Met with some friends for a family dinner and it was a great experience! The waiter was able to handle 12 people all on his own with some minor assistance which was impressive. My friends order the fondue and they loved it. They serve it with bread and apples. For my main dish I had the ragú sauce and a pear tart for dessert. The big room for big parties does not provide a pretty view of the bay. If you seat in the main area you can see the bay and if you plan it right, you can catch the sunset. Perfect for a date!
Amazing experience at COMO this past Wednesday! I actually live just down the street but I had yet to try this place out as it seemed a bit fancy from the outside. We had a large group of 10 from work make reservations so we got to order an assortment of dishes. Our server was excellent. She was very attentive and efficient. While I was slightly disappointed they ran out of Osso Bucco, every other dish including the special short ribs was on par. Now I'll definitely have to come back to try their Osso Bucco! The decor is clean minimalist and the views are amazing. If you park, make sure to get your ticket validated by the host station to cover 1hr. Parking is $5/hr and we were there for just over 2 hrs.
We had such a wonderful dinner experience here! We had the focaccia bread to start. Can't go wrong with focaccia. For our main course we tried the Tajarin and crab risotto. Both were absolutely delicious. Decent portion sizes. My favorite with the Tajarin. The noodles were light and flavorful, and the truffles were a perfect addition. For dessert we had the fragoline - a strawberry cake with a scoop of strawberry ice cream. Tasted super fresh! The location itself is beautiful. Right on Lake Washington. We were there on a gray day, but I'm sure the sunset views are phenomenal. Parking is in the parking garage just underneath. Como validates. Our server was friendly and balanced the perfect amount of checking in with us, refilling drinks, and giving us time to catch up. We were celebrating both of our birthdays and they brought out these gorgeous sparklers with our dessert. The whole experience made for a memorable birthday celebration. We left with full stomachs and full hearts. Thank you, Como!
Very average. I expected soooo much more. Our meal was extremely salty with overcooked pasta. Their servers were extremely slow and wait staff were not so friendly. Waited +10 minutes after seated for someone to acknowledge us. Our dining table was extremely wobbly. Tiny water glasses and no refills. View is excellent, grab a drink and skip the food.
Como is a cute spot for dinner. Restaurant is always busy, so highly recommend reservations, especially summer time! The restaurant is next to the lake and has a dock for boats to park at. It also has a patio, which is dog friendly. The ambience is very Italian feel. The service is good, no complaints there. For the food , I think that it was ok. Nothing spectacular. I ordered the salsiccia pizza. The pizza crust was thicker than expected and a bit soggy. Wasn't the Italian pizza style that I've had before. Others in the group got pasta. They definitely give bigger portions and could be shared family style. We also got appetizers. I would skip the tomato paste focaccia the next time since there wasn't really anything to it.
It's been a while since my last visit to Como and I am pleased to report that although people's reviews have been pretty hard on their service, they do seem to have it together as of this review. I chose Como as my birthday dinner spot and was so glad I did, it still gets very noisy and I wish there was a little more consideration by others to just chill on the screaming across the table but it took nothing away from the food so lets get to it! Charred Octopus 5/5 a beautiful dish with octopus, cannellini beans and beautifully dressed frisee but the star was the octopus and rightly so! It was by far the best cooked octopus I have had in a long long time and infused beautifully, hats off to the chef! Parsnip Soup 5/5 I can never say no to a parsnip soup and I rarely ever have soup with my dinner but this was beautifully done, perfection in everything and the hazelnuts just added a level of yum I was not expecting. Our waitress was so considerate that she brought over tiny little bowls so we could all share a little, so sweet! Funghi Pizza 5/5 I tell you what the fontina and scamorza are just... I don't think I can go back to regular pizza. Lovely pizza that did not pull any punches, the flavors indeed were smack you in the face good! Tajarin 5/5 I will never not order this delicate pasta, it made me fall in love with Como and I will continue to come just for this beauty of a dish Risotto Al Zafferano 5/5 surprise surprise... I was hoping for a good risotto dish and with three options I didn't know if I made the right decision, but oh wow the saffron infused risotto was beyond what I hoped for, you did not have to search for the saffron and the plump juicy prawns were plentiful. A great dish perfect for sharing Paccheri 5/5 Oh the family loved this one! The pasta was beautifully cooked and tossed in a savory delight of oxtail and chili, the stew itself was the star and the pasta just carried it home, very comforting without being heavy a beautiful plate of food All in all a great night at Como, I will say, a little tongue in cheek, that I had hoped to get a free birthday tiramisu but I WILL BE BACK, hopefully sooner than last time
Solid experience at Como for the first time. Beautiful views for the summer over the water and you can even take a lovely walk afterwards. Parking is hard to find - unless you want to pay. I came here for a table of 3 for dinner on a Saturday. We asked for a table outside to enjoy the views but it was full and we had to wait. Luckily we were offered a table in the "lounge" area where we could sit and enjoy a drink before hand. We ordered a variety of items to share - including burrata, pizza, pasta and some cocktails/wine. I thought most of the food was great, the prices are high for the portion sizing but overall an enjoyable experience. Drinks are also on the high-end of pricing despite being average/lower pricing elsewhere ($15 for an Aperol spritz). Service was also a bit lacking once we were moved outside. I think our waitress came by a few times but overall, left us alone and we had to wave someone down to place more drink orders. For everything we ordered, we paid $210 altogether before taxes and tip for 3 people (which is on the high end imo).
We decided to have Valentine's day dinner at Como. We love the view and and the location on the water. Definitely need reservations, we had reservations and were seated quickly. We got Chioggia Beets, Pappardelle, and Goat Cheese Tortellini. I also got Harry's Bellini and liked it a lot. The Chioggia Beets were great, loved the ricotta that came with it. Pappardelle came with wild boar ragu and has a little spice to it. It's one of the best wild boar preparations we have had in the Seattle area, recommend it. Goat Cheese Tortellini was great, the raisins were a pleasant surprise. For dessert we got Pan Di Spagna. We loved it, the chocolate hazelnut combo done right always works, this one was perfect. The chocolate gelato with it was amazing. We loved our meal and will be back for more.
This was my second time visiting Como, my first visit was 2.5 years ago. After my first visit, while the view was spectacular I wasn't the biggest fan of the food. After my visit today, my opinion has totally changed! Como is an excellent spot with delicious dishes and the best views on the east side. While pricey, the quality of the ingredients are excellent and make a difference. The server was juggling multiple tables but did a great job. We sat outside until the sun set and got a bit chilly, they were very accommodating and move us inside. The outdoor space is fantastic! Overall enjoyed and looking forward to the next visit. Standouts: Calamari, Insalada Mista, Prosciutto, Truffle pasta, salmon
Well, the restaurant is highly recommended by a good friend. I'm not sure if they don't have much choice, but it seems like they have really good restaurants in Bellevue so I was kind of surprised when they highly recommended it. I mean, I was surprised after dinner. Dinner was just OK, a little better than average. Not great. We had many of the starters, including the Dungeness crab salad. (it first came without the crab and we had to send it back.), Christine's with cheese, focaccia (not warm or fresh tasting), baked spinach(very good) , chickpea salad (very good), carpaccio (OK but wouldn't order again) We went on two pasta dishes, the boor (which was recommended, but too heavy for my taste), and the tagliarini with spot prawns (good taste, but way too few prawns) We finished with dessert of the crostata de pere (delicious pear, delicacy with a hard crust), and the ricotta pistachio cake. (which was also really amazing.) So on the Whole, service was a bit slow, but good, appetizers and entrées were overrated, and dessert was underrated. I can see why people like it, the setting is just gorgeous, overlooking a marina on a lake. Windows are open and you get the fresh breeze the whole time you're there. Fantastic location! The service and location at Como are definitely the highlights. It's right by the water with beautiful views, which makes it a great spot to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe is nice. That said, the food was disappointing, especially as someone who loves Italian food. The dishes lacked flavor and didn't quite live up to the setting or the price point. I really wanted to love this place because everything else is there, but the food just missed the mark for me. Worth visiting for the views and service, but I'd manage expectations when it comes to the food.
Tried this place couple years ago , and we loved everything, we came back and the menu has changed . The taste changed too . Service was great , can't complain about that . Atmosphere is really romantic for a date . But I'm kinda disappointed on some of the plates that came out . Specially the ravioli that they serve now . It's sitting in butter and super oily. The shrimp that came out with the pasta was not really fresh . It's a really good place but I think they changed their chef for sure .
Excellent food, breathtaking views, first class service, and creative cocktails, Como is a gem. Every seat in the house has a view of the lake, and the overall ambience is perfect for a date night or get together with friends. Get reservations and come hungry, the only downside will be having to choose a small part of the menu.

The food here was amazing. I am quite picky about my pasta and the flavors that come with it and the pasta here was just so good and well served. The dish in the photo is called Tarjin, some sort of a truffle pasta. Would recommend, very filling but still light and delicious! Lovely place for dinner with nice views & great service. The food is good as well. Great spot to walk along the water afterward and enjoy the scenery. Parking is validated in the underground garage across the street which is nice. read more

AHHHHH the Service was so bad, we didn't even know our waitress' name . No hello, how are you- or check ins. No water refills. They also forgot the bread. My friend spilled water so we went up to the hostess (since our waitress didn't check on us once) to ask for a cloth. 20 mins passed, nothing. Apparently, after my friend had alerted the hostess, she checked her phone and went back to doing nothing. GUYS I wish I was joking . I went up and kindly asked if she was able to get the cloth/paper towel. Finally, another waitress brought us the cloth but seemed irritated!! Eek . Fast forward, our OG no name waitress slammed the check on the table without saying a single word and just walked away (no it wasn't busy). The food was 7/10 , not a slam dunk but we appreciated the good food. The "interim manager" said that the patio was busy so that was why we didn't get the service we paid for. Sad. Good food with even better views. For appetizers, we ordered the calamari and beef carpaccio. The calamari is tossed in a tomato sauce that is light and refreshing. They also brought us focaccia bread; this tasted stale, and we did not realize that this was something they charged for until we got the bill. We also ordered the risotto with crab meat, which ended up being my favorite dish. It was very creamy and cheesy. The pappardelle was also good; the wild boar did not taste gamey at all. read more

Great food and great views! This is definitely a more fancy spot, and is perfect for a special dining experience. We came right as they opened on a Wednesday and there were already so many people waiting in line to get in -- definitely speaks to the popularity of this spot. The inside is gorgeous and has floor to ceiling windows with a waterfront view, and there's also outdoor seating if you prefer that. We started off with drinks, and I got the Harry's bellini which was basically a peach bellini. It was quite strong, but tasted great :) For food, we shared a few items and I got to try the focaccia with sundried tomato spread, calamari, salsiccia pizza, and truffle pizza. Everything was SO delicious! Out of all the items though, I'd say the salsiccia pizza was my favorite -- it had such a good balance of flavors on a nicely cooked crust. Stunning views and good eats. First time at Como and walked away with good impressions. Como is located on the water in Carillion Point which provides stunning lake views, especially during sunset. This restaurant does get busy and I recommend reservations. Despite our set reservation time, we still had to wait 20 minutes longer for our table to be ready. Their waiting area is right by their pasta making station where you can watch a chef roll out pasta sheets. Views from our table and the vibe were amazing. Service was prompt and our server friendly. The menu offered offered an excellent selection of antipasti, pizza, and entrees. We started with the prosciutto di parma and roasted pork belly to share. I also ordered a Vieux Carre to go with appetizers. The prosciutto was served with burrata and was a great combo of flavors. The pork belly, burried under a mountain of frisee, was tender and flavorful. The frisee and spring onion mustarda cuts through the richness of the pork belly. The Vieux Carre was perfectly made. It is a challenge to find restaurant that serves this drink and it's a delight the bartenders at Como know how to make it. I opted for the Tagliatelle Carbonara for my main entree and ordered a vesper martini for my second drink. The pasta was freshly made and al dente. The guanciale was perfectly cooked and generously topped with parmesan. The meal concluded with a serving of limoncello and rich and decadent tiramisu. The service was on point and meal was phenomenal. Marking this restaurant a must return especially during summer. read more
Had our anniversary family dinner here at Como on a beautiful day. They did not disappoint. The restaurant had this seaside Mediterranean ambiance with the windows and doors open to the breeze and the lake. It was a gorgeous day to have dinner here. However maybe clean your window sills guys. Tables, plates and silverware were clean as heck, thought they might have an autoclave back there with how our utensils looked... Their service was exceptional with plates cleared promptly and the waiter checking often but not so much that he was bothering us. Family ordered four dishes: Kids split their carbonara and man it looked good. A good simple Italian pasta that was magnificent. Especially with their load of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside guancaile. Fricken fabulous. I had their gnocchi because I've never had it and it looked beautiful. I could not think of a dish that was prettier. The gnocchi had great color, tasted good, but I don't know it was missing something. Maybe a little salt? How would I know it was my first time, but those pretty red micro greens with the golden red sauce and perfect little gnocchi bites.... I did not regret. Kids pasta tho tasted mwah compared to it though. I think maybe because the dish was soft on soft on soft. Needed some texture to balance those fluffy balls of beauty. Wife had a papperdelle boar ragu. I think they must be nose to hoof here because it looked like the whole boar was on my wife's plate. Heck all their plates had huge servings. I could just barely finish mine... after finishing my kids. It was a pasta dish that went full carnivore. It also tasted good but maybe missing something? We also had their octopus uh... salad? Koreans love their tentacled dishes so I loved it. It was also a looker and the puréed parsnips were silkier than a tommy Bahamas island shirt. For all the above and a couple adult beverages the bill came to about 150 bucks with a hefty tip for their great service. While the food was good, it didn't have the wow factor in taste but was still great and it was money well spent. The few Italian places I've gone to where I thought the food tasted better were almost double the price so those place definitely makes my list. Beautiful dishes, pretty restaurant, just missing that one additional pop of flavor. 4.26.23 Stopped by after my appointment in Kirkland. We didn't have a reservation, but luckily we were seated right away. The host was super friendly and nice. He was also pay attention to our table refilling our water and cleaned up empty plate when restaurant got busier. It was sunny and gorgeous date, and we have enjoyed our dinner with great view. Restaurant was almost full around 6pm. We tried their octopus and it was very soft and nicely cooked. My pasta Cavatelli was also delicious. We would love to try their pizza next time! read more
The restaurant itself is beautiful. The service impeccable. The food delicious. The only downside was how absolutely loud it was in there. Very hard to hear the person sitting next to you. It's intimate but you'll need to shout to your fellow diner. The other downside was that everyone else's food was amazing and my Halibut and potatoes weren't that great. The halibut lacked seasoning, the potatoes were so dry and needed salt. read more

Loved this place! First, the views are just incredible and the restaurant itself is very trendy! The service was also pretty good, but it's more of a casual place if you're looking for a special occasion restaurant. Everything was super delicious! We got the focaccia bread and creamed spinach for apps and tagliatelle beef ragu and braised short ribs for the mains. The beef in both of the main dishes were cooked perfectly - tender and flavorful! I loved their cocktail as well! read more

what a restaurant *heart eyes* Location & interior design is a 10/10. Feels like you are diving into Italy. also make sure you make a reservation if you want to go at busy time. Food: Okay so much to review here! Overall what I realized all the food was mid. Nothing special and probably won't come back here for the food specifically but probably just the views and vibes! And maybe just some light appetizers. Bufala Mozzarella: Average mozzarella and tomato pizza. Really plain and honestly had no flavor or sizzle to even remember how it tasted. Felt dry and plain. Alba Truffle: 1st reaction to this pizza was that it was extremely cold. The burrata on top made the pizzas temperature cool down quickly before it came to our table. Overall if the pizza was warmer it probably would of made a statement but unfortunately it did not. Pappardelle: Actually not bad. One thing was that the noodles were stuck together and felt like they were cooked throughly. The sauce was actually good, seasoned well! Crab Risotto: Nothing special. Risotto topped with crab. Tiramisu: I really had high hopes for this desert:( unfortunately it did disappoint. Maybe they made this desert to in advance and it wasn't fresh anymore but it was just not it. It was dry and the cream didn't moisten the dryness of the cake. Overall I have made better tiramisu. Save you money don't get this. Tartufo Affagato: This desert was actually a table favorite. Smooth, dark chocolate. Topped with a strong and dark coffee. Coffee lovers with love this desert. Overall food was not it. And it wasn't one thing that was like eh is was mostly all the dishes that had the same vibe. Maybe we are too Americanized to understand the Italian culture and their art of food. But the food was overall a 4/10. Servers: We had a total of 3 that were so helpful and honestly just doing there job. Not overly sweet but just straight to the point servers. One was the main, taking our order, etc. The second one filled out cups, took away plates, cleaned. The third was a floater, helped bring food. Overall, good organization everyone has a role and know what they are doing! read more
I wish Yelp had half stars because my rating would've been 3.5! :) The location and ambience is fantastic but just focusing on food and service in my review. I was with a group of 7 and the service was great , they were helpful and very politely pushed us to place orders, which I appreciated! Personally, I hate when people take forever to place orders- it's rude and could cause backs-ups especially if there's another reservation for the table! For apps, we had the burrata, carciofi (fried artichokes) and gem lettuce. All were very tasty and like many others have mentioned- the fired artichokes was delicious! Depending on how hungry one is, I'd say the serving size is good for 4 people max. I ordered the pappardelle and was a bit disappointed. There seemed to be more protein than pasta which was a bit surprising since usually it's the opposite. To me, the pasta was also a a bit hard, not quite al dente. I knew I should've ordered the tajarin instead! However, the other pasta dishes my colleagues ordered looked amazing! Looking forward to trying other dishes, especially their pizza! read more

The scenery here is the absolute best you can get on the East side. This was an absolutely stunning dinner with a beautiful view and was super grateful for the great seats they provided us. Me and my mom were enjoying our walk when we passed by this place and knew we had to go. We snagged reservations for 3 at 7:30 and were surprised that we were given the best seats in the restaurant!! The place was beautiful, the inside was super simple, though the restaurant itself was very noisy. It was more of a casual place and less of a place to take a date due to the loud ambiance. The service was okay, though it took a couple minutes to snag a waiter for some extra salt. For the food overall I thought it was decent, our meals tasted very fresh and had good flavor but there wasn't any quantity to the food that wowed me. The prices here were also very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food, the views, and the service!! I would definitely recommend this place for their fantastic views, though be warned of the noise. read more

I love this restaurant! It has everything I like and look for when picking out nice places to eat! Delicious food, good atmosphere, pretty interior, great view and nice service! Como has all of the above. I've been here multiple times for dinner and it's always been a wonderful dining experience. Loved all the pasta dishes, the noodles are a little bit more on the al dente side but that's how I like my pasta! The only thing is the bread service is not complimentary like most other Italian restaurants, you have to order it on the side. The appetizers change with season I believe because I've tried different salad/appetizer plates and they were always all so fresh and flavorful! I highly recommend Como! You can't beat this nice waterfront view and beautiful interior. read more
My friend and i are from Vancouver, BC and stayed in bellevu for a weekend away (we love the shopping and vibes). we decided to explore a new area and found this stunning spot on instagram. The aesthetics are beautiful. Mix of Italy and with the white interior and arches, it was giving greece too! We sat down and got Aperol Spritz which were delicious! I got a stuffed Ravilio that was like a 7/10, and my friend loved her beef pasta (she'd give it a 9/10). Now where the points are dropped is the service. They stuck us in the corner of the bar, and to make matters worse, the bartender was SO rude and mean. This sweet younger ginger kid was working helping out with drinks and serving and the bartender visible yelled "CAN U HURRY UP?!" to him. First off, you don't treat your employees like that, second, never do that in front of paying customers! I would maybe go back but also open to trying other spots when i'm down there. read more
The interior and the views are beautiful but the actual food was disappointing :( Drinks - I tried the Harry's Bellini ($12), SUPER sweet Apps & Sides: -Lopez Island Clams ($17) - Extremely Salty -Focaccia ($3) - nicely plated, focaccia was okay -Buratta ($16) - this was interesting. I've definitely had better burrata, this was was gummy and gooey as opposed to having a nice solid fresh exterior/creamy interior. The melons were an interesting accompaniment. Entrees: -Ravioli ($24) - pretty and liked the local mushrooms and fava beans but again, not a ton of flavor -Truffle Pizza ($26) - the crust was sort of dense and grainy. Truffle shavings on too were a nice touch but the pie as a whole just lacked flavor. -Halibut ($32) - didn't try this but my friend commented on its dryness Located in downtown Kirkland, park in the nearby parking structure as they validate parking. read more
Came here for the pasta but would come back for the PIZZA!! Their alba truffle was heaven-sent... loved the huge truffle shavings, the light and creamy truffle crema, the perfectly salty porchetta, and the DOUGH which was such a perfecttt texture. I'll be thinking about this pizza for some time... As far as pastas go, I dont know if its because we got the pastas after this 10/10 pizza, but they were a bit lackluster. Carbonara seemed to be missing something though I appreciate that they use guanciale. Papardelle was nothing special. read more

Beautiful spot for a meal! Decent food although service was a little slow. Location: Not too much street parking. It does seem like there's a hotel with valet next door, but we opted to Uber in. Food: food was decent! we ordered a few dishes including the calamari and some pasta. A little over priced but worth it for the view. Service: Service was okay, not the most attentive but decent. Atmosphere: the restaurant is right on the water, and if you can get a table on the balcony, you'll get the best view. read more

I really wanted to love this restaurant, and that's not to say that I didn't enjoy the ambience. I felt like I was in a different country with the interior design. The weight staff is very unwelcoming, and you could tell by the greeter table at the entrance of the restaurant itself. We ordered several appetizers and a pasta dish. While the plating was thoughtful, the food was mediocre at best. I felt like the octopus was too salty and the pork belly was paired with too many sweet accompaniments. The gnocchi was served in a ceramic bowl, and was bubbling when it came out however, this left an over cooked pasta that had that left me wanting more in terms of texture. read more

The views and ambiance are amazing because it's right by the water. The food took kind of long to arrive but was still good. The service was not top tier and we had to ask multiple times for requests we've already made (like more water or ordering a drink). But I would go here for a nice outing or special occasion like a birthday. read more

COMO is in an amazing location with great vibes and drinks that really stand out. However, the food was honestly average--my pasta was too buttery and heavy. While the atmosphere and drinks were fantastic, the food could use a little improvement. read more

Can they accommodate vegans?
Not really. It would be nice if they had one dish that was vegan, like Paradiso has two permanent dishes that are vegan on their menu.
Any dress code?
Not really, people do tend to look nice however. Patio can be more casual, bar is more of a scene.
Good to visit with kids?
No. We were there the first week and would not take children
