First off: they refused to put on the Broncos game and we were told it was a "Packers only joint". Which was odd. Most sports bars allow any and all games to be displayed. My hubby & his parents & our son came to grab a bite for dinner. It has a lively atmosphere. Very attentive servers. There was a slight issue with my burger not being well-done but the manager Elena totally handled the situation quickly and professionally & swaped it out for Avocado tacos (which were delicious). The food was awesome. I don't know what kind of seasoning they use on their tots, but it was perfect (tasted like Ranch dressing". Besides my burger, everything else was perfectly cooked & very delicious. Fair prices too. We'll definitely be back when we're up that way. read more

I eat here occasionally and have always gotten good service and good food. The servers are always cheerful and enthusiastic. This is primarily a sports bar but they also have some booths along one wall, and a variety of sandwiches, salads, and Mexican food; also the Biscuit Bar is now located here and you can order lots of yummy biscuit dishes (until 2 PM). My favorites here are the Wild BBQ Burger, the B.L.A.T. (bacon lettuce avocade and tomato, although I always hold the avocado so it's a delicious BLT), and the chicken burrito. From the Biscuit Bar menu I like the Denver Scramble (eggs scrambled with ham, and potatoes and a biscuit) and the Mudrock's Big Breakfast (a sampler). Their biscuits are huge and dense and almost a meal in themselves; they are served split and grilled. I've also had the cinnamon roll, which is fresh baked and yummy; it is medium sized, so it's a good dessert. read more

We stopped in to watch the game (Vikings/Packers) but arrived after the game had started so all the seats in the main bar area were taken. We ordered a couple beers and fries. The fries were amazing and the beer was nice and cold. The prices were higher than we expected so didn't order more but things that went by our table looked and smelled good. read more

5 of us met for drinks and dinner tonight. To our delight it was also trivia night and the competition was fierce!!! (We came in last... but we tried hard! Lol) the food our group ordered was: cheeseburger, the Rueben, chicken quesadilla, salads and home made chips. All of the food was delicious and our special requests were delivered just perfectly. Our server was really kind and friendly. Murphy's was really busy last night and it was harder to get our servers attention in order to update our drinks. Ordered a burrito bowl with pork. For $15 I thought I would get more than four pieces of pulled pork. Lots of sauce, onions and peppers. And a few beans. Almost no pork. Very disappointing. What was even more disappointing was the drink I had. Asked for a tequila and soda with squeezed lime. A double. Casamigos tequila. They used lime juice and no tequila was apparently added. None that I could taste. Or notice any effect, which one would think with a double shot, one might notice the tequila. The biggest rub was the drink was $18.00!!!! A less than mediocre meal and drink for $36.00! The only thing positive was that the wait person was very polite. Don't waste your time or money at this place unless you plan to drink beer during happy hour. read more

So, I wasn't expecting much because we ordered delivery - BUT, I was so wrong! Everything we got was hot but not soggy/gross, super fresh testing and absolutely gorgeous. This is going to be my new go-to for burgers & fries delivery. We got a fish sandwich with Mac and cheese - the fish was breaded and fried to the most perfect deep brown with fresh veggies on a fluffy roll. The mac was a step above what restaurants usually serve as a Mac side. We also got a bacon bbq cheeseburger with fries. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the fries were still hot and crispy when they arrived - not a single limp fry in the box. Lastly, we got a mushroom burger with fries and coleslaw and a side salad. It was odd that a mushroom burger would have lettuce and tomato on it, instead of mushroom, onion, melted cheese, etc. But it was still awesome. The bun was fluffy and crispy from the grill, which obv made the burger taste even better. The fries were spectacular, and I'm not even a fry lover. I usually skip the fries because most restaurants have trash fries. Not this place. And the salad was super fresh - not a hint of brown lettuce like is so common everywhere else. The care and quality that went into this food was so obvious, and I appreciated the heck out of it. It was a nice change from the sad food other places serve. This place feels like a family-friendly, family-owned sports bar I might have gone to growing up in the 80s. The difference is that the TVs are much nicer, and the beer list is actually pretty good (over two dozen choices on tap, representing a wide range of breweries and styles, changing regularly). It's kind of crazy how all over the map the reviews for this place are. We had a solid experience, very friendly & attentive service, and decent food. Updating my review after having home base nearby for over a year: Mudrocks is one of the only places with a somewhat late kitchen scene, and both staff and clientele that are genuine in their kindness. Sure, this doesn't make the food come from an award winning kitchen, but the deals are great, drinks solid and convenience superior. Louisville has a few gems that are refreshing to the Boulder pretentiousness, and Mudrocks helps me clear my mind when BoCo feels stuffy. read more

Living in Louisville I have been a patron of this place when it was Buff Brothers and a few times as Mudrock's . A friend and I stopped in for a sandwich and a beer for dinner. Our waitress only had 3 booths to attend to so there was no reason for the service to be as bad as it was. I ordered a burger with raw onions, fries and a beer and my friend ordered a Rueben with tater tots. Our food took forever for such a simple order. When it arrived the tater tots were room temperature and the Rueben was soggy underneath indicating that our order sat for a while. My burger was minus the onion rings so I beckoned the waitress. When I told her my onions were missing she looked at my open face burger and inquired as to whether they might be hiding under the patty. So I lifted my room temperature burger patty to satisfy her suspicion that I might be hiding the onions under the patty. The burger was dry, the bun was hard and stale and the service was terrible. All I can say is goodbye Mudrock's you have slid too far for me. read more

2nd visit was much better than the first. The service and beer selection are what earned Mudrock's 4 starts. If it was up to just the food it would just be a 3. I had the blackened chicken Caesar salad. The romaine was fresh and crisp and their dressing was delicious. However, the chicken was barely seasoned and certainly not blackened. Also, it was chopped and cold leading me to think that it was not cooked to order and just tossed into the salad. My kids had sliders and tots and were happy. Nice to see people at the bar and tables on a Thursday night. Not my number one pick but easy with the kids and always good for a decent beer. I'd come back again but not be in a rush. read more

My girlfriend and I are frequent customers. We went there for lunch and ordered a beer and mimosa while we were looking at the menu. We still were undecided and had a sip left in our drinks and a half mimosa. To save the waiter time we went ahead and ordered another round of drinks, but he would not serve us until we finished. I had one sip left. I have been to this establishment 1000 times and have never received such judgey and negative treatment. Maybe he doesn't like money? maybe there's a new rule you can only consume one beverage at a time? We cashed out and didn't order anything else. I have probably spent 5k at Mudrocks in the past year and they just lost my business forever. Disrespectful and rude. I won't be going back. I encourage anyone to venture out and try something wayyyy better in Louisville and Lafayette because this place doesn't treat their customers right, way over priced, and overall I dont know how they are still in business. read more
