Upon the recommendation of my vet, I gave Dawn at Dusk-to-Dawn a call. The first time her team watched my dogs, it went great. Very happy. The second time I used them, which included overnight and daytime visits I was ECSTATIC. She has a team of highly capable, engaged employees who spent the needed time and attention on my pampered pooches. The house always looks great when I get back and the minor chores like bringing in the mail and paper saved me a lot of legwork getting ready for vacation. But, wait....there's more. This time, I had a major airline fail and spent 28 hours traveling instead of 6. I was in a panic and needed another overnight stay by her sitter and I wasn't sure if I'd hear back in time to get on the next endless leg of my flight. Well, Dawn to the rescue! She got a sitter, sent her over on VERY SHORT NOTICE and my pooches were again well-cared for. Rarely does a business fully live up to my high standards - Dusk-to-Dawn does and I will never use any other service. Professional, responsive, and trustworthy. It doesn't get any better than that!

I boarded my dog at Aloha Pet Resort & Spa and opted for the Ultimate Groom package, expecting a…read morespecific haircut. The front desk assured me they could do the style and asked me to provide a reference photo when dropping him off. I did exactly that, confirmed with them multiple times, and even told them to call me if they weren't able to do it. They reassured me it would be no issue. Fast forward to pick-up--I was absolutely horrified. The haircut was nothing like what I asked for. It looked like the groomer completely ignored the reference photo, and worst of all, they didn't even bother calling me to discuss alternatives before butchering my dog's fur! I've posted before-and-after photos, including the style I requested so you can see for yourself how much of a disaster this was. The amount of hair they chopped off is shocking. The haircut I initially requested which Aloha agreed to. I won't be returning for grooming services, and I do not recommend Aloha Pet Resort & Spa if you care about how your pet is groomed! P.S. The photos are not displayed in the proper order. The images of the dog being groomed is what Aloha agreed to make him look like, the images with long fur laying down is what he looked like prior, and the images of him standing with short fur is what Aloha gave me.

I am sharing this because I would never want another pet owner to go through what we have…read more We boarded our two dogs at Rock River Pet Resort and were shocked by the condition they were in when a friend picked them up. Both dogs were covered in feces, including Cooper, who had feces on his face. We were told this was because they had accidents, our boys do not have accidents in their kennels, which makes me seriously question whether they were being let outside. Our dogs are house-trained and, while accidents can happen, no dog should be returned to their owner covered in feces from head to toe. Cooper became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea and was up numerous times throughout the night, something he had never done before. Both dogs have also been acting fearful and unusually anxious. They stayed glued to my side and seemed uncomfortable and distressed, which is completely out of character for them. Our dogs are family members, and we trusted Rock River Pet Resort to provide them with safe, attentive care. Instead, we brought home dogs that were filthy, stressed, and in Cooper's case, seriously sick. The emotional toll of watching him suffer and wondering what happened while they were in their care has been overwhelming. I am honestly sick over this entire experience. Seeing our dogs returning in this condition and watching Cooper become so ill has been heartbreaking. I would not wish this experience on any pet owner.

She has a dog park that they go to several times a day. Each dog gets individualized attention. Wind Dancer is a small, all inclusive kennel that is clean, and run on love.
