place would be worth the hype when I arrived and saw the line out the door. We came here on a Saturday on Mother's Day weekend and it was packed. They told me about 20 minutes, but it was more like 10. They seem very efficient here all the while not rushing people out to get in the next set of customers. The food and drinks also came out in a good time, so being busy did not keep them from running well. It is also a bit pricy here, but the food and portions are delicious and well sized. I love the ambience. It is modern and bright in here. The people working here all seemed very nice, professional, helpful, they provided great service. I did start off with the espresso martini. This was the low point of the meal. While it looked nice and had a great strong coffee flavor, it had zero sweetness whatsoever and did not improve with cream and sugar added. I would put it at the bottom half of my drink around the world espresso martini quest. But, the other drinks quite made up for it. The pomegranate mimosa and plain mimosas were wonderful. I would order both of those again. Just the regular mimosa alone was nice and seemed like a must order item. I would recommend those. One child got a smoothie which was nice and the other a beautiful tiramisu latte that was beautiful and came with a lady finger and mascarpone cream on top. My husband just got the coffee which was standard and nothing special. I love a sweet and a savory for brunch, so I ordered the fruity pebble pancakes. The batter was so lovely and sweet. I loved the bits of fruity pebbles in the batter and the sweet cream on top. I also got a chicken tender biscuit with the siracha maple on the side. It came with a nice salad, which a good dressing, but I also used the siracha maple sauce to dress it up a bit more, and it was very tasty. The biscuit also had gravy and cheese. Both of those items had nice portions and it took two people and three meals to finish it all, which is a good deal, I like nice portions. Two people got the tiramisu pancakes and one got the Monte Cristo. Everything was fabulous. I would love to come back. I think I would get the pancakes again, so well made and delicious. We've returned for another brunch at Rochester Brunch House. The atmosphere is welcoming, as is the staff. It was bustling, since it was late morning on a Sunday, but we must have timed our arrival perfectly because we didn't wait long for 2 seats at the bar. We had a really good vantage point of what was going on in the back of the house as well as the server station, which we faced. The team was hard at work and I appreciated my server who watched my coffee cup and checked in 3 times to refill it, despite having phone duty along with serving the other bar patrons. I had the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes and a Side of Bacon and hubby had the Breakfast Quesadillas. The bacon is thick sliced and was cooked to perfection - fairly crispy but chewy. The pancakes were sweet and flavorful - they were light on the cream cheese frosting which was good for me although I would have been happy with more. The quesadillas were very good - lots of flavors in every bite. They serve it with ranch dressing and salsa. Hubby asked for more salsa - we were charged $2. That was extremely high, in my opinion. I could see 50 cents or so but $2 was not appropriate for how much they serve. The service here is excellent - everyone is hustling but with a smile. It's high on the pricing but the food is good. A must do every time my daughter and I are back in MI visiting. Such a lovely restaurant inside and out, with great brunch specialties and great specialty lattes. One of our favorites is the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, which is amazing and at a price that is approachable indulgence. I prefer my eggs hard boiled and they, unlike many others, always get it right. This is a pretty place for breakfast and brunch in downtown Rochester. I ordered the chicken scramble with sourdough bread, and it was really delicious, especially the bread! Service was slow, but I went on a Sunday noon, so it was busy. Servers were nice, but my family and I waited for 30 minutes for our food to come out, which is why I took out a star. We ate outside and the weather was very nice, and the scene was peaceful and quaint. There's paid parking, except on Sundays, and you may have to drive around a bit to find a spot depending on when you go. read more

Absolutely delicious! We met with a small group today and were absolutely delighted with our choices. The brunch menu is expansive, and there is literally something for everyone. The restaurant is super cute and located in a renovated church. Love the decor and homey feel inside. Service is also prompt but not rushed. The food was wonderful. We tried the French toast, Nutella pancakes, monte cristo and breakfast burrito. All were delicious, large portions and attractively plated. Amazing breakfast spot. We stopped here again and tried the breakfast quesadilla, RBH omelet, huevos rancheros, and stuffed strawberry French toast. The breakfast quesadilla and huevos rancheros are very similar dishes. Both were absolutely spectacular. I would definitely come back and get either of those. The service here is SO good! They go above and beyond to make sure everything is correct for my order, the servers are always refilling my coffee, and the food is fantastic! I have enjoyed breakfast here several times and it is nice sitting at the bar and seeing the sunlight enter the dining area through beautiful windows in this space that was previously a church. It is also a great place to sit as I like viewing so many of the various menu offerings to consider in future visits as the server traffic to deliver orders from the kitchen travel through this location. The Eggs Benedict is very tasty and the RBH omelet is a nice portion and also delicious. If you like something sweeter, I suggest trying some of the fluffy pancake offerings that have fruit and fancy toppings. I have been fortunate to have been served by multiple servers who have all been kind and friendly. Even the manager (owners' mother) often has greeted me as well and she is very nice, welcoming, helpful, and friendly. read more

To no surprise, had an amazing visit at RBH! We went on a weekday to avoid the rush/line that accumulates on the weekends, and even though we went pretty late in the afternoon (close to close) the service was fantastic! I got my usually nutella crepes and they were of course delicious. My friends opted for the tater tot bowl, breakfast burrito (don't remember the specific one, but it's pictured below), and classic eggs benedict and everyone loved what they got. Everything is so flavorful and well made. Also very random, but they have mouth watering frappes, I don't know what it is, but everyone got one and loved. We were seated immediately, the place isn't huge but decorated very nicely and we had enough space where we didn't feel like we were sitting on top of each other. I ordered the maple chicken biscuits with breakfast potatoes and the man mosa with pineapple juice instead of orange. The biscuit was delicious, so fluffy and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. The food at this location is pretty good, classic brunch food. The lemon poppy seed pancakes were delicious and the other items were pretty standard. My main complaint is that there was not one vegan option on the brunch menu. There were barely any vegetarian options, you had to remove the meat (which I did and received my order with meat, which they had to remake). It's disappointing that they have soo many items on their menu and not one to accommodate different dietary restrictions. One person at our table did not eat and only had coffee. So this started with me meeting my long term friend that I have had for TEN years. We were talking after we had finished eating and you guys kicked us out very rudely and it was very ridiculous. I cannot believe this place. It was also very expensive for my pancakes and orange juice. 22 dollars for those two items is ridiculous plus tip!??? Off top the place is beautiful. The service was quick and elegant. The menu was very diverse and every item labeled was tempting. I had the Monte Cristo, a sandwich I rarely order since the ending of Bennigans, because no one does it right. I took a chance with this place and they hit a homerun. That raspberry dipping cup was so amazing that it should come with a straw. The maple chicken biscuits, the biscuits and gravy, the eggs Benedict, and the cheese grits were all simply delicious. There were so many other yummy sounding items that were on this menu is would need to be here a week to eat them all. No worries ive found you and will never forget you. I loved their brand of English muffins (Wolferman's bakery I believe) and eggs Benedict, but this time the eggs and Canadian bacon were overdone, and the English muffin seemed a bit different -and dry. (The menu did not identify the muffin as Wolferman's.) The pistachio latte was a unique twist on latte and very flavorful and I loved the presentation! The server was attentive and efficient. This is one of the more popular spots in downtown Rochester, just a block down from Main Street. So if you're planning to come here during peak brunch times / generally any time on the weekend, make sure to plan for quite a bit of wait time as well given that RBH doesn't accept reservations and requires that your entire party be here before adding you to the list and seating you as well. Once you are seated, prepared to exercise patience especially during those busy brunch times as I mentioned. Our service was noticeably slow and what should've probably been a one hour dining experience turned into a full two hours. It was fine because we were sitting on the patio and there was a lovely busker down the way a bit serenading us with melodic saxophone music, but by the end we were getting quite a bit restless given that it had taken a long while to come and take our drink order, then a long while again to place our food order, get our food, clear our plates, get the check, get our cards back from the check, etc. We were itching to get to the farmers market afterwards, but ended up missing it given how long the service took, so just something to beware if you have time sensitive things planned for after you dine here - make sure to pad even more room than you would've previously thought! Food-wise, everything here is very solid! Nothing majorly stand out, but just solid brunch food. The menu offers a variety of options, both sweet and savory, so you have a lot of options available to you to choose from. Can't go wrong!! read more

Food was good. They sit you practically on top of each other when they have a lot of empty tables. Felt like we couldn't have a conversation without the table next to you (18 inches away) hearing everything you say. If it's not busy, please spread out your customers. The worst part, is that the restaurant is not very well kept. There are holes in the walls in the restroom, thick dust on top of the bathroom stalls and in the entrance.
