I'm 66 years old and I just "graduated" from my 2nd, 36-visit term with Fyzical Therapy and Balance…read moreCenter, in Schaumburg. This all started with my 100lb Bernese Mountain Dog playing before I took him for a walk. as he was screwing around with our other dog, he wrapped his lease around my ankles and pulled! This caused me to lose my balance and I fell down 8 stairs to the tile floor at the bottom! Not good and Ouch! I fractured my femur and broke my hip! My out-patient recovery started with Fyzical and the entire Fyzical staff was very welcoming, and caring, as I was wheeled into my first visit. From my client care specialist, Ally, who handled all of my many appointment changes, to my Therapists, Mariola DPT, Roberta PTA and Shelby DPT., everyone was excellent!! The Therapists pushed me during exercises, helping to increase leg strength, stability, stamina, mobility and range of motion. After four, (count that 4!!), surgeries on the SAME HIP (that's a whole other story), this recovery has been very difficult! The process began with an initial visit assessing my condition. We then engaged a full range of separate exercises to build more strength, and increase balance and stability. As I was able to handle more difficult exercises and develop more strength and stamina, the staff changed it up with different strength equipment, and light weights. They were also focusing on increasing my range of motion and mobility. After our final visit, Shelby DPT and I agreed that we had progressed to about an 85% improvement, since the initial visit! I did not think this type of progress could even be possible, when I was carted in their door for the first time! I have moved from wheel chair, to walker, to standing with a cane, and now I can walk freely with little need for the cane. We moved from pain levels of "7-8-9" t out of 10, to "1-2" out of 10!! Overall I think Fyzical has been a Godsend for me. And I will continue with the exercises provided, to get stronger with even more stamina, and stability. My goal was to walk again (check), hang with my grandchildren with limited pain (check), and play golf (I'm working on it!). Thank you for all your efforts... Sean H

I went here at Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates with high expectations of receiving a different kind…read moreof therapy as advertised. Unfortunately it was the total opposite of what was expected or advertised. I had shoulder surgery almost a year ago but was still dogged with chronic pain and after 4 months of rigorous therapy I didn't find much relief. After my 1st consultation here even after I explained in detail to the supposed therapist, I was started on the same basics of physical therapy like stretching and shrugging. When I inquired about manual therapy and focusing on the specific pain points, I was given a look like I was a raving lunatic. The receptionist acts as a part time therapist too since there is only one therapist posted there and I even doubt if she's been licensed as one since I didn't see any kind of certification or diploma anywhere in sight. Highly disappointed.

I have just completed my second round of physical therapy at the Schaumburg location. Dr. Denise…read moreSchneider has provided the best post op care on both of my shoulders (2018 & 2019). Because of the fine care I received, I am happy to report that I am now able to resume all of my previous activities. I give my highest recommendation to Dr. Schneider and the staff at DPT Schaumburg. Scheduling and changing appointments couldn't be easier. I will certainly return to this facility for any future physical therapy needs. As an added bonus, there is a Starbucks within walking distance!

I am writing this on behalf of my mom. She has been going here for her therapy post knee…read morereplacement. She loves the staff. They are patient, kind, and update me on her progress and tell me what to look out for at home without me having to ask. Sometimes my mom doesn't want to go because she hurts so much (she also has RA), but they completely understand the pain she has and they help her get through it. She always comes out smiling. This place was recommended to her through someone at her church. I definitely recommend them too! The location is great (downtown Roselle) and the office is beautiful. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my mom!

This is without a doubt the best place to go when you need to get anything back in shape. I've…read morebeen a patient twice, once for a shoulder injury and once for a knee. This place rocks and the reason is the people. First of all, everyone is incredibly knowledgeable in their field. Christy is my go to for PT. She knows when to push me and when to hold back, especially on those days when I just don't have enough gas in me to push hard. She's always coming up with new ideas or adaptations on other exercises to help me get better. The rest of the staff is amazing as well. Personable and professional, they are always right there to lend a hand. No one EVER says "not my job" because everyone pitches in with one goal, patient care. Paul runs a great care facility, Kathy is always right there to help with setting up equipment and getting me going, and Laurie not only helps with all that, but somehow manages to navigate the crazy world of my insurance. I hope you DON'T need PT, but if you do there's only one place to go in my opinion and that's Lifestyle.

They make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Very clean environment. And my therapist, Julia, was absolutely fantastic. I seen her work with patients of all ages. Works very well with everyone she sees. Makes you relax and builds rapport with you in an instant. Lucky you if she is working with you. Better yet, ask for her. Terrific place and terrific therapists. If I ever need their services again, it'll be Athletico and Julia. If you need therapy that's where you need to be.

My mother who is in her late 70s and doesn't speak great English was being seen for knee…read morereplacement therapy. The pt she worked with Rama Khatib - was very aggressive in her treatment , but backed off a bit when told she was causing pain. She backed off so much that my mother progressed very little. She was also observed to be rude to my mother as she was frustrated. My mom can't speak great English but is not dumb - and could see Rama being much more kind to her other patients and left my mom on the bike for 30 minutes without much intervention or care. Rama and I spoke to each other several times - and she didn't say much - except 'that's what I'm saying' when I would point things out that my mom needed to improve. Would never return here and never recommend to anyone.

I've had care from Interated Physical Medicine in Roselle on and off for 18 months. I'm on Medicare…read moreand after I received MRI from an Ortho, they approved IPM for me to get Physical Therapy. Dale did his own Xrays and showed me all the structures on the screen with green and red lines for me to see what the normal position and curves should be, with both sets of tests. The team there is Dale Mraz DC and his assistant Ellen O'Malley. The treatment plan from Dr. Dale who's certified in BioPhysics, has resulted in my neck moving "back over my shoulders", no radiating pain in my left arm and no need to apply CBD pain gel daily. My low back is much less painful by doing core strengthening exercises and micro current electric stimulation around L4 at each visit. Ellen supervises positioning the repetitions to ensure proper alignment and follow through. They both are always very welcoming, manage several patients in the PT space like a well oiled machine and I truly enjoy going and having their company when I'm there. I highly recommend them to any patient, any age for whatever ails you!
