That is because I haven't had a great experience with either of them. After having a very terrible experience at JJ's Auto service which is right next door and please see my review for that. I had an excellent experience at Boswell's which is where I got everything fixed for a fraction of the price. Bill and Tom, the latter of whom is the owner we're super friendly and nice. Tom's wife answers the phone and is polite and courteous. I wanted the job done quickly and efficiently so that I could get my car back on the road otherwise I wouldn't be able to move forward with the rest of my work in business meetings they were very understanding of that and made sure that they did everything to accomplish it and exceeded my expectations I have absolutely nothing horrible to say about them because they're such wonderful folks and apparently they've been in business for a very long time and they know what they do and they're good at it. If you ever find yourself stuck in the area and need car repairs I would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone

This for I received my insurance deductible of 500 dollars. The owner Keon Wilson says he will reimburse me my 4,767.88 for my engine however I have not received it or any information on when or how I will be reimbursed. Just excuses! I asked why the business insurance is not paying for it? He said "because the vehicle was not in the shop at the time of the incident, the mechanic a independent contractor who was driving the vehicle after hours that's where the problem comes up". So now I'm out of a vehicle , 4760 for the engine not to mention the 1,000 I spent on tires new tires. The mechanic/driver provided our insurance to the state trooper (this is now a at fault accident on my insurance). I am mad as hell!! This is going to be a long drawn out process in court now. Please beware and stay away from Key mechanics in Waldorf md!!

My Prius Plug-in has a little over 91,000 miles now, and I want to be proactive in staying a step or two ahead of any issues. The repair guys at Apex Auto Care (Located in Waldorf, Maryland) are an outstanding resource for Prius owners (and other vehicle models too) in this regard. They're astute with the uniqueness of the Prius Egr system, and make repairs seem almost routine (despite the complexity). They walk you through the repair process, and even share images of the working area of your vehicle for context, in real time. Their prices are very fair, the facility is clean and organized, and they're located in Southern Maryland, which is very convenient for me. I used to travel to Northern Virginia for competent Prius maintenance for years, but since learning about and soliciting Apex Auto, that's no longer necessary. Anyhow, ask for Bob Beavers. He's the man!

To get an accurate understanding of how dishonest and predatory this business is particularly when it comes to women sort the reviews by looking at the lowest reviews. On Sunday, I had my vehicle towed to this shop. My AC had stopped working and after driving for sometime fumes started coming from the front of the car and liquids were dripping from the bottom of the car. When my car got brought in, I called and explained exactly that. They told me it would cost about $67 to do a diagnosis of the issue. The next day, Tim called me and said the issue is my radiator and I needed to replace the radiator. He told me the total cost would be $764. I told him I would call back because I wanted to get a second opinion. I wanted to get a second opinion because this past December I brought my car in to them because my AC/ heater was not working. Then I paid them over $600. Now six months later I was having the same issues. Because I couldn't move the car to another mechanic, I contacted a mobile mechanic. In my messages to the mobile mechanic I said the same thing that I told this business. My AC stopped working and the car started fuming. In the end, I could not coordinate a time with the mobile mechanic due to work, so I decided to go with Myers. The next day I called them to okay the service. Tim now quotes $849, instead of the $764 he originally told me. I explained to him that was not the price he quoted me before. I wrote the price down, but he lied and said it was what he told me. I negotiated the price to $813 because I just wanted my car fixed. I okayed the service after he assured me he did a diagnostic and the issues would be fixed. Of course, I'm thinking the AC would also be fixed. When they called me to say the car is ready. My sister goes to pick up the car and had me on facetime. The very first thing I asked her to do was to check the AC before paying. LO AND BEHOLD THE AC WAS NOT FIXED. When I brought this issue up. They lied that I never mentioned the issue with my AC. We are in the peak of the summer, Why would I not mention my AC not working??? Also, why would I mention it to the mobile mechanic (see my screenshots) and not mention it to Myers, the people who have my car and are fixing my car???? Instead of them admitting their error. They tried to charge me an additional $1000 to fix the AC talking about there is an issue with the AC compressor. So they wanted me to pay a total of $1800!!!! They are ridiculous. Of course I contested this. I called Neil Myers the owner to resolve the issue cordially. To my surprise he started yelling at me and threatening me that "he knows my type" and that if I don't pay in cash I will not get my car. It was so TRAUMATIZING. I never had a business owner speak to me like that, especially when it is THEIR ERROR. The way he spoke to me I was scared because like I said my younger sister was there alone. So I immediately left work to go there myself. Then Brandon (Myers??) got involved and again instead of rectifying the situation and admitting their error also lied that I never told them. So he called me stating the call is being recorded. Then it was clear he was trying to create a recording to cover themselves legally. He also tried to tell me that I needed to pay in cash or certified check before they release my car. I called them out that it is against the law if it was not previously disclosed to the customer. In the end, I paid $749, instead of $813 because Brandon said he would give me a "discount". I found it laughable that he thought that would be sufficient to rectify the fact that I paid $749 to "fix" a radiator that is sold on amazon for less than $99 and my AC is still not working. I don't recommend this business to anyone. Also by the way the positive reviews are doctored. As a first time customer they will harass you for days to leave a review, which I am assuming why so many people feel compelled to leave these 4 star reviews. But trust me don't patronize this business!

I had used Myers years ago for minor repairs and was always treated well and was satisfied with their work, this time was totally different. When I took my vehicle in they did the diagnostic gave me the results and I gave them permission to make the repairs. my vehicle was there for more than a week when I picked my car up and drove approximately five miles my engine light came on and the car started backfiring and shut off I was able to get off the highway. I waited 10 to 15 minutes and the car finally started. once I got home, I called the shop they gave me every excuse in the book as to what was happening to the car. My vehicle was in and out of their service department for more than three months. to make a long story short, my vehicle was at Myers for a total of three or four months, I paid over two thousand dollars and my vehicle still is not running. The last thing I had replaced was my fuel pump. At the present time every light on my panel is on. I am eighty one years old living on a fixed incom, this has been very frustrating and I wouldn't recommend Myers to my family or friend as a matter of fact I wouldn't wish them on my worst enemy. I subsequently came to learn all about the benefits of PPF (short for "Paint Protection Film") from Mr. David Dugan at Ceramic Pro/NXT Wraps. http://www.ceramicpro.com/aftercare. Not only did Mr. Dugan explain his after-market exterior paint and interior vehicle protection services, but he did so thoroughly and patiently. Days after taking delivery of my new Tesla, I turned it over to Mr. Dugan and his team at their shop in White Plains, MD (near Waldorf). I opted for PPF to provide front end paint protection, coupled with a Ceramic Coating on the entire exterior of my Tesla to help maintain its luster. Aside from providing phenomenal shine (in fact SHINIER than when I dropped off my 3-day old brand new car), the peace of mind knowing that my Ultra Red paint would be far less impacted by environmental factors was the decision point for me. I learned that PPF and the ceramic coating combined reduce the risk of rock chips and road debris penetrating or spoiling the paint. Plus, the ceramic window tint protects the interior from the deleterious effects of summer sun. The ceramic tint I selected results in almost 90% heat rejection, which is a huge bonus since Tesla's have soooo much in-cabin sun exposure. In fact, I elected to tint all windows, including the windshield and panoramic roof, where Tesla drivers are most impacted by hot sun and damaging UV rays. Side note... whether you live in DC, MD, or VA, Mr. Dugan is knowledgeable about window tint laws and will give top notch recommendations. The Outcome: In about 3 days, I picked up my VERY shiny, wonderfully protected Tesla and was overjoyed! The pictures speak for themselves... check them out! It was storming on the day I picked up my Tesla and the water beaded and rolled off quite nicely. No streaks or water stains the next morning either! Bottom line... Don't hesitate to work with Mr. Dugan and team for exterior and interior protection options for your car (either brand-new or once-new). I am so so satisfied with the outcome and it was worth the investment of time and money with Mr. Dugan and his top-notch team at Ceramic Pro. #SuperShiny #Tesla

Excellent customer service! I took my Ford F150 in for body repair and they did a flawless job. I called and spoke to a service rep and they scheduled me for an appointment for that week and handled all rental services. When I arrived there was just some basic paperwork to sign. They got me into my rental quickly and I was set. I would consistently receive updates every day via text message. (That was awesome!). They finished my truck on the date they promised. All washed and ready! Highly, highly recommend for all body repair work! This place is just an honest body shop that cares about keeping their customers happy! I had hit a deer early on Saturday morning and messed up the front of my car and by noon on Sunday there was a tow truck at the location of my car that took it to Complete Auto Body. Where they immediately started working on it. Yes I had to wait but it was because of the insurance company not Complete Auto Body. They have one person that contacts you to keep you informed of what is going on, which I found very helpful instead of multiple people telling you whats going on. I am very happy with their professionalism and how friendly they were when I picked up my car. Needless to say should I ever need to have my car fixed again I will be calling them!!!!!!! Every time I have an event happen that involves damage to my car, I always take my car to Complete Auto Body. I originally came because my insurance recommended them however, their service is what kept my business. James (USAA liaison) always handles my case. Even when I choose not to go through my insurance for a problem, I ask for him by name. He makes sure my car is well kept and follows up/responds to me as needed. Before the pandemic they even had free snacks, waters, and juices in the front . I love this place lol. The turnaround is always quick too. read more

I found Complete Auto Body on line and took a chance with them well I was pleased from the moment that I walked through the door with the decor the customer service and James who gave me a estimate. Then I was told that my parts had to be ordered they came in when I was told that they would then I was told that my car would be ready in 3 days my car was ready in 2 days and it looked great! I had a really good experience here. I had a big dent in my car which is a black metallic color. I was afraid to have the work done because it's difficult to match colors. They gave me a date when they thought it would be finished and they were right on schedule. They were pleasant and professional. The best part was the color matched!!! Recommended to me by Waldorf Ford dealership. Worked with a Manager named Adam and had a fantastic experience. They kept me updated about my vehicle and got it back to me exactly when they estimated it would. Repairs looked great and the experience was completely painless for me. This shop is very professional and takes pride in their work. I have used their services on more than one occasional and have been completely satisfied by the outcome. They are easy to work with and their customer service is outstanding. My car looked like nothing had happened to it. This is the only shop that I would take my car to. Awesome job! I have had a really pleasant experience with this shop. Waldorf Honda recommended Complete Auto Body to me pretty recently and I couldn't be happier that they did. James and the technician took great care of my vehicle. Prior to me picking my car back up they cleaned it up very nice. I will only take my car here in the future and recommend that others do too. read more

Early-afternoon, Tuesday, August 6, I noticed a loose spring leaving my fuel cap ajar on the F-150. In speaking with James, he was great in suggesting a remedy to the fuel cap. I purchased a new fuel cap and he installed it. Totally time from purchase and installation was no more than 20 minutes. Great customer service! Edward H. read more

I brought my little 2003 Suzuki Aero in for a fender bender. This car is my baby Complete Auto Body not only fixed my cars boo boos but they reset lights on my dash (tire pressure etc...) and vacuum the inside. Service is terrible i had an issue with my vehicle and thye were not willing to help me out at all. I had to come back multiple times for them to fix the same problem. i never got a call back the repair took over a month when it should have only taken 2 weeks i could go on and on. i would never recommend this place. read more

I'm completely satisfied with the craftsmanship of the work done on my vehicle. I got my classic car when promised, in better condition than I thought would be possible. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the building and left with a smile! Would highly recommend Complete Auto Body. read more

After picking up the car, multiple new issues appeared that were NOT present before, they completely messed up my car in my opinion. When I returned and asked them to look into it, instead of taking responsibility or checking their own work properly, the shop became defensive and blamed me for problems that clearly appeared right after they handled the vehicle. Later, they started making up lies and trying to blame things on the last mechanic who fixed my car. Typical deflection tactic. Throughout the process, the shop: * Installed parts incorrectly * Caused damage during their work * Denied responsibility * Provided contradictory explanations * Became confrontational instead of professional * Wrote false claims to cover themselves This shop took no accountability for issues clearly caused while the vehicle was in their care. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this shop for anyone who values honesty, proper workmanship, and professionalism.

That is because I haven't had a great experience with either of them. After having a very terrible experience at JJ's Auto service which is right next door and please see my review for that. I had an excellent experience at Boswell's which is where I got everything fixed for a fraction of the price. Bill and Tom, the latter of whom is the owner we're super friendly and nice. Tom's wife answers the phone and is polite and courteous. I wanted the job done quickly and efficiently so that I could get my car back on the road otherwise I wouldn't be able to move forward with the rest of my work in business meetings they were very understanding of that and made sure that they did everything to accomplish it and exceeded my expectations I have absolutely nothing horrible to say about them because they're such wonderful folks and apparently they've been in business for a very long time and they know what they do and they're good at it. If you ever find yourself stuck in the area and need car repairs I would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone

I came here for the first time in February, to check if one of my tires had a leak. They checked it…read more& told me there wasn't anything they could do for now. I appreciated the honesty & their explanation of slow leaks, so I decided I would come here for my oil change instead of going to the dealership. Supporting local businesses is important to me. They were very thorough & again explained everything to me about recommended services. They're not pushy about it & they even had checked my Carfax before making the recommendations, which I was impressed by. Finding a shop you can trust is invaluable & I hope they don't change that. Marvin was who helped me today, but the entire team this afternoon was great!
