The shop itself is relatively small and has a few tables. It's located where the old Shagf was. I stopped by for the strawberry cloud matcha. It's coconut water with a whipped strawberry matcha foam. I gave it a shake and it was one of the best matcha drinks I've had. My complaint is the size. The prices do not justify the tiny portion, this tiny cup was over $8. It's honestly getting ridiculous at this point to be shorting people so badly.

This place is located where the old Shaghf cafe was. Their Spanish latte was super bitter. They have a unique drink called the Cloud, which is coconut water topped with coffee cold foam or matching cold foam. The coffee one tasted like watery cold foam with hint of coffee flavor. It was just not for me. Their sizes are also so small for the price. Too many other good coffee shops around to give this place another try.

I came here after seeing rave reviews online about this place. I ordered their matcha cloud with vanilla flavoring and it did not disappoint! The beverage was very refreshing and extremely aesthetic! The service was great and the atmosphere was very calm and laid back.

Everything is so good! Loved the matcha with the strawberry foam! Everyone who works here is so nice and I can't wait to try more things.

This place has the best matcha I've ever had. They use quality ingredients and add a yummy twist to matcha. I highly recommend this place, 1000/10

The strawberry matcha latte is FIRE!! Also the place was clean inside and the workers were super nice! They opened recently

Before I even got to the food, the restaurant itself made a great first impression. The property is incredibly well maintained inside and out. There's a spacious outdoor patio for Michigan summer days, along with plenty of indoor seating ranging from communal tables for larger groups to individual booths if you're flying solo. It's a thoughtfully designed space that feels welcoming no matter why you're there. Now, let's talk about the food. I'll admit something that surprised me. I've been to Detroit probably 50 times, and I honestly can't remember ever hearing about a Detroit-style cheesesteak. Judging by the walls covered in awards and accolades, though, it's clearly something they're known for. The sandwich certainly sounds like a winner on paper: ribeye and sirloin, provolone and Swiss cheeses, roasted mushrooms and peppers, caramelized onions, lettuce, tomato, sweet pickled jalapeños, aioli, house-made vinaigrette, all served on a freshly baked sesame roll. I mean... what's not to love? Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a turn. The ingredients themselves are good. The flavors are there. The problem is the execution. The ratios are simply off. The freshly baked roll completely dominates the sandwich, overwhelming everything inside it. The steak gets lost between all that bread, and instead of each bite showcasing the beef, cheese, and vegetables working together, the bread becomes the star--and that's not what you want from a cheesesteak. I do want to give credit where it's due. The portions are generous, and I especially appreciated that they take the time to make their own dipping sauces for the fries. Little details like that don't go unnoticed. There are plenty of positives here, and it's easy to see why Detroit 75 Kitchen has earned such a loyal following. But as someone who takes sandwiches seriously, I think this one is technically flawed. A great sandwich is all about balance, and for me, this one never found it. I genuinely wanted to love it. This sandwich lover just couldn't get behind the way it was built.

Central Park Deli was the first restaurant on the list to participate. The article said mention the ad from Troy Times or Facebook to get the 20% off your bill. Afterwards, save your receipt to turn into the Troy school of your choice. The school that collects the most money in receipts will win $1,000 cash prize. Unfortunately the employees said no, we aren't participating in that and other customers mention this and we won't honor the discount. I showed them the FB announcement where their Deli was clearly listed and they still said No. ??? This made me frustrated. My total for a wrap, cauliflower bites, and a drink was $22. No discount. False advertising and unpleasant customer service. I posted the Facebook announcement of their restaurant listed below in my pictures. On the positive side, the deli is very clean and food was delicious. Their menu is extensive with many choices of wraps, salads, sandwiches and soup. I appreciate you can customize your wrap with a gluten-free wrap and not many delis in the area have that option.

I very much enjoyed the sandwich but the value at $17 is a little much - the height was perfect but felt the overall size was a bit lacking. Also - depending on your preference, I would probably order extra coleslaw if I ordered this sandwich again, the ratio of beef to slaw was a bit lacking. The cream of broccoli was a nice accompaniment to the sandwich but was kind of salty and a bit on the starchy side. Overall - definitely a good place for a deli sandwich just a little on the pricey side - think Zingermans without the friendly service....

There is no warmed up food service food found anywhere in this store. Paul, the owner, is almost always there. He either runs register (almost always) or he's cooking with his chef or he's washing dishes. In his spare time, which he makes feel ample, he is in the dining room waiting tables and greeting guests. This is a diner, not a coney. The sandwiches are excellent. The dinner entrees are served in dinner and lunch sizes (mostly) and breakfast there is really good! My go to is the Corned Beef Hash, which I order without the green peppers. Since we usually do brunch, it is usually enough for two, so I have leftovers the next day. I love this place. The chips are amazing. The soup is made in their kitchen. The decor is old and screams mom and pop shop--because the food makes up for the 60s diner decor. Seriously, this is my favorite place. If I had one wish, they don't do any delivery services. But if I want to go eat there? This is where I like to go. (You can pick up there if you don't have time to eat in.) Highly recommend!

I know that the businesses in the area are struggling due to construction, but our dinner did not even try to make us want a return visit. My meal said nothing on the menu about "egg" and each small shrimp with a strip of bacon was grilled with egg. Just not what I expected, especially for $25. My husband ordered the General Tsao chicken, spicy, and it had a very strong taste of "Franks" hot sauce. A weird addition to Chinese food. I will say that the egg drop soup was very good, but neither of us were happy with our $50 meal. $60 including tip. Sadly, I sensed the end of our meals at Pudges. It wasn't just the food, we also sensed unpleasant waves of a very musty, urine like smell. Sorry, Pudges, I hope things improve.
