It's really made a difference in our household where the two of us work full time. For the dog park adventures, Not only is our dog having fun, but she makes sure he sticks close and doesn't wander too far from the pack. At the end of each day, she writes us a quick update on the day's events. As for boarding, Veda has taken great care of our dog for up to a week at a time. She's more affordable than the kennel we were using and our dog is much happier since he's getting attention and activity all day long.

We have a 2 year old lab who is friendly and loves to play. She had a wonderful time at first then we started to notice scratches from rough play. We mentioned it and it was sorta written off as some just play rougher than others. We started sending our dog in a t-shirt to protect her. On one pick up recently we heard our dog yelp and she was bitten on the rump by another dog and no one saw it happen. Then last week when we came to pick her up she was bitten by another dog. She was bleeding and needed 8+ stiches to repair the damage and 2 weeks of not doing anything to heal. When the pictures of the injury were shown to Constance she said that she didn't see it happen. Yet she did mention that one of the dogs get riled up and she shoudl probably figure out something to do with that dog when others are being picked up. They do not screen dogs for behaviors and what you hear most when picking up your dog is barking and them being told to be quiet. It doesn't seem like the dogs are watched enough and as everyone knows dogs can be unperdictable. So, please think before taking your dog to daycare here. They may have fun but they also may come back injured and there is nothing worse then a dog in pain.

She gives our old dog his meds at no extra charge. We can even see pictures of them on her Facebook page while we are away. We have used other places in the past and Paws a Moment is the best. In places where they are confined to a run they may be safe but I don't believe that is for the best. Here they have a large yard to run around in. Of course the dogs bark when someone comes to pick up; that is a natural behavior.

We had a good relationship with Seattle Pet Pals for a while, but circumstances with the group…read morechanged our situation. I don't know what changed, but while Seattle Pet Pals helped us very much when our dog was a puppy, we found that they weren't really equipped to handle that many dogs. Tim and Ruth were great and attentive with our dog, but their one other employee was lacksadaisical in the extreme when it came to showing up on time or walking the dog further than the end of the block. We have a very large, very happy dog and their employee was either not physically capable of working with him or didn't. Several times we got reports of the employee merely standing outside letting the dog use the bathroom, then hurrying to the next appointment after smoking a cigarette. Seattle Pet Pals gets two stars because while Tim and Ruth themselves are dedicated, honest, good workers with animals, they had an employee who got caught short changing our dog for the service they provided. When we brought it up, we were told that was the only employee they had and they simply couldn't provide service without them. At that point we regretfully had to terminate service - but not after our dog had sat in his own feces for six hours one day in his crate because their employee hadn't walked him for more than five minutes. In this case, it's simple subtraction - I give a place five stars. One star subtracted for the crate incident. One star subtracted for the employee who failed to provide service. One star subtracted for the service's unwillingness to listen to their customers. The simple fact is that Tim and Ruth are great people with dogs and this situation may have been avoidable from our end as well; but we simply could not trust their employee to do more than let the dog out for five minutes instead of the thirty-minute walk we had contracted for.

The Situation: Last minute holiday plans had us scrambling to find our 10-month old puppy a place…read moreto stay. The Pup: She's as shy as they come, wary of strangers and oftentimes fearful. This makes it incredibly difficult to leave her with a regular boarding service or at those fun-looking, ranch-type places. The Answer: We found Seattle Pet Pals and knew immediately that this was the place we'd been looking for. Tim was perfectly thorough on our first phone conversation and asked all the right questions. He inquired about her demeanor, character, socialization, training, allergies, etc. Upon pickup, Ruth was very tuned in to our girl and all of her quirkiness. You could tell Ruth was a professional dog trainer in the way she interacted with our pup. What I most appreciated was how she allowed time for our puppy to feel comfortable and relaxed, even if it took 35 minutes. The Parents: We actually enjoyed our vacation! We were as worry-free as we knew how and are so happy that we have finally found THE PLACE ... after 3 long months of trial & error!
