I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call…read more Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis.

I live in Simi Valley and he is in West Covina. My problem was not an easy fix, based on all of his suggestions and coaching. He came out to Simi, in the evening and diagnosed my problem. I basically needed a new fridge. He set me up with a place to order, he picked it up and brought it out at 6:45 in the evening and replaced my refrigerator. Oh, there is more. He called my service insurance company and recouped 1/2 of the cost the day my policy expired. In addition, after replacing the fridge, he looked over our RV, got on the roof, gave advice and gave a can of self leveling seem sealer to put on the corners of our roof.
