Tried another coffee shop because I have an addiction. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted. I shared that it was my first time coming and they gave me recommendations and a sticker. Thanks! I ordered the wildflower latte and a pretzel breakfast sandwich. Both were fantastic! I'd happily order again or try some of the other enticing items on the menu. It's clean with good seating. There's tons to keep the kids occupied, which is another plus! Easy parking.

I think that Communitea genuinely lives up to its name creating a warm and inviting spot for people to meet and catch up with friends, study, or relax while enjoying yummy drinks and light bites to eat. The cashiers are always sweet and answer any questions you might have and you don't have to wait long to get your order.

Very cute and welcoming coffee shop! Love that they host community events in their space and have a partnership with the board game/card shop nearby. I wish they had more non-caffeinated options! Shaken iced tea lemonade - 5/5, not too sweet and the peach blossom tea is very nice. Definitely more on the tart side, which I enjoy.

Amazing service, ambience and drinks. That Earl Grey Matcha was something I've never experienced before and my entire family thought it was delicious. The Irish cream Cold brew was just the right amount of sweet with a very smooth coffee flavor. We also enjoyed the aesthetic presentation of the drinks. There are free water cups at the bar area. We did not get to enjoy it but they had a nice little play area for little kids inside the coffee shop as well as board games. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area. (They measure and whisk the matcha)

I visited for the first time this weekend and got a Hollaback Girl latte. The taste was great and I enjoyed it quite a bit but the price point was a little on the higher side so this is going to be more of a once-in-a-while treat for me. It's a little loud inside and there were some kids running around. Not the biggest deal but if this is a common occurrence on weekends, this isn't a place I would take a friend to hang out and talk. Otherwise, it seems like a cool spot with some interesting drinks.

Communitea is a really charming spot with a cozy, community-focused vibe. The shop is super cute and features items from independent vendors, which is a nice touch and fun to browse while you wait. I ordered The Headliner along with the green chili bacon egg burrito, and both were delicious the burrito especially was a standout. They also have a great selection of games and books to hang out with (even spotted the full Harry Potter set ), which makes it an easy place to linger. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which really adds to the overall experience. Great place to grab coffee, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Honestly was super excited to try this spot, it looked legit. The ambience is really nice and very hip. The staff were super friendly. I ordered the chai latte iced and Vietnamese cold brew. Super bummed with the drinks. The chai was literally just milk and cinnamon. Really disappointing.

An overwhelming amount of menus to look at while the staff stares you down waiting for you to decide on what you want. They raced over to help me and then seemed annoyed when I wasn't ready. I felt rushed. Coffee was fine. Tasted a bit burnt and didn't have enough syrup or milk so I had to ask for more. Still didn't have much flavor to it. Kids' play area is cute and they have monthly events, which is cool. They have plants for sale, but it's a whole process to buy them. Their merch doesn't all have pricing so don't bother with that. I like the vibe of the place, but not enough to justify coming back.

Such a nice place with a place for kids to play a little while you get your matcha or coffee fix. Came here before getting my hair done and saw that they had monthly specials. I tried the banana bread matcha which was different because on top of the cold foam they also added cinnamon. I also liked that they could make cold foam with oat milk instead of a dairy whole milk

I stopped here a few times during a recent work trip and enjoyed the coffee each day. They've got a few homemade syrups that are pretty unique - burnt sage is one that I tried. There are plenty of chairs to set up if you wanna work remote and it's a bright space. There's even some kids toys along the back wall for children to play with. I also liked the little plant stand set up by the front door. Overall, just a really homey place with friendly people working.

Such a cute little coffee and tea shop! Located in a small shopping strip next to several different shops. The moment you walk in, you'll notice a fairly large sitting area, which is great for individuals who want to just study or sit in a relatively quiet area. Additionally, out front, at least on the day I came in, people were doing a sip and paint with coffee/tea, which was really cool. The baristas were really nice and welcoming. They have a very large menu and you can tell that it was done intentionally so that all the flavors can hit all sorts of folks while being as traditional as possible. I got the honey lavendar latte with oatmilk on ice. Delicious! Definitely coming back here as soon as I can.

Talk about a hole in the wall! I was in the area for work and needed my caffeine fix, so when I found this place saw the reviews, I knew this was my stop. Once I walked in I was greeted by the friendly staff, got asked if I needed help or recommendations. All the good stuff. And most importantly the coffee tastes great! Doing a little walk around inside seems like a great place to come hang out and laugh for all ages!

It was made with bourbon reduction, maple, hickory, sea salt, and of course, espresso & milk. Although I couldn't really taste the bourbon, all the other flavors were present from the sweet maple, smokey hickory, and occasional bursts of sea salt. Oh, and a great roast of coffee. This was a coffee drink I'd come back for again and again. The pastry case looked inviting but I was stuffed from lunch so passed. But dang, they amazed me with that smokey maple latte!

There are only a few tables inside, and it seemed like most people were grabbing their drinks to go rather than staying for a while. I ordered the Vanilla Bean Latte, which was just okay. My friend ordered the Lavender Matcha and felt similarly, it was decent but nothing that particularly stood out. Service was a bit mixed. The cashier was friendly and welcoming, while the barista was less warm during our visit. Overall, it was an okay experience.

The bread is soft, the garlic flavor is just right, and the cream cheese filling brings everything together perfectly. Their coffee drinks are also consistently good. My personal favorite is the Smokin' Spaniard, probably because I'm a sucker for anything made with condensed milk. It's rich, smooth, and just sweet enough without being over the top. On a recent visit, I decided to try their new Pineapple Express. It was a hot day, and I was in the mood for something fruity and refreshing without any caffeine. It was decent - light and refreshing, though it didn't quite stand out as much as their coffee drinks for me. Overall, this is still one of my favorite bakeries and coffee spots. It's incredibly delicious and perfect this us my second day in a row here. My friend usually gets a flavored Matcha which is great, but got a Peach barley tea and said it was refreshing. The service is good, they get the drinks out fast. The menu has unique specialty options aswell. There is a good amount of seating and it's a very welcoming shop. Cons: -The sizing is very small for the price. A plain vanilla latte is $6.40 which is a bit steep. However, I understand that most cafes are pretty pricey now a day. (With that being said this is one of the only places i'd spend my money on.) -I have tried some of their specialty lattes and they are extremely sweet(I would recommend getting less sweet if youre more of a espresso person) -Parking is pretty terrible apart from early mornings Overall: The pros overlook the cons for me and I love this coffee shop! Omg! I just moved to the North OC area, and I'm happy to say I've found one of my new go-to coffee…read moreshop study spots in the area! :) I'm currently studying for a big exam, and it's been surprisingly challenging finding coffee shops to study at with the beautiful, modern, aesthetic ambience that makes me happy, without feeling anxious there won't be enough seats or space when I get there, esp since I have to drive a decent amount to get to cafes. I've been getting a little stir crazy at home and finally making the trek here was so worth it-- I felt more motivated than ever to get work done with a tasty treat. I'm not sure if it's because CSUF just started this week, or because I came on a Friday morning, but it was really spacious and open with tons of outlets (almost at each table). Not sure how other days are, but I'd love to bring my study group friends here in the future, since it's so hard to find places with enough space for study groups! Not to mention the clean bathroom haha and good wifi haha The staff here is also incredibly sweet and friendly, making it a comfortable and good experience. Because it was my first time, I asked the barista about her recommendation, and she also asked my general preferences to cater to my taste, and I ended up with a seasonal Birthday Cake Americano at half sweetness (since I don't have much of a sweet tooth). It was perfect for me! I don't usually get Americanos and have a sensitive stomach rn, but it was delicious and kind on my stomach lol. I also got a ham and cheese croissant, and maybe it could've been heated up a little more, but I did wait a bit to eat it, so it was no big deal. The other barista was also so sweet in answering my many questions haha The only struggle as others have mentioned is the parking - I ended up parking at the retail parking nearby, which had plenty of spots but can get pretty pricey, and it sounds like you can park in the areas others have mentioned still (like The Hub I guess has "New Here" parking spots or the employee parking spots?), so I'll need to look more next time. But there's quite a bit around the area within walking distance, you can easily make a day out of it too. Also since it is at the first floor of an apartment in a college town, there will be students going in and out, so just be prepared for that haha -- reminded me of dorm days, and I'm glad students have a spot like this :) Overall, the yummy coffee, amazing vibe and beautiful ambiance, especially as a study spot, alongside the kind and comfortable service has been just what I've been looking for in a coffee shop around here, and I'm excited to return! Thank you New Here!

But fear not, you can go into the structure, park in one of the "employee only" spots, and just tell them which spot and you're golden (wish I knew that before I came and parked across the street). Also, another reason why this place is great is that it's not full at all. Might be because of the parking situation, but the place is near empty which makes it have a nice luxury vibe. Their Vanilla Thesis drink at 50% sweet is soooo good. It's a great blend of coffee and tastes great. You can totally taste the vanilla. Their ham and cheese croissant is also great.
