    Chicken teriyaki

This unassuming little place was a great place to stop in for teriyaki! The takeout was ready quickly and still piping hot 10 min later when I made it back to my hotel. The person who took my order was efficient and friendly. The chicken was well charred and nicely seasoned, and came with a generous portion of rice. It was not highly sauced but came with a small teriyaki sauce on the side (I should have asked for more- I like sauce!). My only complaint is that the chicken itself was a little dry, but the flavor was great.

Neighborhood grocery and restaurant. I decided to try this place because it was close by the hotel. Snacks, beverages and Chinese. Lottery also available. This night we ordered shrimp and house fried rice . Cooked fresh to order. Pricey . Staff was friendly. Food was bland in my opinion. Great quantity! Shrimp was small and overcooked. ( no pic of food , sorry !)

Great quick teriyaki from a very local joint. Seemed to be popular in the area. No frills short ribs teriyaki was flavorful and rich in umami. I drizzled extra sauce, especially on the plain white rice. No complaints, would come back.

Really friendly staff and fast service. I ordered the Katsu Curry (Thursday Special). The flavor is good and it was basically their chicken curry over a generous portion of pork Katsu - tons of food. I would have enjoyed some big pieces of carrot in with the potatoes. I also ordered the side salad which was crispy and fresh iceberg lettuce with a thin but tasty blue cheese dressing.

I had had a long day at working a convention, and I was staying at the W hotel. I hadn't eaten in 11 hours, and looking through Yelp and DoorDash, and even room service, nothing looked good to me. I kept thinking, well, sheesh, I just want some chicken and rice. That's when I remembered the strange little convenience store next door that also seemed to have chicken and rice. I went over and it was exactly what I was in the mood for, and it's so SO good. They were also kind enough to squeeze me in just as they were closing the kitchen. But anyway. Super good, large portions and reasonable price. Five stars!

Staying at the hotel Monaco and this gem came up on yelp. I was so impressed with the quality, freshness and price! We walked 1 block and the food was prepared fresh for us. Such a hidden gem!!

I always saw this place when I was a UW student venturing out of campus to explore the city. It's at kind of an odd location and not a place I would normally go to, partly because I fear it would be sketchy (I'm a very small woman). But that's not the case at all! I was pleasantly surprised to find the inside was impeccably clean. You can tell the owner truly cares about the place and keeps it well-stocked and maintained. This is one of those hole-in-the-wall, no-frills places that are rapidly disappearing from this city. I'm disappointed in myself for not going sooner and even after one trip, feel a sort of fondness for the place. We ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki and the chicken teriyaki for a total of 30 dollars and some change, including tax. No tip option. We got it to-go and somehow, after a 30-40 commute home the food was still hot! I thought the chicken teriyaki could've used a touch more sauce but flavors were there. The spicy chicken teriyaki was mild in terms of heat. Serving sizes were generous and I'll be able to make another meal out of it. I don't think they use the same kind of salad dressing that other teriyaki joints use which was a bummer for me because I looove the salad that comes with teriyaki

In a neighborhood that's in the middle of corporate businesses, it feels good to just go to a corner store that has cheap Asian food. This is the Seattle I know outside of downtown. Getting your hot food is quick and easy. Also the staff is really nice. Please continue to support mom and pop shops like this one.

If you love "hole in the wall" restaurants with guys that seem to enjoy themselves as they cook good food. Well this place has it in spade!

Good quick service, it's a little tucked away as most places in Seattle are. The food seems to cater to more Western pallets.

Came here the past couple Fridays to get my weekend started and closing out a work week. The…read moreambiance here is intimate and the music isn't too loud which is great while sipping some beers. There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.

One of the best bottle shops in the country!…read more I've had many of Bottleworks' anniversary beers in the past because they always team up with stellar breweries to make them.. but before today I have never visited the famous shop. It's smaller than I imagined it to be but every beer inside, from the draft list to the cans and the bottles are carefully curated by the staff. We grabbed a quick beer (Hill Farmstead, which is the first time I've seen this brewery for sale in the since I started this trip 6 weeks ago and Ive been through 4 states) Then we shopped for some cans, we quickly had to refrain from buying too much as the refrigerator in our van only holds so much. We ended up with a six pack and then grabbed a mystery 4 pack on the way out (mystery 4 pack was stellar). While we're shopping they opened a sour from Jester King and shared it with us. I honestly wish I lived a bit closer (Las Vegas is kinda far) because I'd be here everyday... Honestly, they have a whole cooler just for barley wine! The staff are very knowledgeable about beer and are very hospitable. Thanks for a great experience!

Food & drink: (4/5) Ironically only one person in my six person group likes beer, with two others (including myself) who are turning around to it. With that being said, I got the american pie cider, two of my friends got various IPA's that I'm failing to remember names for, two others got root beer, and another got a kombucha. I really enjoyed my cider! It was refreshing and I would definitely get it again. As for food, we got fries with truffle oil and a monster cookie with vanilla ice cream. It was all so good! I would only say that the fries are in need of more salt but that's something I could've easily asked for (was too lazy in the moment). Service: (5/5) STELLAR staff here. Everyone is so friendly and there were all smiles when I looked around at other guests.
