Why them? They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive. They are family owned and they have over 20 years of experience. After 30 minutes to an hour later, they had additional questions about the tow and based on the answer, it would determine if they could assist. I expressed to my insurance company that whatever questions this company had should have been addressed before they accepted the tow and NOT almost an entire hour later. I further explained that I could only get the answer from Toyota as I personally didn't know. My insurance and I both called Toyota and Toyota confirmed that whatever this tow truck company was asking, they were able to do. My insurance company then informed this company of the answer Toyota provided to which this tow truck company confirmed with my insurance that they finally fully accepted the tow. I informed my insurance company that if I didn't get an ETA text or call from this tow company within the next hour, I would call my insurance company back to alert them. Welp, an hour passed and this tow company never contacted me. When calling my insurance company, I spoke with a new representative who wasn't aware of the situation and he informed me that this lying incompetent time wasting tow truck company put in their notes that they weren't able to tow my vehicle because Toyota said it couldn't be taken there. I called Toyota with the insurance rep on the phone and they confirmed...that was a lie! I called this incompetent unprofessional lying company directly to get answers as to what the h3ll happened. The phone rings and a fool answers by saying "hello". Mind you, this is supposed to be a company. I immediately ask who I was speaking with and whether or not it was a company because of how unprofessional this fool was on the phone. Rather than answering my legitimate question, he resorted to asking who I was. I asked again if I was speaking with a company. He then raises his voice to ask who I was again. I then use very beautiful colorful language towards him by asking him who the $%&* he was the %&%* and hung up on this fool. I say all of this because for any future tow, I will make sure to never use their service whether through Toyota or privately. This company is absolutely pathetic and I am happy to warn others about what issues they could potentially run into. FYI - I see they respond to negative reviews on Google. Before they even try to respond to this review here, I want them to know that almost everything I mentioned here can be proven because the calls with my insurance company and Toyota are both recorded by me. During the entire 3-day pickup window, I made numerous calls and was repeatedly told there was "considerable activity." Despite that, no driver had even been assigned to transport my Mercedes from California to Massachusetts. Out of frustration, I contacted another company, and they picked up my car in less than 24 hours. When I called to cancel my booking, I was told I'd be charged a cancellation fee because I was canceling within the pickup window. The irony is that they had underpriced the shipment by $1,000, which is likely why no carrier accepted the job in the first place. Then they expected me to pay even more to fix their mistake. I genuinely felt bad for the customer service representative because she wasn't the one who caused the problem. But after days of empty assurances, repeated follow-up calls, and no progress, I was beyond frustrated.
