Let me set the scene anyway: at this point, Maisie has unionized with Alwyn's crew against us. She has clearly decided that her real family goes on daily hikes and wrestles puppies in a yard all day and we're just the people who pay for it and walk her on non-hiking days like amateurs. The HHH setup is simple: morning pickup, a hike (which basically puts them in "work" mode), followed by "day care" which really just means a bunch of dogs absolutely losing their minds in a big open yard, running, wrestling, generally living their best lives. Then drop off, for us it is around 3 to 4pm, with a tired/cuddly dog who is ready for a meal and a nap. And on days we can't make it home in time, the crew will let Maisie into the house, who then goes and eats the food we left out and finds her bed like she owns the place. Alwyn and her whole crew are fantastic, warm, attentive, clearly actual dog people and not just people with a car and a business license. Maisie adores every single one of them, especially Kris. We actually ran into Kris on a totally unrelated walk one day and Maisie almost lost her mind and then locked in and snapped right into perfect "walking" mode, which says a lot about how well that crew handles her on the daily. We've been doing this for about three years now, and it remains one of the best recurring decisions we've made as dog owners

Today at the park, my dog came when called on the whistle every time I called him. Yesterday, we took a 20 minute loose-leash walk... these things was unimaginable two months ago when we first met with her. Andrea is empathetic, patient, realistic and relatable. No shaming here. We have met with three other trainers, two of them insisting that my dog was "too far gone", one refusing to work with him-- not the case with Andrea. A shock collar was discovered on my dog jammed so tight on his neck that both my husband and the male employee had significant difficulty removing it. The employee at pickup did not disclose the use and was going to allow us to leave with this collar still on our dog. There was no communication during his stay that this type of discplinary action was necessary and it was a complete shock, since we have used the boarding service several times and our dog's behavior has only been praised. A single finger couldn't even fit underneath it. The employee on duty had to physically choke, pull, and wrestle my dog to get it off causing him severe distress, flailing, and yelping. He was inside of an unsupervised crate with this device and staff have not disclosed how many days this device was used. We have tried to communicate with the owner directly, and have been told three very different explanations regarding the use which shows deception and lying. Leaving an improperly fitted, high-pressure correction tool jammed on a confined dog unattended, with zero shift logging or handler handoff is negligence, plain and simple. When confronted with these safety failures, the owner doubled down with deflection rather than addressing why my dog was wrongly subjected to unmonitored equipment and choking under their roof. Formal complaints has been filed with Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC), along with deceptive business practice reports with the WA Attorney General. Save your dogs the trauma and avoid sending your dog to this facility.

I did some quick searching and noted that this clinic had easy online scheduling and an appointment that was two days out. Online paperwork was simple and straightforward to fill out, and I was able to send in previous vaccination records. Paperwork was easy, clinic was effortless (the exam rooms are right off of the waiting room, and you can pay in the exam room rather than going to the desk afterwards - I really appreciated not having to wrangle nervous dog and credit card simultaneously.) Dog liked the vet well enough, even after his vaccinations! They were great about updating his Rxs and they were straightforward about explaining all the costs for exam, vaccinations, bloodwork, etc. We declined the bloodwork as it was quite expensive but the exam and vaccination pricing seemed inline with the previous vets we've had in the bay area.

It is a very welcoming space. Booking an appointment was easy and the front desk staff and the vet techs are amazing. Beyond that? I'm not sure I'd return. The level of care has been inconsistent. Either my cat receives the best care or I am given incorrect guidance that could have harmed my pet if I listened to the vet who managed by a chart instead of looking at the animal. Either I was listened to carefully or disregarded completely. The first time I left feeling confident and the second time confused. The first time I felt like they cared about my cat and the second time I felt more like the objective was add-on services. After going to the cat clinic and being told that the information given me was incorrect and potentially damaging I realized I would not return. I need a clinic that cares for my cats and listens to me. I am not convinced I can get that here every time.

The company's website has incorrect daily pricing (website says $35/day whereas they told me when I arrived in person the pricing is $65/day and they didn't share the revised pricing with me even when we corresponded over email until I came for a tour in the middle of a work day). The disregard for my time and the bait-and-switch pricing is nothing short of a scam and is a completely unethical. To make matters worse; we scheduled the tour because we were looking for a boarding place for our dog. I was informed upon arrival that all dogs must have done day camp for 15 days (about $1,000 and three weeks of time) before they can be boarded. Also not disclosed on the website or via multiple email prior to our visit. It's a shame because the facility seems nice and the employees seemed otherwise helpful and professional. Unfortunately I can't convince myself to do business with them given the shady business practice. Over three months to update their website is no longer reasonable. Update: Just noticed their Facebook also isn't updated for services and pricing. Completely dishonest.
