    Loved the Not-A-Colata.
    Erin W.

Wow! We went a little out of the way to come here but it was totally worth it. We both got the breakfast Nordic waffles that came stuffed with egg, cheddar, and turkey bacon. The food is homemade so it takes a little longer but worth the wait. They were so delicious; like I'm probably going to dream about them. I also had a latte that was infused with their homemade lavender flavoring, which was fabulous. My bf had the Not-A-Colada, which I wanted to steal from him because it was so fresh and tasty. Also, I can't say enough about the friendly service. Such a neat spot, too, because the place is huge with several cozy nooks. Prices were great. Loved everything about it. Can't rave enough. Side note: it did look kind of dark as we drove by, so we were afraid it wasn't open...don't let that fool you!

    Such a thing of beauty!

The Nordic Waffles are amazing! I've tried both the Nutella & 7 layer bar - can you say taste of paradise!?! Love this locally owned place that has a kid's play area, comfy couches & friendly staff.

Umm coolest place ever!? Tons of awesome drinks, nummy baked goodies, salads, food, little homemade items for sale,... oh and a kids play area with a castle, slide, and other play things! Board games for the big kids (and adults) too! Super nice welcoming staff too!!!

Pastry selection (late morning, the first Saturday they were open)

I've been seeing neighbors comment on this new coffee shop in the Nextdoor app since it opened a few days ago, and all of the reviews were very positive, so I had to check it out! I got a cold brew for my husband and a ginger chai for myself (both iced). The prices were very reasonable, and we're both very happy with our drinks! I didn't stay, but there were numerous tables and chairs near the ordering area and then a separate area with couches and chairs beyond the bathrooms. The space was very clean and bright! I didn't take a picture of the beverage menu, but it seemed like standard coffeehouse fare (with a few specialties, like the ginger chai). Based on the tea selection, I think they get it from Tea Source, which is a favorite of mine! I did take pictures of the pastries and food menu, which I will post shortly... I'm excited to try some of the sandwiches :-)

    Coffee and conversation!

Good lighting and not too loud. They have all of the usual coffee options as well as several of their own concoctions. They have pastries as well as more hearty options like breakfast burritos, although when we went they were out of burritos, probably because we were there so late. They have several gluten free items, and vegan items. It looks like everything that can be sourced locally is local, and they have the providers listed on the menu. They are obviously very socially and environmentally conscious. The servers were very friendly. I had a cold press with cream which was excellent, exactly what I hoped it would be, good coffee flavor. Next time I would probably ask for less cream, but it is real cream. I also had the morning bun which was very good. It was like a cinnamon roll that was also rolled in cinnamon and sugar on the outside. My partner had a red eye which was dark roast and espresso with cream. He liked it very much. He also had a ham and cheese croissant and an apple fritter, both of which were very good. Parking is street parking which wasn't a problem when we were there but may be a problem at busier times. The interior is handicapped friendly, but again parking could be an issue. We loved it and will definitely be back.

There was only one person ahead of me, which gave me just enough time to peruse the menu on the wall, figure out where the WiFi password was listed, and break down my will enough to order that gorgeous-looking apple fritter at the top of the bakery shelf. The barista quickly assembled my large maple latte in an orange-yellow mug with that apple fritter that was calling my name, plus a large breakfast burrito. The burrito was more like an enclosed panini with sides of salsa and sour cream. While I ate 2/3rds of it, I cannot say that I enjoyed it all that much, especially for the $13 price. On the other hand, the maple latte and apple fritter were divine, if a little over-priced (although, what isn't, nowadays?). The power and Internet for the neighborhood just went out in the middle of this review, so I'm finishing through my phone hot-spot and will head on my way!

I liked how the egg salad and cucumbers balanced out the butteriness and crispiness of the croissant! It was a very filling lunch. I came with my sister and we both got different teas. She enjoyed her hojicha tea with a bit of syrup added. I really liked the Po cha / Tibetan tea which was a buttery milky tea. It definitely woke me up. :) I would recommend if you are someone who likes not too sweet, nutty, and not too bitter teas. We both enjoyed the Tibetan momos -- the meat filling ones are definitely soupier which was enjoyable. The veggie dumplings tasted better with more of the chili crisp oil. The mochi ice cream most likely used the ones from MyMochi packs but the cream was nice to have and it was a fun sweet treat! Definitely would come back with family or friends when visiting the cities again. Drinks we got at the front where we ordered but they brought food for us which was nice since we decided to stay in to eat lunch. Seems like it's a nice place to study and work and they have WiFi. The place is nicely decorated with Tibetan decor and plaques talking about the history/background which was cool. There is also better lighting / lamps along the walls if you're studying and need it.

I also loved the individual task lights above the smaller tables. It's a small detail, but it made the space feel really thoughtful. The only downside is that there isn't much natural light, so the cafe can feel a little dark, especially toward the back. The staff was the biggest disappointment. They weren't rude, but they came across as pretty standoffish, which made the experience feel less welcoming than the space itself. I ordered the light roast coffee and, unfortunately, it was pretty terrible. That said, the menu is huge with lots of different drinks and food options, so I'm sure there's something on it that would be a much better choice. I also didn't try any of the pastries, but they looked absolutely massive and definitely caught my attention. Overall, I really wanted to like this place more. The atmosphere is great and it seems like an excellent spot to work or relax for a while, but the coffee and less than welcoming service left me a little underwhelmed. I'd be willing to give it another shot and try something different from the menu.

It gets an incredible amount of natural light, which makes it a pleasant place to spend some time. I also loved that it's dog friendly. The seating, however, is a bit of a mixed bag. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. The menu is a little limited, but what I had was excellent. I ordered the light roast coffee and it was super good. I was also happy to see they carry Cardigan Donuts. If you have not had one before, they are absolutely worth trying! The biggest drawback for me was the WiFi. It was so unreliable that it made getting work done almost impossible, which is a pretty significant downside for a coffee shop. Overall, I enjoyed the coffee, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff, but the limited menu, somewhat uncomfortable seating, and especially the poor WiFi kept this from becoming one of my go to coffee shops.
