I been to a lot of car washes and most of them are decent but this one OMG! The first part the vacuum part horrible it's like they did it with a blind fold, the washing well I like 100% hand wash here is so so! The last and final part which is the detail horrible told they guys I didn't want the Almoral on the plastic and inside, they tried to tell me it's best sorry this is a new car I just wanted my ticket adjusted and no almoral. Long story short my car was ready in like 5 minutes they didn't bother to clean the plastic on the outside insides water spot on the outside that could easily come off! Want a good car wash drive a little more down the street to HARBOR CAR WASH down the street that's a very good car wash and Great customer service! Actually Zero Stars! This place charges top dollar for the lowest level of work. This is one of the worst places in Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, or Southern California to take your car to be washed. They charge $11.00 to rinse your car off and then want to tell you its oxidation "that's why the bird shit is still on your car". The manager (Gabriel) is a lying ass with no customer service skills what so ever. Save your time and your money and take your vehicle somewhere else that will actually do the job they're paid to do. Rule 1. When something is washed it comes out clean. If it doesn't then you wash it again, and do it right this time. Pay attention to the bad reviews this place receives. I've been coming here almost every week for the past five years. It's right by my house and they do a wonderful job here! If you come during peak hours or busy weekends, don't expect your car to be 100%, that's normal for busy hours so try to be understanding because these men are working hard and doing as much as they can! Make sure you give them a nice tip because they depend on that for their income as well. I see people complaining about dogs hair or coffee not being cleaned thoroughly or just bad cleaning service in general.. if you're paying for the basics $13 car wash please don't expect a complete auto detailed cleaning service, doesn't make any sense. It's not their job to go the extra mile for you if you're not willing to pay the extra moolas for their hard work. The manager here is very friendly and super nice! First off, I've been coming here for years and this was always my go to car wash place. The last few times I've come here the service has slowly declined. The last time I was here, the outside of my car looked great, the inside was less than stellar. I decided to give them one more chance today. I chose the classic wash which is the middle one at $16.95/$18.95. Again, the outside looked great and the interior was sub-par and that's being generous. On top of that, they charged me the large vehicle price ($18.95) for a small compact suv. I've had the same car the last 4 times I've been here and this is the first time they've charged me extra. I would frequently bring my car to get washed here years ago and I thought the service was always great. Little did I know that under new management, the quality of the service has gone WAY down. I brought my car yesterday and opted for the super wash which was $27 not including tip. The entire service took about an hour, which I didn't mind being that they had little staff and a few other customers ahead of me. The young man that I left my car with at the vacuum station asked which air freshener I'd like and I chose Black Ice but when I received my car there was no scent whatsoever. No big deal, I didn't mind really as long as my car was clean. The driver's side and passenger side looked good. As I drove off, I noticed the spider web on my side view mirror was STILL there....grrrrreat. I got home and opened my trunk to put all belongings back in and they didn't vacuum or wipe my trunk down, another thing they didn't do. I was a bit annoyed but whatever I figured they must've just forgotten. The icing on the cake was a scratch on my hood, on the passenger side, that was not there when I dropped my car off. At that point, I got very annoyed and wanted to go back down there but decided just not to give them my business any more. Management needs to step it up. Unacceptable. read more

So glad I found Complete, now Royal Hand Car Wash, since Metro Car Wash suddenly closed down a few months ago! I went to Metro for years, and thought they did a good job, but these guys do a far superior job! They are thorough, helpful, communicative - excellent customer service! Plus my car was covered with those tiny dots of tree sap that are like glue on the paint so had to be removed with clay bar. My car looks like new!! And they are running a special for the clay - for the amount of work involved, I couldn't believe the price! Thanks guys! read more

I have been coming here for YEARS, and as of late, the attention to detail once given is just gone. I have continued to come back - but I won't anymore. This is pretty pathetic. I had my dogs in my car - and I spilled my coffee while driving. Horrible combo. I paid $35 (plus $3.00 tip) for my car wash special. I heard the cashier say that today was "slow" - so, there really was no excuse. I used to give $5 - and even $10 tips sometimes - but got tired of feeling duped. I've been coming here for years. I always get the pay in advance punch card because it works out to a cheaper wash per time. Today, Saturday, I was charged $2 extra because it's the weekend. I told the receptionist to tell her boss that's a ridiculous policy. When I purchased the card, we had an agreed upon price with no stipulation on which day of the week. She said people were "taking advantage" and bringing many cars on the same card on Saturdays. I explained that's not taking advantage of anything because the card is a set price. Her response, "Well, that's not my problem." I understand that, which is why I started with "Tell your boss..." Customer service is lacking and charging extra after I paid is unacceptable. The wash itself is good, but I probably won't return when this punch card is up. read more

New owners. New employees. Horrible job "cleaning" my car. I have a card for advance paid VIP (Classic) washes. It includes vacuuming, but there were still crumbs, hair, and dirt on the floormats and seats. Windows were NOT wiped on the inside. Dash is still dusty. Cup holders were not wiped. Tires were not cleaned, let alone rims. New employees don't speak enough English to comprehend the shortcomings of the job poorly done. The manager does not care. If that isn't bad enough, they will no longer honor already pre-paid cards, so if you possess those from the prior owner, you are screwed. They also refuse to honor a free carwash card that was fully stamped by the prior owner. Zero customer service skills. No offer to exchange for whatever their new package deal is or offer a free wash. Nope. Instead, the manager had the audacity to accuse me of STEALING the prepaid card so I could get free car washes! Then he accused me of printing the card myself! WTF!!! He needs to go buy some manners somewhere. The owner needs to fire the manager, give the clerk the opportunity to make things right for loyal customers, and hire at least some laborers who speak English. The prior owner and employees demonstrated pride in their work and received generous tips for jobs well done. read more

Have been coming here for 10 years. Always a great experience and thorough job. They have great prices and are very honest. Today the guy even remembered me and that he over charged me by $1 last time I was here over a month ago and gave me cash from the drawer to make up for it. That never happens. Surprised he even remembered me. The customer service is wonderful, the inside seating area is comfortable, and they are always done quickly. So this place used to be pretty good my father had been coming here for 8 years and they always did a good job on the car and honest workers. Well they changed ownership seems like the folks that once worked there no longer are there and a whole new crew. We gave it a shot and well let me say there are some sticky fingered guys. They stole $4 out of my dads console and sure there are risks but having never had anything stolen for the eight years we'd been coming here it was a bit off putting and upsetting. Speaking to the manager did nothing cause he didn't seem to care he has thieves working for him. I brought my car here to get a regular cleaning plus a seat cleaned since it look like spilt milk. However after the cleaning the seat actually looked worse than when I brought it in. There is black spots on the seat which I asked the gentleman to make sure the "water" spots would go away. They haven't and it has been 2 days in 90 degree weather. I brought it here because it is close to Turo location and I needed to return the car clean. They told me to bring it back but I cannot because I am not in the area. Please, Please do not take your car here! I have been coming to complete auto spa for years. I bring in my car here a couple of times a year for a regular car wash, and about once, if not twice a year for a complete detail. What I didn't know, is that this place now has new owners. I really wish I would have read yelp, prior to coming in. Not many good reviews since the new owners took over. If I would have read the reviews, I would have not dropped off my car here the other day for it's yearly 'complete detail'. I was made aware of the under new ownership, because they have handwritten signs posted throughout their facility. Anyways, dropped my car off in the morning. Picked it up in the afternoon. I wish I did my inspection prior to leaving, but I had a small window to get back to work. The exterior of my car, I believe it was done well. However it was done better in the past. I did notice one whole wheel/tire wasn't done, it looked like it may have been wiped down, but it wasn't done thoroughly though, if i was to swipe my finger across the rim, it would of been black from the brake dust acquired. The interior, I have leather seats, so not much needed. Just needed a good vacuum, which it was done, and a good wipe down of the seats. I did find that once again not a thorough enough job was done, because I still had evidence of milk splatter (I have two little kids) on my door panels, and seats. But this is where somewhere someone/something went wrong. I don't know what product they used but whatever they used can ruin your interior. I believe the products is like a dupe for armorial (or however your spell it). They run it across the dash, and seats as a protection, it give a nice shiny finish. When I got in my car to drive back to work, I noticed things extremely greasy because of this 'oil' i am going to call it. I literally had a drip coming down my phone mount. So the guy that worked on my car went extremely heavy on this product. I was thinking that when I got home, I'd have to take a towel and run across the interior to lighten up this product a bit. But on my drive, I locked my windows, because I'd be picking up my daughter and I really didin't want her rolling down the windows after getting my car detailed. That's when I noticed that the product that they used melted the coating on my window buttons. I am super upset that I didn't notice it sooner. I love my car, but I didn't make a big stink about it. It has little dings, and imperfections all around. But my I couldn't imagine if it was a higher end car like a Mercedes or something like that, I think somebody would be suing for damages. I love this carwash. It's occasionally hit or miss, but majority it's very good. The prices are cheap/fair and many times they've gone above and beyond with including extra services (Mat steaming, spot CLEAN, ETC). The owner is very nice and makes sure the job is done well. Out of the 100+ times I've gone, only one job was not up to par. It was near closing and hot so it's possible he was just tired and ready to go home! Bad day, who knows. Paid for the "classic wash." It's the 3rd best from the top. 21.99 for my truck. Took about 30 mins from arrival until when they honked the horn that my vehicle was done. Exterior was dried fairly well, no complains there. The interior though was a completely different story. The mats still had all of the same dirt (dirt that could easily be removed by shaking the mat off) on it. Seats still had the same little crumbs so I had to shake them off by hand as well. Looks like they didn't even bother to try to vacuum it. Dash still had the same lint on it from before it got washed. The door jam and threshold were dirty from the guy cleaning it stepping on it with muddy shoes. Basically I paid for an exterior was since they didn't do a single good thing in the interior, next time I'll save 10 bucks and just go through the automatic car wash. Shame because it used to be a good car wash before, but last few times they do not even make an attempt at cleaning the interior. My truck is by no means dirty, mostly little specs of dirt and lint. So the interior should have been the easy part , guess they saw it looked semi clean and half assed it in hopes that I wouldn't notice. 3/10 would not recommend you come here in hopes of a clean interior. Go further up the road to Harbor wash on Adams and Harbor. read more

This was my first time coming here and i will not be coming back again. The exterior of the car was ok but the inside was bad they did not wipe down anything correctly. My car wasn't even that dirty to begin with its a brand new car so you could tell right away when they failed to clean the cup holders and dashboard. My windows were not cleaned properly you could see all the smudges and to make matters worse they gave my rear passenger window at least 3 scratches and all did was try to give my husband a coupon to cone again, I am livid about this i think i would have much rather gone to the $5 express wash! read more

I am so sad to be writing this review. I was so upset with how my car came out because my car was not TOTALLY clean. I must admit, it was clean but not $30 worth clean. I was recommended here by my uncle who has been coming here since I was a kid, so I realized he must be coming back for a reason. It was my first time, my car was super dirty, I just chose the ultimate one to give my car a break from all of the gunk and dirt and dried up water. The ultimate wash was $25 and $5 extra for wax. I waited for about half an hour until the guy was finished with my car. i walked around my car to examine and I pointed out 5 things on my car and took out leaves MYSELF. Shouldn't you be the one doing that for me because, you know, I am paying $30 for my car to be shiny and spotless... How disappointed I am.. Horrible service. I pull up in my dark blue 2007 Chevy 2500HD truck on 06/06/15 around 2-4 p.m. It had some light mud on it. As I get out the service writer (a small guy) looks over the truck and then comes back to me and stares at me... doesn't say anything. I tell him I want the "turbo wash" which is 13.95 for trucks and SUV's. He then asks me "well do you want us to get the dirt off" I say "well isn't that included in the car wash". He says "no we can't do that, but for 20$ we can"... So because my truck is dirtier than others they refuse to wash it for the base price. I always come here and have had decent service but after this I will not be returning and I will be passing along the information as well. read more
